The location was very convenient to access the 400 and the city. The breakfast was very good, fresh and good choice of options. The beds, pillows and bedding very, very comfortable and I am picky about that. The room was a good size and I was impressed with the quiet air conditioner and precise control.

The floor had a wet spot near the patio door. Not sure if that was from carpet cleaning or a leaky air conditioner. There is one pet peeve of of mine and it is the location of the body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. They are always located too high to access especially for children.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, including the king size bed.. My partner took breakfast both days while I only one day. There was a good variety of food and beverages whether one preferred a substantial breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoe fries or something lighter like oatmeal and toast.

Our room faced Hart Drive and Dunlop and the noise of the traffice, especially from trucks turning off the 400 ramp onto Dunlop kept us awak most of the night. Next time we will request a room overlooking the parking area at the rear of the building. The breakfast area was lacking a microwave to reheat food which was often cold by the time we were able to sit at a table.

I love the location and amenities of this hotel. Plus the breakfast was good.

When I arrived, I was not being welcomed right away. It took like 20 more minutes because the receptionist had another guest on the phone. But still, there should have been another person at the reception. There was but he did not check me in too because he was also busy on the phone.

My overall experience was fantastic! I will definitely be booking with Best Western Barrie again. The breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated that the food was always replenished. The kitchen staff were very kind and ensured everything ran smoothly. The parking was excellent, with plenty of space even during the busy holiday season. The only downside was the noise from kids running in the hallway, but that's to be expected with children around. 10/10 highly recommend

Very nice spacious rooms and well cleaned

We had problem with heating. We had suite with two separate bedrooms. Heating worked only in main bedroom which made the other rather cold and uncomfortable. Also I could not get sophisticated keuring coffee machine to produce any coffee. Less automation less problems. Simple old fashioned filter coffee makers always worked.

The room size was good, staff at the reception were very polite and friendly, breakfast was excellent with many choices, the location was convenient, the room was fairly clean and comfortable,

The vending machines were almost empty, the coffee maker in the room wasn't working, the TV was not set up correctly, many channels had images kind of flattened, the air conditioning was very noisy when it was running

They had a room available for us! The pool was also great. The staff that prepared breakfast was awesome! They were wonderful ladies.

The elevator system was a joke. It felt over priced for what we got. Smart tvs would be great so that we can watch something other than cable options. The beds were terribly uncomfortable.

The lack of a bar/restaurant after a long drive was a shame. However we were aware of this before booking so it did not detract from our enjoyment of the stay

I was greeted by Brittany, she was fantastic,there was a mistake made on my room, but took care of it in a timely manner. Her customer service was second to none. My company gives 150% customer service, so when I travel, and I receive customer service at that level,I have to let the company know. Arlene the manager was top notch, I had to have a fax sent for my business and she took care of it, plus I was having problems with the internet, she rectified it immediately. I definitely intend to stay at This Best Western again. Unfortunately being I just got out of the hospital, I couldn't use any of the amenities but my sons and their girlfriend and my wife were over joked. I Recommend highly for anybody looking for a place to stay for business, to definitely stay here.

Staff welcomed us. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. When some things ran out, they were replenished quickly and kindly on request. Excellent and helpful breakfast staff person. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. We did not hear road noise. The in-room coffee supplies were excellent, and decaf was included.

Pool hours ended as we arrived. We did arrive fairly late in the evening due to travel times. Another hour added to pool time would be nice, but I understand why the hotel limits hours.
