Convenient location, rooms are spacious and clean with very large comfortable beds. Check-in is easy, and there’s plenty of free parking too. An easy walk to the large nearby superstores.

The breakfast items such as croissants , floury baps, muffins, fruit, aren’t replenished so by 9am you’re left with just the hot buffet which has the worst scrambled eggs I’ve ever eaten, oily sausages and hard, dry bacon. There’s not much fruit left either, so be early, or go hungry, as I have seen fellow guests load up and take away the muffins and fruit for their lunch. It’s very disappointing.

Staff were polite and helpful. We booked a room for 3 adults and were only provided with two towels and two cups. One call to reception and 5 minutes later the problem was resolved. Breakfast was great, plenty to chose from. Overall a comfortable stay.

That we had to call for a cup and towel. If you book for three adults this should be taken into consideration when preparing the room. When sorting the above issue we mentioned the crack in the top of the kettle. Reception stated they would notify housekeeping, however, the kettle was never changed during our stay. All in all very minor things.

We booked a family room for three adults for one night. The room was clean, comfortable and I got a good night's sleep on the sofa bed. Tea and coffee provided in the room. Nice big, accessible shower with shower gel and shampoo provided. I forgot toothbrush and toothpaste which was provided when I asked for it at the front desk. The staff were friendly and reported the faulty EV charger. I had booked the hotel because it had EV charging but just had to charge elsewhere. There is a charger at the McDonalds nearby which the staff told me about Breakfast was really good with a choice of cereals, fruits, yoghurt, porridge and cooked breakfast. There is a huge retail park next to the hotel with a Next, huge M&S and TK Maxx along with other shops which was also handy. 10 mins drive into St Alban's which is where we drove to for dinner.

Nothing. The EV charger not working was a bit of an inconvenience but not too much of a problem.

First contact at reception was a pleasure. Deon was on the ball and had a good personality for the job.Cooked breakfast was a nice surprise as well as a snack and drink to go. Room was fine. Good shower. Comfortable beds and pillows albeit quite warm. TV channels were a bit limited. Plug in bathroom sink doesn't hold water. Very clean and a new feel. I know this isa bit OCD but whilst the first I.pressions of the breakfast area were nice, I couldn't help noticing that the table bases were mucky

Finding the M25 to go to Heathrow from the hotel! Not your fault, I realise. The parking ticket said use the payment but that wasn't needed. Scummy tea when made in the room. Again not directly your fault but the tap water is hards and makes a horrible scum with the in-room tea making. Maybe some filtered or bottled water would be nice?

Room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The booking in guy helped my daughter with the luggage as I am disabled. The room was well equipped with iron and ironing board, hairdryer etc. The only drawback was lack of surface area for toiletries/ makeup, and lack of drawers and bedside tables.

The breakfast area was badly designed, there was no place to put your tray down while you got coffee, toast, and cereal etc. The hot food was awful, the sausages were very cheap frozen ones, I think the scrambled eggs were powdered as the texture and taste was nothing like real eggs, the bacon was tough as shoe leather.

Easy to find, good sized car park with disabled and electric spaces. Room a decent size. Comfortable beds, good shower. Breakfast better than I anticu3-more choice if hot and cold with good selection of drinks.

No drawers at all in the room, (not even a bedside drawer) there was one little shelf at the top of the hanging wardrobe so nowhere really for underwear/socks. Glad it was only 2 nights as storage wasn't great. There was just a very narrow shelf under the TV. This was the 'dressing table', but it had hardly any room for any belongings. Just about fitted keys next to the kettle and that was all there was room for. No instructions for heating/aircon.

Down to earth, straight forward hotel. Well located just off motorway, near shopping centre. Everything we needed even though it was budget. What made it exceptional for us was the kind, customer focused staff , who went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. The assistant manager ( I think) was really lovely she made sure our stay was perfect and went above and beyond expectations. Breakfast was great and included in the price.

We really liked three main aspects; The breakfast was really good, The bathroom facilities was really good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Had really strong wifi and a tv set full of various channels.

We noticed a lot of stains on the carpet in our room, which lead us to believe the room is not being cleaned as properly as it should be. Also, on a different note. Perhaps the hotel can think in the future to add some amenities such as; A pool or a sauna or something extra to keep guests entered as there are much things to do in St. Albans, especially when it's raining.

The beds the comfort the room the ease of access looks so beautiful and clean. Would highly recommend.

Coming back from a holiday where hotel staff greet you with a smile, was something that lacked here for sure. I was quite surprised to be honest as I stay in a lot of hotels and team are usually very friendly. Just a small criticism as the hotel is exceptional. The breakfast was nice as they had pancake makers which was very cool, but lacked vegetarian sausages which was a small criticism. .

Family trip to Harry Potter and London. The location was easy to get to from Luton Airport with a car rental. Travel to Warner Brothers Studio was easy. We drove to St Albins train station and got a family travelcard for all day use. Breakfast food choice was good, sausages were excellent (my son's favourite). Space tight for a family of 5, ideal for a couple. Check in and out was pleasant and easy.

As a family of 5, we booked 2 rooms were across from each other. The 2nd bed in each room was a double sofa bed, so there was little room for moving about. This wasn't an issue as we were out from all day until about 9pm on the nights we stayed.
