The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The location is perfect, near the old city walls and near the "First Station" with lots of restaurants and amusements for kids. The pool was also great.

The room was not very clean, i mean it was preppped and ready, but the floors had marks on them, and the bathroom floor had some hair on it, and the toilet you could see was smeared and not clean. We requested the room to be cleaned again. The hotel is a little expensive IMHO

The service from all of the staff was top tier. Breakfast was excellent . The Restaurants are high quality and the afternoon soup festival (open buffet of delicious soups and breads) was superb! The huge outdoor pool has a tent enclosure for use in the winter- which was a pleasant surprise.

Hotel needs new carpeting. The gym has good equipment, but the space is limited. Gym and spa level need an update.

The best 5 star service never had in Israel, in Dan, King David or Royal Beach. Never seen this level of service elswhere. I want to highlight this point which is so important in my views. From receptionist to concierge, waiters in the restaurant and in the room service, this is a real 5 stars service. A week ago I was staying at King David hotel in Jerusalem where the service just does not exist for a crazy price. Besides, definitely one of the best breakfast I have ever had in Israel with so much choices and so well organized. Loved to receive the newspaper every morning on my door. Well done. Rooms service: excellent with an excellent service again Pool: really nice with a good restaurant and gym area. Liked it a lot. Situation: just perfect... In front of Yamin Moshe and close to Mamilla. Family Room: spatious with lots of space and pleasant balcony The price: this is a really good price for what you get.

To improve The cleaning service in rooms is definitely bad, and has to be improved. I think it is quiet easy to improve to be franc. The current one is not really cleaning but more replacing towels and adding soaps, and slightly clean. Not enough at all. My room 878 was a bit old, the entrance door is difficult to close well, we hear people walking, the door in the showe is dangerous, also there were a dangerous threshold bar broken between the living room and the room. I would encourage the reception to propose a better room by paying more for example, I would have paid. Nothing else to add except next time I I'll come to your hotel not for 3 days but for a week!

beautiful setting and very well presented.

Total mix up re breakfasts. I booked on line with Bookings.com where it said optional breakfast but nowhere to book this meal. I messaged the hotel and ordered breakfast. I was told I can't because the room I ordered (executive!!) doesn't come with breakfast. I said I have no problem paying for breakfast. I didn't receive any response re breakfast. I came nevertheless and was told that I had to pay 550 shekels for two breakfasts (my wife and myself)[This was the first hotel for many years that I have stayed in that didn't include breakfast in its price!!!]. I paid what I thought was an extravagant price for breakfasts. When we came down for breakfast I was told we hadn't paid!!! (I had - checking in!].

The breakfast was great and had everything. My family had everything they wanted and more.

The last day, did not like that after paying the bill for the rooms with my MC, the authorization charge remained for more than 3 days but was eventually released and the room bills correctly placed.

Breakfast food was excellent choice. We ate in the hotel Friday night . The food was fantastic but service by waiters was poor. Very quick to remove your plates even though hadn't finished. However would leave plates piled high on other tables. Big mention for Osama who was very helpful on all occasions.

At breakfast , the staff serving were miserable . Lots of managers in suits doing nothing or playing on their mobile phones . Had 2 people on reception to take your room number but didn't escort you to a table. They just allowed to to wander in. Also unsure why coffee had to be available in paper cups. Not really 5 star !

the hotel is very nice rooms spacious clean and comfortable

the pool area is very messy and dirty it is not kept clean during the day it would be helpful to remind residents to put their rubbish in bins. it would be helpful to have bins around to enable guests to dispose of garbage but it would also be helpful to have staff clear left over food from around the pool which attracts lots of flies. not pleasant at all to sit at pool given very low level of maintenance during pool opening hours

Bathroom very small. check in at 15h00 is very late. Most international flights land earlier in the morning and people need access to bedrooms and bathrooms by 12h00 latest

Consieurs were helpful. It had everything we needed. The pool was fantastic. Location was excellent. We liked the bottled water was included and they came to provide fresh towels in the evening.

Some of the chairs in our room were worn and dirty.

Location and staff

My booking through booking.com wasn’t the room I received. The room description on booking.com doesn’t exist. However the hotel did its best to accommodate. I was suppose to receive a 2 bedroom suite with view of the pool. I instead received (2) adjoining rooms. No living room
