This is probably the best hotel experience I had. The hotel decoration is very modern, staffs are very friendly. It's very clean, and very environmentally friendly. All lights are LED, the shampoo, conditioner, etc are all in nice containers which avoids all those little plastic bottles. It also has drinking fountain in the hallway to reduce plastic water bottles as well. Facilities such as games, nice chairs, pool tables, and even the bulletin board, all give a warm and welcoming feel. Highly recommended.

The food choices were excellent for a continental breakfast. The location was great, it was very easy to get to downtown Charleston and other attractions. All the staff were friendly and made our stay very pleasant. Loved the lobby with the different seating areas. It didn't take long at all to get hot water in the shower and sink. The trash cans had a section for recycling.

There wasn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom or a microwave in the room (had to use the one in the lobby).We did have a hard time adjusting to having coat hooks on the wall and a small place for hanging clothes above the fridge rather than a regular closet area for our clothing. The room and furnishings seemed a little smaller than at other motels and there wasn't any furniture with drawers. All these things were minor adjustments and didn't hinder us from enjoying our stay.

I really enjoyed the location it was safe and so many things to do around. The hotel was clean and actually fun for kids with games downstairs and pool table. The housekeeping ladies where very lovely as well. But one person who deserves to be like employee of the month definitely is Kreston, he is at a front desk. He is just an amazing person so positive, happy, helpful. More people should be out there like him 🙏

I think the only thing would be breakfast. There should be definitely more healthy choices like some greens like tommato and cucumber. Even the yogurt that they had was so full of sugar.

We are snowbirds traveling south to our FL winter home. We just wanted a clean, safe, inexpensive place to rest our heads overnight. Tru was so much more and a terrific value. We didn't use the fitness center but thought it was very nice. The staff was really nice, and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Also, we had a pleasant, easy, inexpensive dinner at Ye OleFashioned Ice Cream Cafe, a mile or so away. Mmmmm! We would definitely stay here again.

We couldn't figure out how to make the TV work properly. A page of simple instructions would help.

Loved the location as it was more private, off the main path and surrounded by trees, yet still convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. Hotel appeared new and clean with a nice pool, gym and lobby with a pool table and cute lounge areas. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good continental breakfast.

Would have liked to have had a small microwave in the hotel room to warm up restaurant leftovers. We used the microwave in the lobby at the check-in desk, but it would have been much nicer not to have to carry your food downstairs to warm and back up, especially later at night. The pool was nice, with palm trees around it, but it was closed one day when we wanted to use it. We understand that this was likely due to being chemically treated or cleaned, just disappointing.

Great options for a quick breakfast, nice areas throughout the lobby that offer a variety of seating options, ample parking with easy access into and out of the parking lot with easy access to the interstate as well. There's a pool table in the lobby, a small business center and snacks that can be purchased. Close to the lobby is a gym. I believe this location has an outdoor pool, but I didn't get the chance to use it. My room was comfortably sized and the mattress was a perfect blend of firm and soft. Room shades offer excellent room darkening. I like a cold room and the AC held the room temp exactly where I had it set. LOTS of outlets and ports for charging electronics. My room had a large tv and plenty of stations to view. The building smells inviting and soothing and I felt entirely safe during my stay.

My ONLY complaint was the lack of a microwave and a coffee maker in my room. With everything else being so perfect, it disappointed me to lack the ability to heat leftovers or microwave a home-cooked meal.

The location was perfect since my wife needed to be at the medical facility across the street early the following morning. The price for our room was very reasonable. I felt that someone finally looked closely at practicalities in these economy hotels and didn't waste money on useless things.

I guess we really can't expect too much in the way of a free breakfast, so I'll only say one thing. I'm not a fan of those premade omelettes or turkey sausage. I'm also not a fussy eater, so when I'm hungry I eat what's in front of me.

It is a new, clean hotel; it is pleasant to be in your room; the room, bathroom, hallways, and elevators were clean. Complimentary tea and coffee are available all the time. This was a very nice touch

The breakfast was okay, just like any other average American hotel; everything was too sweet and made from white flour. Why is there no plain yogurt or granola that is not so sweet? Or at least one kind of decent artisan bread? I am a healthy eater, and I travel a lot in Europe. I was very thrilled with the cleanliness, but the food could be better.

Location was super--an easy drive to the tennis tournament in Daniel Island we came to see. Breakfast was excellent, very good choices for this type of lodging experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Traffic noise from the busy street was a bit problematic at some parts of the day. Ice is only available on the main floor. The TV has kind of a strange guide that you need to click through on every use--would like to see a controller with numbers where you can go straight to the channels you want.

Great place!

Zoey was at the desk when we arrived and checked us in. She was also the person ho had answered the phone when we called before our three hour trip asking if they had bar. (We didn't know if we needed to BYOB) She replied they had libations and a pool table and they could add hay and smoke to make it a bar. I asked if they had alcohol besides beer and wine and she repeated libations and we were immediately disconnected. When we arrived I told her about our conversation and her reply was "I've never used that word in a sentence." She then told me somebody didn't get the joke. There are other places nearby fir our next tip this month.
