What a fabulous place to stay in Assisi. The view from the terrace is sublime, the rooms are huge and well appointed. It's close to all the main sights without being in the centre of it all, and quiet generally. The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly, and the rooms got cleaned every day. An absolute gem in a gorgeous old building, and that view is worth every penny.

The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. The armoire was stocked with fridge, sink and dishes. What a surprise! The bed ws comfortable, but the view was worth every penny! Or euro! It was a short walk to all of the historic and religious sites in Assisi. Also, parking in the lot below was extremely convenient. It is the second time I have stayed here. Our key was left in an envelope on the reception desk door. If I am here again, this is where I will stay.

We arrived within the time frame specified, but there was no one there to greet us. Another couple also arrived a bit later and were very confused about which room was theirs. We helped them and showed them how to unlock the door.

Our suite was huge with a large living room and adjoining bedroom with incredible vaulted ceilings and an interior that featured frescoes and other features that enhanced the medievel architecture. We also had exclusive use of a large outdoor garden with a water well and an incredible view of the nearby cathedral and the Umbria Valley below. Absolutely enchanting.

breakfast was small and contained in the mini bar and could have been better. An arrangement with a nearby cafe would have been a better solution.

Looking out at our window at the Basilica of Saint Clare and the Assisi countryside we were beyond pleased with our B&B. The property manager was unable to greet us on our arrival but left very clear directions in a note on how to gain entry to our room. The room was larger than we thought with a small kitchenette, sofa and table to enjoy the pastries left for our breakfast. There was even a fresh rose in the room! And everything was sparkling clean!

sigh...we become so addicted to Italian espresso that we were sad that we were unable to use the coffee machine in the kitchenette. But, lucky for us there was a delightful bar 50 meters away for our espressos and cappucinos.

This place was amazing. We had such a lovely stay in Assisi in our beautiful family room with a loft and a door that opens into the private garden with a view of the Basilica of St Claire. Self-check in went really smoothly. Our room was ready and clean. Location was perfect because it was right around the corner to Blessed Carlo Acutis. Such a peaceful, quiet place in Assisi. This place made our trip so meaningful and wonderful. What a gem!!!

We booked the Frate Sole (Brother Sun) room for 6 nights in January. It was gorgeous, spotlessly clean, 2 bedrooms both with 4 posters and frescoes,, 2 bathrooms (1 with bath) a big dining table and a balcony with a breathtaking view. Chiara and Dante were both lovely and helped with everything. The fireplace was restocked each day. A pod coffee machine, fridge, stovetop and basic pots and pans supplied. So close to everything, especially the central piazza, restaurants/cafes and cash machine. Even tho Italy in the middle of a power crisis, our rooms were always warm and cosy in the middle of winter. I love, love, loved our stay here, grazie mille!

The kitchen was a bit bijou! It's fine if you intend to eat out every night, and we managed to cook pasta and salad for 2, but you couldn't cook a family meal in there without going crazy.

Always a favorite for me in Assisi, the hotel reflects the historic nature of the city, providing quiet rooms, privacy and views beyond the valley. Close to city center and all the sites, with large units and friendly staff.

Staff availability is limited with the front desk unmanned after 4 or 5 each night. It is not a problem for those familiar with the town or who enjoy discovering the treasures of Assisi, but for inexperienced travelers, this might be a negative to the experience.

From my other ratings you can tell how much we loved everything about our stay. The antique furnishings were lovely and the view was spectacular and we wallowed in the panoramic peace and beauty from our terrace on high nestled just below a small church and bell tower.

I regret to report that we did not have hot water in the shower but we did not inquire about it so there may have been some quick fix we did not make use of.

Our room had a living room and a garden. The garden was perfect for my friend who is an artist so she was able to enjoy painting the sceneries around. But what we loved most is the service. Dante, the person at the front desk, is a wonderful host. He was courteous and professional yet very welcoming. Will definitely go back to stay here.

Nothing really. Except perhaps we were the only guests at that time so a bit "scared" of being by ourselves in the B&B. :)

Superb location to explore Assisi on foot, especially since it is right by the exit from Mojano parking, perhaps the best place to leave your car in Assisi. To unload luggage expect hairrising trip through the very center of Assisi, otherwise pedestrian zone. Then leave your car in Mojano. Upon departure either repeat ordeal through the center or take your luggage down to Mojano parking using lift. Better option if you are not overloaded. The room we got was really special, former medieval gathering room of friar confraternity. The walls are from 12.-13. century, frescoes are new (fake), but look tasteful. We got a nice kitchenette to use, but the highlight was huge garden only for our use, with a view of the oldest church in Assisi. All in all, really scenic, picturesque and worth staying in.

Save from non-functioning air-con, everything else was superb.
