I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel in Freiburg, and I can’t recommend it enough. From the warm welcome at check-in to the seamless departure, every moment was exceptional. The **location** is ideal—just a short walk from the historic city center, making it easy to explore Freiburg’s charm on foot. Despite being close to the action, the hotel is nestled in a peaceful area, offering a perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. The **rooms** are spacious, spotlessly clean, and elegantly decorated. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and thoughtful touches like a well-stocked minibar and fast Wi-Fi made the stay even more enjoyable. The view from the window was simply breathtaking—a picture-perfect scene! Breakfast was a real highlight. The **buffet** featured a wide variety of fresh, locally-sourced options, providing the perfect start to the day. The restaurant staff were always courteous, attentive, and eager to ensure everything was just right. What truly set this hotel apart was the **staff**: professional, friendly, and always ready with helpful tips for exploring the city and nearby attractions. Their genuine dedication to making guests feel at home was evident throughout my stay. The **additional amenities**, such as a cozy spa and private parking, added a layer of convenience and luxury. It’s rare to find a hotel that strikes such a perfect balance between comfort, elegance, and outstanding service. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Freiburg. Extremely friendly staff, very well maintained hotel. Amenities are great, shower with high water force. Very spacious room. Car parking underneath hotel, feels very safe. Public transport is a heartbeat away, tram into Freiburg very easy, multiple options. Area around hotel doesn't feel like one of those industrial areas, pretty rural and relax. Value for money-wise, I don't think one can expect much more.

No major issues, just some very small things that would not prevent me from booking again. The AC worked, and it cooled the room, it was not the fastest AC I encountered. Could've been improved. The beds were only singles, but I could connect them with a hook underneath. The car park is not bookable in advance, yet it seemed very big and many spaces were open when we arrived

Room was clean and relatively new. what is missing in some new locations like this is closet space to stuff your clothes, for one night ok for more nights not so. The AC cuts off when you open the window very good feature, at night the AC was too loud for me and I like fresh air so opened the window. the area is quiet. the garage is under the hotel

I would have liked a bit more space but for one night this was fine. the toiletseat was loose which happens a lot, I hate this, I think when it is cleaned daily this should be notices by personel and be corrected.

The room was very comfortable and spacious. Perfect for a couple of friends. The location is perfect as it is 5 min walk to the tram station that brings you directly to the city centre.

One of the nights the fire alarm went off, and we had to stay outside in the cold for about 30 minutes until the firefighters stopped the alarm. No information was given to us about what happened. It would be nice to receive a message with a short explanation and apologising for the inconvenience.

Good pricing, the room was very clean for this type of hotel. Alot better than most hotels for this price. Also looks modern and nice. Perfect for a night if you go to Italy the next day. Parking was €15 per day direct under the hotel and guarded. Its a plus in this case.

The airco didnt work when it was 30 degrees outside Breakfast was meh, the food was a bit tasteless. The beds were not that comfortable, but for this price and only one night its okay, but for more night i wouldnt recommend

We are a couple in our 20s. We like to travel with comfort but we don't have money yet for 5 star hotels. This hotel doesn't have any dirt, mold, and insects. This hotel is perfect and I do not see any reason to pay for a more expensive hotel in Freiburg. It is modern, exceptionally clean, and the breakfast is a buffet (шведский стол) with eggs, plenty of bacon, porridges, fruit, berries, you can eat it and get full for the whole day! It's not like in Sea resorts, but it's quite big compared to other hotels (I mostly travel in France)

It's not a disadvantage. Actually it is an advantage for a couple. In our room the wall between the shower and bed is transparent with a bit of blurry "censorship". It can be quite cringe for those who are not OK when everyone else in a room can see you in a bathroom and shower room

If you are looking for a comfortable and quiet place to stop and rest when visiting Friburg, book a room at this hotel. The building is new and the room inside was very big, with a wide bathroom and everything was clean. Comfortable bed and quiet room. Advice: try to find a parking outside if you are arriving by car. From 19 to 9 you don't have nor to pay nor to move the car after two hours. Parking indoor costs 18 euros.

The room and bathroom were clean and had plenty of light. Check in went quick and with no hassle. There are some nice dining options nearby, we recommend restaurant die kantina.

The mattress was quite hard and the TV only supported casting using some outdated Samsung app. The lack of on-site parking is annoying but manageable. In the morning, we received a wake-up call for another room and when I mentioned they had the wrong room they immediately hung up without apology. Finally, the AC in the room was set quite aggressively and every time we changed the setting to be quieter, it reset back to default after a few minutes.

We had a fantastic stay at Super 8. The staff was welcoming, and check-in was a breeze. The room was clean and well-equipped with modern amenities. The hotel's in a calm area with many facilities around, including supermarkets and restaurants. It is also near public transportation stops, which made exploring the city easy. I highly recommend Super8 for a great stay.

The room had no fridge, which was an inconvenient for us. The hotel location was a bit far from the Innenstad, so we had to rely on the public transportation to commute. For a short trip, it is not a problem, but might become an inconvenience for longer stays.

very clean, modern, affordable hotel. the rooms are small and similar to cabins in ships. no cupboards in the room but a table to sit on and some well designed shelving on the walls. the staff was very helpful, the breakfast was very good. the location was in a newly built area of Freiburg (Gueterbahnhof) but reached the tram to the center (4 min walking distance, drive about 5-10 min to centre). There is an underground parking lot in the same building but if this is full you should be able to park outside on the road.
