Stayed here on route to NPA and also celebrating our anniversary. We were allocated a fabulous large room and it was exactly as we requested a quiet room. At the back of the room was a fabulous wee veranda, where we sat out and had a drink last night in a lovely garden area, so peaceful and quiet. Room was clean, bed very comfortable and fresh. Food in the hotel was delicious and all members of staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, served by a lovely lady who also offered fresh scones as soon as they arrived from kitchen. It kept us going for the whole day. All members of staff, from reception at check in, bar staff, restaurant and dining staff at breakfast to checking out were all exceptional. Definitely would recommend and will return.

Nothing to dislike here

The staff are exceptional 👌 I forget her name on reception, blond lady who was on in the mornings I want to say her name was leslie but I'm probably way off. Herself and Kathleen on breakfast are the heart and soul of the hole hotel, they are both so welcoming, helpful and hilariously fun to be around 😊 they made my hole stay. I will be back next summer just for girls alone.i couldn't thank them enough made me feel at home.

The cleaning lady knocks as she walking into the room. Only a fool would break the four second rule, didn't bother me as I was alone and she done an amazing job refreshing my room bless 🥰 but for your own embarrassment knock and wait 😆

Stayed for one night in this hotel, ate in dining room on the evening which was delicious . Rooms were spacious and comfortable . Breakfast next morning was superb, with an exceptional hot offering and scones & pastries also included. We had requested fat-free milk for breakfast when making the booking and we checked to ensure it would be there for breakfast , the girl at reception said that she would personal get it the following morning which she did , absolutely fantastic hotel. There was a secure car park and also a secure bicycle shed in which we were able to store our bikes for the night. Would rate this far more superior than 3 star hotel .

I can honestly say there was nothing that we didn't like about this hotel.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, we were treated very well at Greville Arms Hotel. The staff are genuinely friendly and professional. Karen at reception was very helpful and warm, as was her colleague Leslie. A young friendly waiter whose name I didn't get, (he started working at the hotel in December) showed great enthusiasm and warmth and looked after us very well. The hotel is a wee bit dated but very clean. Food is excellent! There's a great buzz about the place. Entertainment was good on the Saturday night. Location is perfect, bang in the main street.

No lift/elevator. Not too bad if you're on the first floor. The second floor might be a challenge if you struggle with your mobility. We requested a room change because of this and Karen very kindly facilitated this request. The room we were moved to was perfect, it had a walk in shower (perfect for disabled guests). It felt a bit chilly, and when we mentioned this to Leslie, she kindly got a room heater sent up to our room. Thanks for that!

Great value, central location, fantastic food. Free parking, Beautiful old hotel. Special mention to the reception staff who were helpful, polite and experienced, really friendly and nothing was a bother. From the Bar/cavery staff to the waiting staff in restaurant, everyone was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended this hotel, a nice buzz about it, tasty cavery lunch and bar food, great breakfast buffet with a large selection of hot and cold food available. Rooms clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend. Very reasonably priced!!!

Nothing, just something to keep in mind is there no lift if you have mobility issues might not be suitable.

the location is perfect, close to everything. The staff couldn’t be more accommodating ie: there was an issue with parking, as soon as the manager knew the issue in the car park he came out and sorted it. The hotel itself is quite old fashioned but very nice; ;maybe some updating/refurbishment. The rooms were quite spacious and clean. Breakfast was a bit miss mashed being a self service/canteen type of affair; missed the table service you normally would get. But very good value for money for the price it was, certainly can’t really complain.

Charming clean rooms, staff were lovely to deal with. Everything about the hotel has its own unique character, and all in the middle of the town too! We felt very relaxed and would definitely stay here again!

The only downside was the heat in the room became far too hot in the middle of the night. Unfortunately we had to call reception at around 4 or 5am to switch off the heat as we could only open our windows which only helped a little. Once we called, however, the heat was switched off and we were able to get some sleep roughly 30 mins later. Everything else about the Greville Arms was a positive experience!

Our stay was exceptional in every way. This really is a very beautiful and charming hotel with lots of character. We loved the outdoor areas especially which our lovely room looked out onto. The decor was wonderful. Our meal was fabulous and great value for money as we got a set menu. The staff were lovely. In terms of location the hotel was situated perfectly.

I couldn't say one thing I didn't like about this hotel. A really gorgeous hotel that for anyone would be a happy and memorable stay which it was for us

I have stayed here a number of times. Each time is like a first visit because of the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel has a certain old-world charm about it especially the upstairs area where one can relax in peace. The staff are very obliging and friendly. The food is excellent. We have been in many hotels in the country but this is one of our favourites.

Everything was excellent. Would definitely recommend the Greville Arms hotel fora long or short stay. As it is located in the Irish Midlands in Mullingar, it makes for a very convenient base for touring in the surrounding counties. And no, I am not the owner of the hotel lol

Lovely stay, the staff were absolutely lovely every one of them. From when we arrived they were soo lovey and welcoming, carried our bags to the room, when we came down for a drink the bar man was soo friendly and even brought the dri ks down to us. I have to say you the staff are a credit to the hotel. The hotel was lovely too, great location and everything was perfect. Thanks very much, would definitely recommend and go back again, not too many hotels would meet these standards especially the staff
