We were given a lovely welcome by very friendly receptionist. Given all relevant information about where everything was, times that food was available. Very pleased with our first impressions

Service in dining room, we booked a meal for 6 30. Had a good wait before starter order was taken and quite a lot of time before it arrived. Our main course was even longer still. We ordered a dessert and were ready to give up when it arrived. In all we were in dining room over two and a half hours. Another couple beside us were waiting just as long. Staff very apologetic

hotel itself is lovely and we especially liked the pool. there was a good choice for breakfast .

the prices of drinks in the bar were absolutely atrocious as they were extremely overpriced and everyone we spoke to about this agreed with us . The food in the restaurant was ok but not great. The staff were friendly and helpful .The bedroom was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable but the bedroom was very warm with little ventilation even though the windows were open ,there was a fan in the room but made little difference ,air conditioning definitely is needed in the bedrooms .

The hotel itself is beautiful. Reception have professional and polite staff. The pool area is phenomenal and some staff are nice some not...((I don't know the name of the ones who weren't)). Nice Restaurant that has a nice ambience and a nice selection on the menu. Room was a decent size. Beautiful view we had from our room.

Again it does stand out how some of the pool staff were very blunt. A member of the Restaurant staff seemed a bit annoyed when one of our courses wasn't to our liking. We didn't complain, we just smiled and were expecting our plates to be taken away but the staff member was apparently not happy with us. A slightly negative experience considering we are guests but other than that experience the Restaurant itself is lovely and again apart from one of our courses we enjoyed the rest. Overall was more of a enjoyful stay in the end wasn't by any means terrible just some key issues need addressing in my opinion.

Nicely located on the side of a hill on the outskirts of town. Has a country club feel about it. Good reception and check in. Good service and staff. All on one level, spacious clean and welcoming .Comfortable attractive rooms. Small handy snack machine in hall. Attractive and comfortable dining and bar area inside. Also enjoy a meal or maybe a guiness or Irish whisky in the spacious forecourt taking in the sun in the afternoon with distant views beyond the Barrow River A very enjoyable breakfast in separate area inside. A short walk into town by the lower main road or up the slope at the end of hotel driveway and in to town past a small supermarket nice corner shop and along past the three bullet gate, town wall (road) and tower ruin, nice little pub opposite the park and on to the historic St Mays church and Abbey ruins and meander down into town and the wharf area.(most shops closed on Sunday)

Restaurant menu could be more appealing. Would have been great with a roving musician playing some Irish music say violin..say on weekends.

Breakfast fantastic selection and choices fresh hot and extremely tasty .

Late book in at four is quite a long lead in to having room but you can leave luggage and use facilities . Would be nice to see a possible lobby area option to have tea coffee drinks because we landed at half 11am the Sunday bar was closed and no options that we cd see to access a light refreshment now maybe we missed it but reception staff didn’t seem bothered to inform us if there was option just the carvery at 12 which we thoroughly enjoyed as had been travelling since half eight so we were well ready for it .

Hotel is fab, food was great but not a great variety. Kids menu was superb. The hotel room was cleaned spotless. Staff were helpful and lovely.

Adult meals were very expensive and option to have a light meal is impossible. Would love a fruit bowl or stir fry option. After 3 days of being away nice to have different. Room carpet was very wet in places and kinda smelly. Some staff very young.

The staff were exceptional. Kids club was on and my kids loved it. We ate dinner every night, you couldn't eat better. Flavour and quality fantastic again exceptional staff. Friendly and polite and always checking if you need more. Skle the bar manager/restaurant?? She Was brillant. Also the older gentleman in the bar, he was brillant. Couldn't fault any of it. The leisure centre was lovely, again perfect for families, we could mess about and the kids could be kids without having to tell them to be quiet. Buffet breakfast brillant again staff were so on the ball, everything was covered. V ery relaxing time overall. Would definitely recommend for a trip especially if you have a family. Also if your hungry, Complements to the chefs. Food was exception, lunch, dinner and of course breakfast. WE will return. Thank you all.

Pillows and bed were hard. Probably a personnel thing but maybe look into softer pillows. They were hard

We booked Brandon house as wantes somewhere really central to Waterford and Wexford to explore the area and the location was spot on. We were pleasantly surprised how nice hotel Brandon house is and the rooms were spaceous and comfortable. The evening dinner at the hotel bar was delicious and the whole party of 3 adults, one teen and two kids really enjoyed our meal.

Everything else was fantastic, but were surprised that there was no natural yogurt at breakfast and the fruit salad and other heathier options were quite poor. There was premade smoothies and overnight oats, but they didn’t look very appealing and we would have preferred to more simple options.

Anita at check in was an absolute pleasure. She is a credit to and an asset to the hotel. The management should reward her for her excellent demeanour, attention to detail, efficiency, friendliness and her all round helpful attitude. All the bar staff were so friendly no long queues at the bar and so helpful. Breakfast was brilliant, very clean, well run and plenty of choice my 3 children loved it. The fresh omelettes, waffles and fried eggs were excellent and a great addition. Allison who ran breakfast was an absolute lady and again excellent at her job, she couldn't have done anymore for us. Her staff at breakfast were so attentiveabd pleasant. The hotel exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return. The rooms, the pool, sauna and changing rooms were all excellent. Thank you

The only thing I have to complain about was 1 of the cleaning staff who were doing the rooms. She was unhelpful, everything was an issue, I asked for fresh cups in the room she handed me 2 empty cups but hadn't cleaned out any of the dirty dishes which I pointed out to her. She ignored me and I ended up having to take the full tray of dirty dishes from the room to the bar myself. She was both rude and unhelpful.

Best breakfast selection I've seen in any hotel ive stayed in in Ireland. Cud not find any fault at all. Olga on reception went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Our waiter John in the bar at dinnertime was exceptional!

If I had to pick something to be looked at..is to make sure when hiring staff that they can speak fluent English especially if it's customers first time in the spa. Also for staff in spa to make sure that they offer glass of water at end of treatment as a kind gesture .
