The rooms and the space are very well designed with an attention to all the details (like hooks on the walls of the bathroom or a shelf in the shower installed so that it does not get wet, or a flower watering can, or an espresso machine and espresso cups in the room ...). The breakfast was nicely arranged with everything you need to start the day. And kitchen available for making tea in the evening. And Fabrizio was a perfect host. He was friendly and patient listening to us telling him how cool everything is organized. He was very helpful with providing important hints about Cefalú and where to eat out.

The only thing that I could recommend for improvement (especially for the German guests) during the breakfast — also provide the soft boiled eggs. Though I understand how difficult it is to do that actually.

- The owner Fabrizio is extremely friendly, helpful and excellent in communication (also in English). Many thanks! - The rooms / bathrooms are of very tasteful modern design, new and well equipped. Pleasant is also the little balcony of the room where I enjoyed cappuccino in the sun after breakfast. - The breakfast was of high quality and rich choice, prepared/served by two friendly smiling ladies who made me feel like at home. Also to them "mille grazie".

We loved everything about staying at the B&B. From central location, very clean and modern in an Historical building, excellent breakfast and most importantly the warm welcome of fabrizio and the staff and wonderful tips and advise! We felt at home and everything was really easy, smooth and made our few days in Cefalu a great holidays. As we were heading to Palermo, we also got from Fabrizio a very useful list of things to do and see. We definitely highly recommend this place!

Nothing! Everything was perfect

Cortile Umberto gives you the feeling you're staying at home in your own comfort. The host takes time for all the guests, the rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast is good (with very friendly staff). It is also a plus that items such as umbrellas for the beach are available to use. Communication with the host went smooth and you can reach them very easily via Whatsapp (quick response).

Breakfast time for myself, as an early bird, was a bit late. So we generally went out for a cup of coffee first before having breakfast at the B&B. On the plus side it makes the B&B very quiet. So it didn't bother me really.

The location of this property was great! Just a short stroll to the historical centre of Cefalu and attractions. Massimo our host was lovely and his recommendations were spot on. He was responsive to any questions we had. Breakfast was delicious with a large range of options. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Thank you Massimo for making our stay in Cefalu so easy and wonderful!

Fabrizio and his wife were on site for entire stay, answering any questions we had, giving recommendations for us, and each morning we were greeted with a beautiful breakfast and lovely staff who helped us every day to have a typical Sicilian breakfast with all the hospitality to go with it! We would recommend this B&B for it's location and proximity to the train station, to all the local shops and eatery's and for it being a quiet location for rest, but a quick walk to everything exciting in the city to do as well as a quick walk to the Cefalu beaches.

Fabrizio was an excellent host, accommodating and attentive. He did everything for our stay to be enjoyable, he even prepared breakfast a little earlier as we had an early train on our departure day! Aside from that, the B&B is very well located and perfect for a short stay

Our room was a little noisy as it faced a main road but it didn’t really bother us aa the setting was so nice and the host was so welcoming

We loved staying at Cortile Umberto. Fabrizio and Flavia were warm and friendly, and so accommodating of anything we needed. The rooms were well decorated, light, spacious, and had all required facilities. The location was perfect with nearby cafes and restaurants, and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Fabrizio and Flavia helped us find a free street to park on nearby with no issues. Breakfast had a wide selection which we were happy with. We have recommended this place to friends and would gladly come back again.

This was our most enjoyable stay on our Sicily trip. On the one hand, the delightful and romantic Cefalù, on the other hand, the lovely host Fabrizio, who arouses 100% sympathy from the first minute. The facility is located in the heart of the village. Within walking distance, all the most important attractions of the town, a multitude of restaurants and bars. The facility is small, maybe 5 rooms. Located in a beautiful, historic tenement house. Rooms cleaned daily. Super comfortable bed, fragrant linen. The greatest asset of this place is Fabrizio, who is always and everywhere ready to help. Be it restaurant recommendations, walking routes or even a guide to Palermo. In addition, he helped us a lot with the repair of the car. Just an angel!

I hope Fabrizio will not take it badly, but as constructive criticism. Our only remark concerns breakfast. After 30 minutes there was practically nothing to choose from. The lady who served the room seemed not to see that there were empty dishes. Too bad because it would be perfect. But still 10 from us! And we will recommend to friends and family.

The property was centrally located, which made it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. My room (#4) was spacious and exceptionally clean, as was the whole property. Fabrizio had great suggestions on restaurants and sites to see. If you follow his recommendations you won’t be disappointed. As a solo traveler I felt very safe walking back at night.

There isn’t anything I didn’t like about this property.
