Absolutely adorable. I haven’t met nicer, more helpful owners anywhere else. Breakfast was delicious! Americans - be aware that air conditioning is not the norm - I bring a small bedside fan with me for air flow.

That I didn’t have longer to stay!

The Lighthouse is a delightful B&B in Dingle! Dermot was a phenomenal host, he paid close attention to every last detail even making sure there was gluten free bread alongside the fresh baked croissants at breakfast. Location was amazing, the view of Dingle was fantastic and everything was easy to get to. He provided good recommendations of where to go and what to see. Despite being obviously very busy he still took the time to visit jovially with every guest. He had everyone totally intrigued when he passed on his excitement the day of the All Ireland Hurling match between Clare and Cork. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse, we will be back!

From start to finish our stay was just fabulous. We were greeted by Dermot and he was a lovely, happy, gent of a man. He couldn't have been kinder to us. We were able to walk to the town no bother and it didn't take us long at all, and there was a very convenient car park outside the B&B also. The room was beautiful and absolutely spotless. It had a beautiful view and it was immaculate. The bed was comfortable and everything was just perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Lighthouse B&B, many thanks!

There was nothing we didn't like, it was perfect in every way!

We only stayed one night at the Lighthouse, to meet with family in Dingle town. But we were pleased with our spacious twin room (double bed and single) which looked out over the harbour, and would have been happy to stay longer if our plans (and Storm Ernesto) had permitted. The BnB is well situated to explore Dingle on foot, and has adequate on-site parking for a car, which is a bonus. The beautiful Dingle Peninsula loop is an easy drive or cycle away.

It would have been nice to have breakfast included in the price of the room. Instead we had breakfast in Dingle rather than pay extra at the guest house.

Our host, Dermot, was great. In addition to manning the breakfast on his own, he found time to take us out on a drive once morning, showing us some beautiful sights and a great leather shop. He is extremely personable and knowledgeable about the area. If he begins giving tours as a regular offering, I would encourage people to take advantage of them. The location was a healthy, but very manageable, walk from the center of town. The room was comfortable, bathroom small but workable. The views out our window were really beautiful.

Owner was absolutely fantastic. Easy lock box entry meant we could arrive at our own ease. We opted for the room only rate so didn't do breakfast, can't speak to it. The room itself was well sized, the bathroom was rather large too. Plenty of towels and pillows provided and a vanity with lots of light coming into the room. View was gorgeous and the front shared living room is perfect for a cuppa. Very clean and well cared for. Lots of character.

The beds were rather hard and just note that it is a 12 min walk to downtown dingle. Not a problem at all and worth the view just something worth noting.

I cannot say enough good things. Dermot called me back and said he had a room that wasn’t ready but if I didn’t mind we could have that room for 1 night and then he would switch us to a bigger room the next night. It was quiet and the view spectacular. The breakfast was simple but high quality and fresh. Hot croissant and fresh berries with freshly squeezed orange juice. Dermot and his son Jak made us feel like we were the cousins from Canada that had just showed up. Irish love❤️

We walked into town every night and back. No driving especially after going to to Dingle pub. Lovely garden quiet rooms

Beautiful building on a hill, 7 minute walk from the village center providing astonishing view of the bay and free car park. The owner loves his job, really friendly, always happy to give helpful and insightful information on local pubs and attractions. Felt like we stayed at his home. The breakfast area has amazing view. The room was beautifully designed with exceptional aesthetics, offering ample space and impeccable cleanliness. Image view from our room provided below. Totally recommend.

Dermot is a wonderful and welcoming host. He was available for advice and questions and generous with his time and ideas. He helped us find great restaurants both nights. We stayed there with our 3 adult children and both of the rooms were comfortable, had windows we could open to get fresh air, had hot water in the rooms, and were so comfortable. The location was perfect, enough away from town so it was quiet with a spectacular view and close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to go in town.

This accommodation is situated just a short walk to town. We had a nicely sized room with a great ocean view.

We had the most amazing weather, and it would have been lovely to have a few chairs to sit outside on at the property. The bed in our room was a bit too firm for us. While the Breakfast was good, a hot, cooked breakfast was not available here. (Do ask for Dermot’s porridge - a secret menu item which is quite good!!)
