The staff were exceptional. They always went the extra mile to help and make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The hotel facilities are excellent. The gardens are impressive and the bar / seating areas are perfect for evening drinks. We enjoyed the breakfast on the rooftop which had amazing views of the sea and mountains. We had couple of dinners at the hotel restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the food and service provided. We also recommend trying the spa facilities and massage. The gala dinner and live music were a nice gesture. Although we only missed the dinner itself as we returned late from a day trip, we enjoyed the dessert and live music.

I really can’t fault it. We had an issue with ants in the bathroom on the first night. This was dealt with professionally by staff who offered alternative rooms until it’s was cleaned next morning. The hotel location would require a car to get to nearby venues and beaches.

This is luxurious hotel with large comfortable rooms. We had a room with a view of Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples. The hotel has a first class restaurant although the menu is a bit limited if you intend to eat there every night. Breakfast is a fantastic buffet on the roof with views in all directions.

The only comment I can make here is that the hotel is 20 - 30 minuets walk from the nearest town centre along a not very pleasant road. Not dangerous, just no footpath in places or alongside a busy main road. There is an hotel shuttle but it is not very frequent. It would be good if it could run more often since a taxi for the mile or so into town costs €15 - €20. Warning, be wary or taxis in the Naples area as they will try to rip you off. Agree the price before you start and still expect to be overcharged.

This was a truly exceptional hotel with fantastic charm. It was comfortable and relaxed and very stylish. Could not fault the quality of the staff, food and overall service. They were so helpful and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Restaurant food and staff were absolutely 5 star.

A 10 minute walk to the town - but to be fair they do lay on a free shuttle. Aside from that, nothing to dislike.

Beautiful hotel - rooms were spacious and well equipped - pool area was fantastic - comfortable sun loungers with waiter service - bar area was lovely with a good selection of drinks - snacks served with drinks too which was a nice touch

The location - Had to get a taxi to the train station every day to get anywhere There was also a wedding and a confirmation on whilst we were there and we couldn’t use the bar area for 2 nights - they did set up a room inside the hotel for guests but the beautiful garden views from the bar area are the reason you would want use the hotel bar

First of all, the pictures do not reflect the beauty of the hotel and the garden. The staff did everything to make us comfortable and pleasant, The service is outstanding. The breakfast is served on the roof, simply magical and also delicious and fresh. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, it is a chef's dinner, expensive prices but very special and delicious. The pool is quite big and clean. The garden area of ​​the hotel is huge, amazingly beautiful and well-kept. There is a snack bar that serves lunch - a varied menu. iThere is free parking at the hotel. The access roads to the hotel are comfortable and friendly even for traveling at night. Half an hour from Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento.

The room is not so big. I must mention that we were offered a free upgrade to a suite and we chose not to because we preferred a view and a high floor (we regretted refusing)

At the pool, the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, you can enjoy a peaceful rest very well. The breakfast was not rich, but you could eat well. The room is small but comfortable. As we spent little time in the room itself, it was good enough. The territory of the hotel is fabulously beautiful and the staff excellent. Thanks, definitely recommend!

The location was a little inconvenient. It took quite a long time to reach the nearest village on foot. But if a car is rented, then it is already different. Taxis were expensive to use just to get to and from the village.

Room was more like a small apartment, very spacious and well decorated. Very clean. Beautiful views. The staff were exceptional. Everyone was friendly, warm, fun, and attentive. They really helped make our stay special. Whilst the hotel itself is a little remote, it's within 20 minutes walk of the train station and only 20 minutes journey to Sorrento. So we took full advantage of the great local public transport and walked 18,000+ steps every day. Fabulous.

There could've been bar food available more readily.

Lovely elegant interiors and hotel grounds beautiful and full of local character and elegance. Lovely pool and music playing in the gardens. Gorgeous restaurant and rooftop breakfast with views of Vesuvius and Bay of Naples. Attentive restaurant service, lovely food.

Bed was too hard for me with previous back problems would prefer soft mattress with springs. Kids bathroom had drain smell which kept coming back and we had to ask 3 times to refill shower toiletries and broken kettle.

The hotel and grounds are beautifully decorated, the staff go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and want. Francesco the manager was always available and we enjoyed our little chats with him and all the staff. We knew the location was a little further out but was perfect for my father as he is from this particular area. The staff are always on hand to arrange transportation so you can visit all the attractions. The food is very gastronomic and the staff are also happy to recommend local restaurants. For a great local and authentic Pizza, we would recommend Pizzeria Domenic Mascolo, the pizzas are big, especially the Metro and it was a wonderful experience to dine with all the locals ~ Giuseppe went out of his way to look after us and the owner was so helpful as we had problems with our phone so at the end of the evening he rang La Medusa to pick us up. A special thanks to all at La Medusa for having us ~ especially Francesco the manager, Genaro the Maitre d, Silvano the driver, Ermemia, Domenico and Achille on reception who were very patient and understanding with my sister Elena and of course Pasquale and Luciano. This is a lovely setting with best hotel gardens I have seen. With a great canvas you still need great staff and this is what sets La Medusa apart. I have to mention specifically, Gennaro (restaurant manger) & Milani (Maitre D) were wonderful and made my wife and I feel like the most important people in the hotel, the most important people ever in that moment, for our final night in Italy! Brilliant! A great huge comfortable bed with great A/C, fantastic bath-room and everything we needed for 2 special days/night. Breakfast overlooking the Bay of Naples Good shuttle-bus to local town (gets busy so book) and lovely reception staff happy to help,
