This place is great! We went with family (kids from 8-17 years) and it was a perfect fit for us. We had finished a tour of Israel and wanted to experience Tel Aviv at the end of our trip. We were not disappointed in the hostel or the city. If you don't mind walking, the hostel is a reasonable distance to the beach as well as Jaffa and plenty of restaurants are in the area. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and spotless! There was even an espresso maker in one of our rooms (nice touch!) There is a good-sized common area on the 5th floor with coffee/tea/water and an area to sit and read or talk. We thought there was a patio/balcony area but this turned out to be only for the suite on the 5th floor. You will get a voucher for tasty breakfast that includes a pastry or sandwich and a drink. The area where the hostel is located is a little gritty and edgy but we did not feel unsafe. Also, it’s a bit noisy at night due to the local nightlife but it didn't keep us from sleeping well. If you are sensitive to that, I'm sure you could ask for a room toward the back of the hotel. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

After our original hotel cancelled on us a couple weeks before arrival we needed to find a place for 5 of us to crash after a late flight (landed at midnight). It was a great price with everyone in one room on bunk beds only 30min from the airport and close to old Jaffa, the port and beach that we wanted to explore. They confirmed our 1am check in promptly and that we’d get a private room for our family. The bunk beds were surprisingly spacious and comfortable and the kids thought it was all in great fun seeing us adults in them too. Air con worked great, nice little balcony, quiet at the rear and the shutters were really light proof so we could lay in and get some sleep after our late arrival. Breakfast vouchers for the cafe across the road were perfect (they did great coffee with a selection of milks). Staff super friendly from checking in, storing our luggage, tips on places to visit, helping us get taxis to the station and advising the best way to travel to Jerusalem. Would def recommend.

If you are looking for a great place to stay in Tel Aviv, look no more. Florentin House is wonderful. One of the best priced hotels in the location and great value for money. All staff are friendly, hospitable and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the bed and pillows super comfortable. Trendy, bohemian street with chic cafes and varied eateries. I really appreciated the breakfast voucher for the cafe across the road. It was free - I did not have breakfast included with my booking but had a courtesy coffee and sandwich each morning. I also liked the free tea and coffee facilities on the 5th floor and the kitchen available to guests to make sandwiches etc. Air con was quiet and efficient; shower always had hot water. The hotel was also always nice and quiet. Easy 15 minute walk to the historic old city center and beaches. It really was a great place to stay.

I can't think of anything critical to say about this hotel. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The location is in the old town, only about 18 minutes' walk from Jaffa's old town and the beach, and only two stops by bus. The gardens and harbor of Old Jaffa are great places to watch the sunset. The hotel is located on a bar street with many cafes. The advantage is that it is very convenient to eat, but it also has a disadvantage.The hotel provides free sandwich breakfast (light meal) in the cafe opposite. Of course, if you prefer English or American breakfast, you can purchase it separately.

Because the hotel is located on a bar street with many cafes, it is a bit noisy at night, which may be a problem if you have trouble sleeping.

I came with my wife to celebrate valentine's day and the hotel has exceeded my expectations. The staff was helpful and super nice, the room and public areas were spotless and the bed was very comfy. There is no TV in the room, but it was missed. There is a common kitchen in the rooftop floor with a fridge and a coffee corner, and even a complementary breakfast voucher to a cute cafe across the street. Really nice and cozy place in the heart of Florentine with excellent value for money.

It was perfect

Room is clean, sufficient lights in the room. The room we stayed comes with a balcony overseeing the main road. It's pretty cool that the room comes with automated stainless steel blind at the glass doors access/exit to balcony, I believe this is for safety reason. Beds are comfortable with blankets. Extra pillows are available in the cabinet. Hangers are provided. Bathroom is clean, with bath tub, it has only 3-in1 head-to-toe gel soap, but it's moisturized. There are 2 basins which were really helpful for four of us. Hairdryer is available from the front desk. Sufficient power socket/points on the wall for us to charge our handphones and laptops. There's space for storage of our baggage prior to check-in. There's coffee capsule and coffee machine in the room :). We were offered complimentary breakfast at a Cafe just across the Florentin House. We were very grateful!

We are happy with the accommodation, except for accommodation does not provide daily bottled drinking water for guests and toilet only has 3-in-1 gel soap available. Perhaps this is the same for all other hotels locally, we bought mineral water and good that we also brought along our toothbrush and other toiletries with us. Also if you used to wear bathroom sandals, you need to bring your own as there isn't any sandals in the room for guests. Since we also brought along ours, we did not ask/clarify at the front desk.

The staff was very generous and nice, very welcoming. The room was very big and beautiful they did an amazing job with the designing. The kitchen at the roof was very cozy and homey we felt like we never left our houses. Overall a very nice place I would definitely recommend and go back.

The bath was a bit dirty but nothing to complain because everything else was super.

The rooms we booked were big and clean. The location was nice as we were specifically looking for something not right in the center of Tel Aviv. Very funky arty scene in the area. Lots of bars and restaurants. Walking distance to the Tachana Rishona and Jaffa and Neve Tzedek. It was also easy to drive to without getting stick in Tel Aviv traffic. It was in the heart of the graffit area which is fascinating and fun to explore.

Parking was expensive. The fridge in our room was tiny and didn't work well. No TV in our family room but there was 1 in the double room. The night life on the streets outside sometimes could be heard from the rooms (depending on which room you get)

Fantastic location, super friendly and helpful staff and really nice facilities. Being right in the middle of Florentin meant that we could literally walk out of the hotel and had a host of great restaurant, bar and cafe options right there. The beaches are also a 15-20 minute walk away (we spent quite a bit of time at Alma Beach). Rooms were very nice and spacious, during our second stay we had a balcony overlooking Florentin Street which was really nice. Breakfast across the road at Kasba Cafe was an added bonus included in our booking. We also ate at Kasba twice for dinner and the food was great and service really good and friendly. Kitchen upstairs at Florentin House was a good facility for storing food, making extra coffees, refilling water, etc.

Convenient location to Tel Aviv central bus station. Comfortable bed, clean room, clean ensuite. A great place to stay if you're looking for a basic bed and bathroom. Friendly, helpful staff, great location in a funky area of Tel Aviv, clean and modern, really comfy mattress. But don't expect anything too flash. No in-room tea and coffee, no hairdryer, no iron, no fridge, you get the picture.

No extras - no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. No fridge. Nothing except the bed and bathroom.
