The property is only a few minutes driving away from beautiful beaches or the towns of Capoliveri and Porto Azzuro. We loved the tranquility and the beautiful views of Capoliveri and Elban countryside. There are supermarkets and petrol stations close by, there is parking and there is a pretty good restaurant at the location. A bike rental shop is right next to the hotel. Breakfast was good, a few savoury options and a real feast of cakes and pastries. The room was very spacious, had everything we needed and the cleaning lady did an impeccable job.

We would have appreciated a mobile shower head, the toilet was also placed in a tight corner of the room. But these were just details, no major issues and we loved our stay overall.

We were travelling with our 2 year old and it was perfect! Our room had a fully closed off courtyard with plenty of room for him to run around in and the kids pool and slide were a real bonus! We ate out a lot but found the restaurant at the hotel was by far the best food we had on the island, it was delicious! Breakfast was great and the staff were really friendly and helpful and so welcoming. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the best beaches and towns on the island!

If you tried to use the oven it tripped all the electricity!

Very friendly staff, nice people all over the place. They have a big parking place for all the guests. The hotel has an own restaurant which is occupied pretty well every night. Food was nice. Pilade is doing their own Elban olive oil 🫒🛢️which you can buy at the reception 👍

Sometimes it's a little noisy at night. Not negative, but the location was a little hard to find at night; especially the parking lots were not obvious at first glance, since the hotel is located on a mountaintop road.

A lovely family-run hotel with an exceptional restaurant. Very friendly, appropriately attentive but thoroughly professional staff made us at home. An ideal location to explore Elba and/or enjoy the beaches. Great views and all the facilities we might need including a large swimming pool. Particular thanks to the delightful Aurora and Giulia who looked after us so well.

I wish we could stay longer. We loved the quiet location, ideal for exploring the island. We enjoyed the warm and clean pool, the rich breakfast and the lovely attention from staff. We recommend purchasing their own olive oil from the farm, it is truly fantastic.

Fantastic restaurant with great staff. This is really the 'center piece' of the whole complex. Nice pool. The room was large and had a nice balcony. The location of the hotel is also perfect between Porto azzuro and Capolivero, and close to barabarca beach.

Some of the furniture was up for replacement, although nice it probably had its best time, particularly the shower and the bed.

We spend 4 nights. A family of 4. Pilade is a nice place to be. It is quiet and peacefull and garden and pool is very well cared for. For beach time we used the Naregna side which was less populated than lido de capoliveri. And parking was easy to find. You can drive to more secluded beaches further out on the same side as Naregna. We also rented e-bikes in Naregno and took a guided tour in the national park. Very much recommended.

You need a car and we didn’t have one. It’s a good hike to the beach and town.
