The apartment is situated at the seaside edge of the bustling old town. It is surrounded by restaurants and wine bars - thank goodness for wooden shutters which are very efficient for keeping out the late night noise. Our host Rocco is the most kind and charming person you could possibly meet. He is very attentive and willing to help with any arrangements. Rocco provides a superb breakfast of fresh local produce. There is a beautifully designed and spacious lounge area which is shared with other guests. The balcony is very narrow, suitable for plant pots but not for sitting.

The kitchen, although shown in the photos, is not a facility which can be used by guests, except for the fridge.

The breakfast was prepared every morning by Rocco and included savoury and sweet items. It was fresh and delicious and we were spoilt for choice. If you want to be in the heart or the Cefalu old town and within the hustle and bustle of Cefalù then this is the spot for you! The accomodation was right off one of the main streets which means as soon as you stepped out there were people everywhere. The room was really nicely decorated and clean. The communal area which includes a lounge room and kitchen was lovely. The best part however was our AMAZING host Rocco. He was the best host we have ever had. He directed you throughout your entire stay, gave you recommendations on where to go, eat and what to do and made sure you avoided all the tourist traps. If you wanted a reservation somewhere he also did that for you.

Be aware of the 4 flights of stairs up to the apartment, if you have mobility issues then this is not for you! Rocco insisted on carrying our luggage which was super helpful.

The apartment was spacious, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and in the centre of historic Cefalu- close to the Duomo, restaurants, shopping, beaches. However, it was our host, Rocco, who made it “our home away from home”! There was great variety of pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit , fresh orange juice that he served for breakfast. His love for his town, his family, his work all comes through with great passion. I have travelled a lot and can honestly say that Rocco is the best host I have ever met! Do not hesitate to book his place - you will never regret your decision.

Nothing, everything was perfect

Property is centrally located close to everything in Cefalu. Our host Rocco was amazing and provided a wealth of information on dining, sites and generally how to best experience Cefalu. He also provides a great breakfast. Room was super clean and comfortable, the best bed by far during our Sicily trip. Only a short 10min walk from public parking, you can take a taxi from there but we walked.

B&B is located on 3rd and 4th floor without a lift. Rocco takes care of your luggage so you only need to be in shape for the climb up. Our room was street side so it can get a little noisy at night but was not a problem for us. Earplugs are provided if you need them however we did not.

Everything was AMAZING! The room, the location, and my overall experience here far exceeded my expectations. I was so lucky to have found this place. Rocco goes out of his way to ensure all of his guests have the best experience in Cefalù and it’s evident in the time he takes to explain what to see and where to eat and drink. Not to mention the incredible breakfast spread he sets out every morning - wow! His goal is to make everyone visiting feel like a local and I truly did. I will never forget my time here in this charming town nor my experience at Azzuro B&B. Thank you, Rocco!

Azzurro B&B hosted by Rocco provides the discerning traveller a stellar experience in a beautiful Sicilian city. The location is outstanding, in the centre of the historic city only minutes to the beach, the best restaurants and wine bars, and steps from the Duomo and the amazing La Rocca hike. I worked remotely during some days and evenings while staying at Azzurro and the ambience and wifi were excellent, the rooms were quiet and private, and the common areas enchanting. The other guests were also a delight to converse with and spend time getting to know. Splendid people stay here!!! Yet, as so many others have observed, it is the service and care that Rocco provides that elevate this accommodation to its well-earned top spot. Rocco provides an exquisite and varied breakfast of coffee, tea, freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, warm-from-the-bakery pastries, boiled eggs, and cheese each morning. The quality is outstanding and conversations over breakfast full of tidbits of information for one's stay in this magical part of Sicilia. Rocco is a concierge-extraordinaire and arranged my lunch and dinner reservations, sent directions to my phone, and made recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants and wine bars that were all spectacular. His generous and kind nature is a rare and welcome presence. His English is impeccable. The accommodation and location was grand, Rocco as a host made the entire experience of being in beautiful Cefalu all the more memorable!! This is a fine place to stay - and I hope to return!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights in the charming top floor apartment, which was spacious and clean and with a fabulous balcony with sea views. Extremely well equipped too, plus loved the little extras from Rocco (owner) such as croissants and bread rolls delivered outside our door each morning, and unexpected starter supply of milk, juice, fruit and ham/cheese/eggs in fridge on arrival — and coffee. The apartment is perfect for a couple + single guest which was our set-up with our guest joining us for the last 2 nights. Double room is spacious. The single room is small but perfectly comfortable and can work as a twin for children. (2nd bed is on a small platform.) The bathroom is shared but there’s also an outside shower on the balcony which our guest was keen to test and enjoyed! That apart the twin room is separated from the double via a small lobby area to the bathroom and main bedroom allowing privacy if needed by simply closing the lobby door.

Nothing— just be aware that it’s effectively a third/fourth floor walk up so not suitable for someone with mobility issues. Otherwise its a great way to keep fit! Rocco insists on carrying luggage up btw!

Excellent location, great breakfast, comfy bed and good shower. Rocco is the perfect host, he is charming and full of useful information for the best restaurants etc. I would definitely recommend Azzurro B & B if you are staying in Cefalu!

The wifi was patchy and a bit slow! The weather wasn't great so I think there may have been a few short power cuts so this could also have been part of the problem. The B & B is up a lot of flights of steep stairs so anyone with mobility issues may have problems.

Our stay at the Azzurro B&B was absolutely incredible and exceeded our expectations. The B&B and room were lovely - clean, bright and comfortable, and the location could not have been better. Perfectly situated to the old town and beach. The breakfast is outstanding. Most importantly, Rocco, the host is absolutely wonderful - very welcoming and has incredible recommendations to make the trip extra special. Would highly recommend Azzurro.

Rocco is a one-of-a kind host with a wry sense of humor and a generous spirit. Upon checking in, he sat down with us and shared valuable information to make our 3-night stay as comfortable as possible. He not only provided a list of restaurants and wine bars, but also made reservations for us which resulted in special treatment (nicer tables, the occasional complementary glass of Prosecco). As for the accommodations, our room and bathroom were charming and comfortable. The beautiful common space is shared by only 2 rooms. We were lucky to have the entire space to ourselves for our first 2 days, but happily shared it with another guest our third night and over breakfast the next day. Breakfast was locally sourced, beautifully presented, and delicious. The B&B is located in the heart of the historical center of Cefalù.

We were a little hesitant about the accommodations being on the 3rd floor without an elevator, but Rocco carried our bags up (and down) so it wasn’t a problem.
