This was perfect for the early ferry the next morning. The room was well decorated and spacious. We had done a lot of driving so we needed a good sleep - the beds were very comfy and we had a great sleep which set us up for further travelling. We felt pampered. The staff were welcoming and informative. Prior to our arrival we had dinner at the nearby Kilrane Inn - the food was excellent as usual and the staff were friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend Tuskar House and the Kilrane Inn - 5 stars

Nothing.

The location was just perfect - a 3 minute drive from the ferry at Rosslare. A huge, free car park and the owner was waiting at the door for me as I pulled up. The place was lovely, spacious, well decorated, clean and warm. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was superb. The free wi-fi was excellent. Breakfast was a delight and cooked fresh to order. I can not fault this property and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a superb, comfortable stay near to Rosslare Port. There was even a lounge for Guests use just off the dining room and there is a lovely patio with outside seating when weather permits.

This was booked last minute for family visiting Ireland that had a ferry cancelled due to weather. The property was excellent. Really clean and comfortable. They only stayed there for one night due to a delay with the ferry but they have said they would most definitely stay again. Didn’t have chance to experience food because of an early ferry time but overall would definitely recommend this place.

The downside was the TV didn’t work in the room. They could only get one channel and the volume didn’t work on it either. As they only had a quick turnaround with one overnight stay it wasn’t too much of an issue.

I loved the decor and cleanliness of the guest house. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom facilities are exceptional. The location is perfect to break up the long trip driving from Kent to the West of Ireland.

We purchased breakfast on arrival for the following morning and after a long 5-hour drive were not offered a cuppa before having to pre-order our breakfast which actually is necessary due to the short time we had before departing for an early ferry the next morning. I did explain that I was ordering for my elderly parents and had to run backward and forward to choose drinks, cooked breakfast, and bread or toast etc. This was frustrating again after a very long drive. When breakfast arrived in the morning it did not look appetising. The ordering process is necessary for early ferries but it was untimely and the breakfast was poor. The host did check in on us in the morning but the breakfast was 6/10. Would not purchase again.

Spacious and clean room. Enormous wardrobe space and a lot of care has clearly gone into anticipating the guests’ needs (local doctor phone number etc.) I’m mentioning clean again because I can’t remember the last place I stayed that was so immaculate. Not a dust speck on the coffee podium, not a dishwasher scratch on the cups. Welcome was friendly and we were well orientated. 1 min away from the harbour. Fleeting but lovely stay overall. We will be returning.

Slight mould in the grouting in the shower but you’re hard pressed not to find this everywhere tbh. Everything else was impeccably clean.

very convenient for the ferry at Rosslare. we stayed on our return journey rather than driving home late in the evening. Very welcoming. We had a large family room. an extra bed was provided in case we needed it. Room was absolutely spotless. Very comfortable. fantastic shower , tea and coffee facilities (and a little pack of biscuits, was a nice touch!) Ample parking.

option for breakfast was confusing. it said at booking that breakfast available at sister hotel , however we could see a small breakfast room was set up for dining. if an option even for a continental breakfast had been available it would have been useful to know. as we had a young child. but it wasn’t a huge issue. everything else was great.

I traveled with my 2 daughters and we loved the space in the room (lots for suitcase). Big and comfortable bathroom with amazing shower!!! Really comfy beds. We loved outside patio and greenery so girls could have a lovely playtime and practice theirs gymnastics skills. Amazin lady Christine who was in charge of our stay was really nice warm and helpful! Together with her husband made sure we had everything we needed! Such a lovely stay , I really enjoyed it and definitely will be back. Just like going away for a weekend to our auntie;) Breakfast was delicious ,pancakes with Nutella, my girls were spoiled 🙂 I could enjoy my coffee in a Beautifull sun room where I found space to meditate! We absolutely loved every single minute of our stay. ❤️

I couldn’t find one thing i could complain… all was beautiful ❤️

Very spacious and comfortable. They kindly facilitated my late arrival (the ferry arrival time was later than planned). Great café for breakfast a few minutes away on foot. In general, it exceeded my expectations.

Just a couple of minor things needed fixing: bathroom shelf was bent and unusable. The toilet flusher pops out when pressed. They're insignificant, but considering the very expensive accommodation in Ireland these days, there's no excuse for even the slightest problem left unrepaired.

very spacious rooms, good bathroom size. Tea and coffee making available in room. Bed a good size, not massive and not small Mand comfortable. it had a lovely view over the port and the sea. Easy access to the cliff top path with a nice walk.

The shower temperature was difficult to achieve. either scolding or cold. needed careful adjusting. no breakfast included but available in sister property. evening meals could be taken in other hotels or a local chip shop which closed at 8pm!!!

This is the best place to stay overnight if you are taking the ferry. It is very close, really quiet, staff is very helpful and used to the shenanigans of the fery companies so if your ferry is uber delayed they will still acomodate you, evne if you arrive at 2am in the morning. I had to leave in the early morning, so I cnanot speak for breakfast but it seems like a relaly nice, cosy place.
