The place was comfortable, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The place where it is established is very quiet, relaxed, and clean. Breakfast was delicious 😋 and has a lot of variety. When we arrived at reception, the person who welcomed us was very friendly and gave us some bottles of water. The lady in the kitchen helped us with the waffle maker, she had everything very clean and with food made instantly she was very kind. When we checked out, the receptionist kindly asked me if I needed a copy of my stay and thanked me for staying with them. We did not have the pleasure of using the pool, but we will definitely return to enjoy the entire establishment. Thank you!! 🙏

The only thing I didn't like was that the thick curtains didn't close completely and some light came in at night, since we are used to sleeping without light. Or excuse me if I didn't know how to close them, but everything else was very good and comfortable. thank you very much 😊!

We had trouble getting in our room. Apparently the scanner on the door needed a new battery. We were told that there was no one that could do that over the weekend so they used a charger on it which was a temporary fix. The 2nd day-same problem but the guy at the front desk would not listen to my daughter when she she told him what the problem was & how to fix it. I’m assuming that he treated her like that because she was a young (28) female! The staff on the other days knew exactly what to do or they just gave her the charger to do it. Luckily that was our only problem but it was very annoying! I can’t believe that there wasn’t someone that could’ve fixed it.

We liked the breakfast and location. Very convenient to get to anywhere we needed to. There were plenty shopping and dining opportunities nearby. The pool was not as cold as other hotel pools we've been in but still could have been a little more heated. Rooms were quiet and had dark out curtains. It did not feel too crowded. The fitness room was fantastic. I haven't seen a better equipment selection in a hotel before.

I didn't like that there was a $50 deposit charged to our account that wasn't communicated upfront. Even though it's refundable, it still throws our finances off for awhile until that comes back, which we were told would be 3-5 business days. Not everyone is made out of money. Cleanliness was ok but there was a stain on one of the sofa cushions that we found when we pulled out the sofa bed.

Overall, this place is excellent and a very good value. The room was well appointed, clean, and everything in the room worked - the TV had a lot of channels included. The hotel seemed new and well maintained. I really couldn't ask for more. As a bonus, the breakfast was very good, and the coffee was first rate (which I never have expectations for this type of hotel)

The pool was closed during my stay, but I didn't really plan on using it. The hotel is next to a large mall, which is normally a good thing, but not on black Friday. The downside is so small compared to the overall quality of the hotel.

I really liked how we had a digital key and we went straight to our room. I loved that Breakfast was included but it was just okay to me. The turkey sausage didn't taste fully cooked and the eggs were a bit watery. The room was very clean but our fridge didn't seem cold enough, we had to get a bucket of ice to put our drinks in. The view from our room was not too bad, no complaints about that. The room was big enough, with comfy beds, and cozy blankets. :) I loved the location, very close to Woodfield Mall, about a 4-minute drive. This is my second time staying at this hotel.

I requested a late checkout, which they gave me until 12:30, which was fine, what I didn't like was that housekeeping knocked on our door not once but twice while we were sleeping. The first lady knocked and since we were sleeping, we didn't hear the knocking right away, she opened the door and said, "Housekeeping" in a loud voice. The second time was a male, he did the same thing. They should've waited until we checked out instead of waking us up.

Everyone I interacted with, no matter what time of day, gave me sincere attention. The breakfast spaces are never crowded (food spaces and seating spaces). The elevators are never unkept or u working (big plus here, believe it or not!). I never had to worry about key cards not working, and the nights were as quiet as can be.

I can't really say anything was not to be liked.

The staff at the hotel was very cuirtious and helpful and did their best to answer any questions we had. The facility was nice and clean and would recommend staying at this location on your next trip to this area.

Somehow they had issues with the WiFi for about two days while we were there so it made working in the room a little difficult. But once it was taken care of, everything was smooth.

The location of the property is centrally located. Excellent choice of restaurant locations. Helpful and friendly front desk staff. The room was perfect for a physically challenged guest. Finding a hotel with a room that can accomodate the limitations of a physically challenged is difficult. The room was designed with large open spaces, large entry doors and a shower that was designed to assist a challenged guest. The Hampton Inn checked all the boxes to make the stay an easy experience.

I was there with my wife. We liked being near the mall, and to several restaurants and bar. Close to major freeways and tollways. Our room was nice and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. Staff members were friendly. Plenty of parking. We have been here several times.

The Hampton Inn in Bloomington-Normal made free coffee and tea available in the evenings. We missed that.

Breakfast was much better than I'd expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was really good for attending the convention centre. I'd stay there again!

Couldn't sleep properly - bed was *very* firm, pillows could have been a bit softer
