Absolutely adorable. I haven’t met nicer, more helpful owners anywhere else. Breakfast was delicious! Americans - be aware that air conditioning is not the norm - I bring a small bedside fan with me for air flow.

That I didn’t have longer to stay!

The Lighthouse is a delightful B&B in Dingle! Dermot was a phenomenal host, he paid close attention to every last detail even making sure there was gluten free bread alongside the fresh baked croissants at breakfast. Location was amazing, the view of Dingle was fantastic and everything was easy to get to. He provided good recommendations of where to go and what to see. Despite being obviously very busy he still took the time to visit jovially with every guest. He had everyone totally intrigued when he passed on his excitement the day of the All Ireland Hurling match between Clare and Cork. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse, we will be back!

We only stayed one night at the Lighthouse, to meet with family in Dingle town. But we were pleased with our spacious twin room (double bed and single) which looked out over the harbour, and would have been happy to stay longer if our plans (and Storm Ernesto) had permitted. The BnB is well situated to explore Dingle on foot, and has adequate on-site parking for a car, which is a bonus. The beautiful Dingle Peninsula loop is an easy drive or cycle away.

It would have been nice to have breakfast included in the price of the room. Instead we had breakfast in Dingle rather than pay extra at the guest house.

Owner was absolutely fantastic. Easy lock box entry meant we could arrive at our own ease. We opted for the room only rate so didn't do breakfast, can't speak to it. The room itself was well sized, the bathroom was rather large too. Plenty of towels and pillows provided and a vanity with lots of light coming into the room. View was gorgeous and the front shared living room is perfect for a cuppa. Very clean and well cared for. Lots of character.

The beds were rather hard and just note that it is a 12 min walk to downtown dingle. Not a problem at all and worth the view just something worth noting.

I cannot say enough good things. Dermot called me back and said he had a room that wasn’t ready but if I didn’t mind we could have that room for 1 night and then he would switch us to a bigger room the next night. It was quiet and the view spectacular. The breakfast was simple but high quality and fresh. Hot croissant and fresh berries with freshly squeezed orange juice. Dermot and his son Jak made us feel like we were the cousins from Canada that had just showed up. Irish love❤️

We walked into town every night and back. No driving especially after going to to Dingle pub. Lovely garden quiet rooms

Dermot was a wonderful host. He was very kind and thoughtful; we had a great time chatting with him at breakfast each day. The continental breakfast was very nice- the fresh orange juice and croissants were a great treat! The B&B itself was really lovely, was very peaceful and in a quiet area with a nice view over the bay. We had a good sized room and comfortable beds. Overall we had an excellent experience and I would highly recommend staying for anyone going to Dingle.

Location is great. Close enough to the main street with restaurants and pubs (~10 min walk), but far away from the noise and chaos. Beautiful views of the Dingle harbor, especially at breakfast. Dermot (the owner) was wonderful, he checked us in, even though it was late, gave us good tips on where to eat and to sightsee.

Flushing the toilet was a bit tricky, though the owner did point it out at check in and showed us a trick to make it work.

The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Dermont was an amazing host. He took great care of us. He helped us to navigate our day trips and secured dinner reservations for us at one of the most popular places in Dingle to eat. He was very kind and wanted to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. I would definitely stay there on my next trip to Ireland and will recommend this B & B to others.

I can not think of one thing about our stay that wasn’t excellent.

The Lighthouse offers an exceptional blend of comfort, hospitality, and elegance that truly sets it apart. From the moment my family and I arrived, Dermot greeted us with warmth and genuine friendliness. He was particularly kind to my adult autistic son. The room we stayed in was impeccably clean and incredibly cosy and comfortable. A short walk from town, town, it was also very quiet, so we all enjoyed restful sleep.

Fantastic location walking distance close to beautiful town of Dingle, magic views, oozing character, very friendly and knowledgable staff, very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Only very relatively small issues... no fridge in room and sound can sometime carry through walls. Otherwise many positive factors far away any small negatives. Highly recommend this place and wiill stay there again given the chance 😎
