The Villa and grounds were gorgeous! We loved the interior design. The staff were all lovely and super helpful, giving good local recommendations. A short drive for all the sights and city. Breakfast was a delight. We picked up a charcuterie board locally and enjoyed an al fresco dinner in the gardens. P.s. for other guests travelling by car we recommend the train station parking if the suggested areas are full.

The road made us a little nervous to drive in the evenings in the dark, could maybe benefit from some uplighters but hey, driving down dusty roads is part of the charm to roadtripping around Sicily plus the owners have added some very helpful signage.

Loved the facilities and staff were wonderful with suggestions for local travel and food. The room was absolutely stunning with 2 x areas for luggage which my partner and I found handy as often it’s hard to house 2 x large suitcases when travelling. Pool as pictured and a real oasis in the Sicilian Heat. Bed, pillows and air conditioning all outstanding quality.

We were fortunate enough to have a car. We had no issues, but I think if you came here without a car you would be very inconvenienced as town is difficult to access on foot.

Lovely villa with a gorgeous pool. Well looked after and Gerlando was super nice, flexible with our plans and helpful with giving directions to the villa and providing recommendations for dinner. Nice options for breakfast as well.

With the directions given, it’s easy to find the villa, however it is down a short dirt track so just something to be wary of if anyone comes with a bigger car. The walls are also on the thinner side so can hear people coming and going but this wasn’t an issue at night.

Very friendly staff, helpful and excellent breakfast! The breakfast has a wide and tasty selection. The location is a bit out of the city, which makes it a very relaxing environment with a great view. It is nearby the Valley of the Temples. The owner Gerlando helped us with ordering pizza delivery. The ladies (Rita and Juliet) from breakfast and cleaning where always cheerful and helpful. The room (suite) was comfortable and has an interesting design.

Nothing major, just good to know the last part of the road to the hotel is unpaved. We got good directions to reach the hotel, though.

Exceptional modern rooms with a gorgeous view with the valley of the temples in the distance, lovely landscaped gardens with a stylish pool which were really peaceful, breakfast was lovely, and the owner and staff were very friendly and helpful.

If you have a car the villa location was very convenient for both the old town 7 mins drive and the valley of the temples 12 mins drive, but not if you do not drive as there is no public transport option or proper walking access. Also be prepared for some driving on a small local unmettaled road to access the property but it is very well signed posted to the property and when we driven the route once it was no problem at all.

Very friendly staff who tried to help us as much as they can. A beautiful designed room ensuite with own terrace and very clean. Good basic breakfast outside @ their terrace/garden. An ideal place for 1 night stay-over to visit the nearby Valley of the Temples.

Very difficult road to reach/find the location, a lot of going around because of big roadworks & no indications into the ugly concrete city of Argigento & then a sandy road full of wholes before reaching the B&B. With a 4X4 car it s not a problem, with our car it was. I presume and hope for them that, once the roadworks are done, it will be much easier to reach the B&B as it s a beautiful & quite place . Bad wifi connection, so for those who have to do some computer work during their holidays it s a problem...

Beautiful location overlooking the valley of the temples, stunning views from the property, being able to sit and relax by the swimming pool, nice breakfasts, friendly staff.

It would be nice to have somewhere to make tea/coffee. Having a car was essential as it was not possible to walk to restaurants.

Great spot on outskirts of Agrigento. Quiet, peaceful and nice change from being in normal chaos of small Italian towns. Helpful and friendly staff, especially Rita and Gerlando. Lovely homemade items on breakfast buffett. Fantastic views of valley of the temples.

If you have lots of luggage like we did from several weeks of international travel, be prepared for a number of steps in and out of the property. We did get help from staff. Also get (google or Apple Maps) directions from the property - there’s so much construction and closed roads it’s easy to get lost.

I recently stayed at Villa Lekythos and was truly captivated by the stunning outdoor and pool area. However, while the rooms were decent, a little more attention to detail could elevate the experience. The breakfast was satisfactory, though there's room for enhancement in terms of service and variety. The language barrier seemed to contribute to some confusion during breakfast, and the plastic chairs on the terrace were quite uncomfortable compared to the luxurious poolside seating. What disappointed me was the presence of two kittens on the property. Despite the staff's efforts to shush them, the kittens were present on our breakfast. They seemed neglected and relied on pool water for hydration. Guests even shared their own food to help them. Having experienced thoughtful treatment of cats at other properties, even high luxury ones, such as Belmond in JAR, I suggest Villa Lekythos consider providing better care for these feline companions. On a positive note, the property's location is excellent, conveniently close to the center of Agrigento.

The quality and style of this oasis was excellent. The road in is a little difficult to find but once you arrive Gerlando and his team were fantastic. The pool and rooms were beautiful. He allowed us to leave our cases so we could go and explore before checkin and chill by the pool. The communication was excellent and the rooms were the best we had in Italy over the 6 weeks of travel. It is a BNB though so it is a family affair and relaxed and quite which is just what we needed to go and witness the amazing history all around you.
