The location is one of the main benefits of this hotel! You are roughly a 10 minute walk from the main square and only about 20-30 from the central train station. There’s lots of small bars and restaurants in the area too! It really comes alive in the evenings. Generally felt very safe especially with the lovely staff on desk 24/7. Most of the staff also spoke some English which helped with communication a lot. The breakfast was also lovely, no complaints there!

My only comment would be the shower head which did not stay up properly unless the water pressure was high enough, but this didn’t really impact our stay nor would it deter me from staying here again!

The breakfast was good. Egg, cheese, fruits, croissant, cakes etc, you can find. Everything was fresh and new. The best is the location. The hotel is in the university zone and there are many pubs and restaurants. You can walk everywehere in 10-15 minutes. You can find the Bologna's best restaurants near to hotel. It is a big avantage.

The bath is so narrow. It is hard to move inside. It is like a capsule. But for a short trip it is enough.

Value for money, clean and quiet even though the room I stayed in was facing the street! The breakfast was also a nice assortment of various baked goods, cereals etc.. In general, it was a very good experience with very friendly and gracious staff! When I return to Bologna, (which I will), I will come back here to this hotel!

I would have liked to have a safety deposit box and some coffee/tea - with hot water container so if I wanted instant coffee, I could make it in the room.

The hotel was in a very good location to walk every point of the city. Room was clean and beds were comfy. The bath has everything you need and shower was working well. Breakfast was good enough. Most importantly the staff were great and I got very quick reply from Alberto and Filip when I texted a message to ask something before I went to Bologna.

Overall a good place to stay! The Continental breakfast was plentiful and the charming server remembered my room # and what coffee I liked. I like this attention to detail. Lots of eateries available close by if that's what you are after as well!

The location of the hotel was very convenient, right in the heart of the city. There are many cafes, osterias and bars around. However the room was not noisy. The room was clean and comfortable. And the staff was very helpful.

The room needed some maintaining, but that was not a problem for us.

Hotel University was in a great location, close to lots of nice bars and restaurants and not too far from the city center. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Would stay here again.

The property is very clean, and the breakfast was really nice.

The communication of the parking should be a little bit clearer, because at arrival they said that the parking fee was included in the price (that is why they parked their car at the hotel’s parking lot instead of another place), but my family had to pay extra 18 EUR for it when leaving the hotel.

Room was quiet and beds were very comfortable. We had a good sleep. Kettle was available and some cups as well.

There was no coffee or tea in the room. There were some water bottles but with the price list, I think 2.50€ for a small bottle which was a bit of a shame, especially since the hotel wasn't cheap.
