Great place to stay. Had a great window view to the pool , sea and mountains in a distance. Everything you need is in the room. Good breakie and superb pool zone with sun lounges , jacuzzi and great sea view from 2nd floor .

Just for those who will be there for the first time , its on the sea front but not on the beach. But ! They have free transfer to it which is amazing.

Everything about Hotel Punta Nord Est is so much more than a 3* Hotel. The location was ideal for us, just a 10 minute walk into the town of Castellamare del Golfo. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was a good size and the bed sheets and pillowcases were changed frequently. The towels were changed daily. The range of breakfast provided was ample and of high quality. The swimming pool and pool bar were great, immaculately kept and staffed by friendly, efficient personnel. The Hotel Receptionists were just magnificent and when my husband was taken ill (thankfully, not seriously) and had to go to hospital, they organised taxis and lunch for us on our return. This Hotel is a gem!

The Reception area looks a little tired and could do with a furniture refurbishment. It would also have been nice to have had a barman on duty during the evenings.

Perfectly situated hotel, only 10 minutes walk outside of Castellammare which is a hive of activity. Lots of places to eat, drink, shop, hire boats and so on. Hotel is really nice and better than 3 star I would say, not many 'frills' in the room but a great size (we booked sea view) and so clean, cleaned every day. Air con was wonderful also as very hot in August Mini fridge in the room was a good addition for keeping water cold. Also very refreshing to see that the items inside you could purchase were not a ridiculous inflated cost but the same price as what you would buy from the pool bar. Pool area was ideal for couples and families. The pool bar was great, we had lunch there a couple of times which was delicious and so reasonably priced Hotel staff are friendly and helpful Breakfast had everything! So much lovely fresh fruit and pastries/cakes. Noticed how hard the staff worked to keep things topped up and the room clean and tidy

As we had a sea view room it was looking out onto the main road, quite noisy with traffic when the door was open but once closed we didn't hear a thing and wouldn't disturb sleep. Worth is for the view and sunset/sunrise!

Beautiful clean hotel with such friendly staff throughout the hotel. The pool is beautiful and the playground area and playroom is well maintained. Been here as a couple a few yrs back and again now as a family with two small kids. Spent 10days here and loved it. Breakfast is great and fantastic choice and food at the poll bar is great especially for kids. The views from the hotel are amazing and so close tot he beach hut hotel also have a private access to shale beach and also a free shuttle to drop you to and from sandy beach. Fantastic hotel 😊

The staff was absolutely incredible. We were greeted with professionalism and a smile every day, afternoon, and night. Incredibly knowledgeable as well! The location is amazing. If you are thinking about the Junior Suite do it ASAP. The pictures from the terrace do not do justice to what you get. They also give you a card worth 10% of many local restaurants. We saved at least €100 with this over 3 days. If you are interested in seeing a Scilian vineyard that's 20 minutes from the hotel, ask about Adamo.

Communication with the hotel was always swift. When we arrived the lovely receptionist let me try and book in etc using my Italian that I have been trying to learn for too many years now. The room was very clean, spacious - we partic liked the terrace - and with a comfy bed. Breakfast was good. The hotel's location was fine for us as we are quite happy to walk anywhere but it is a short walk to the main part of the town on pavements that are uneven so bear this in mind

The breakfast was ver, very good, a variety of choice. The view was very nice.

The breakfast was exquisite - tasty, menu changing a little daily, very high variation of dishes and extremely children friendly (dishes, child chair). Highly recommended.

The elevator is rather slow to move however this is not a big problem. The hotel overall might need an overhaul in a few years. Still, this is a wonderful, relaxing and safe place to stay. The hotel was connected via underground tunnel with a beach, however there was a landslide that blocked the passage (a few yrs ago?)
