Friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast.

Actually what we didn’t like about the city, Civitavecchia: the map of the city doesn’t match the actual city. AND there are few street signs to let you know if you are in the correct street. We went on foot from the train station and had to ask 4 different people to find our way. Even the locals don’t know the names of the streets. Best to get a taxi to this B&B. It’s worth it! Also, if you take a taxi to the cruise port, make sure the taxi driver knows to drop you off at the cruise line check-in and NOT at the ship. Cunard had the check-in point a 10-minute walk away from the ship.

We came in late in the evening unexpectedly due to the train strike. We were a little frazzled by the time we got there, but Gianni was fabulous in answering questions during our transit. He even carried my suitcase up the stairs. He booked a taxi for us the next day and booked a table for dinner. Comfortable bed and pillow, very clean, continental breakfast in the morning.

There's no fridge in the room. We needed a fridge for medicine, but forgot to ask Gianni about refrigerating it when we checked in. We had ice with us that was still solid, so we were okay. If you need a fridge, be sure to ask.

Our hostess was pleasant and helpful. She answered all our questions as best she could and very pleasant. We were there for 1 day and needed a place to stay near the port for our cruise, so it served it’s purpose.

Nothing to dislike. It’s a quaint b&b and inexpensive. We did have issues trying to get inside the b&b as the door was locked and we weren’t provided any instructions on how to get in. A taxi driver was able to contact someone and the hostess opened the door. A suggestion would be to provide instructions on how to get into the b&b for foreigners.

Our ferry changed the departure time last minute and we had to book a night in Civitavecchia. We chose Bel Sole again: - The staff is super friendly and does everything to make you feel welcome and comfortable (Thank you so much for all your help!) - Bedrooms are spacious and super clean - Beds are really comfortable. - A delicious breakfast is included. - The distribution of the rooms around the patio and veranda gives a nice open-air feeling, especially welcome in times of coronavirus.

The staff were amazing. Very friendly, very accommodating. The location is perfect for daytime. Evening you have to walk 15 min to get to the restaurants on the water. Well lit streets, safe, friendly people.

Not much... European breakfast (sweets, good coffee, cold cut meats, cheese, yogurt... I liked it!). Seemed like everything in the area closed very early.

The B&B appears to have been redone recently, with up-to-date windows, doors and bathroom. It was very clean. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. There were a variety of restaurants within a 10-20 minute walk.

The street was busy so there was a bit of traffic (especially motorcycle) noise.

Location is a bit far from the port but we weren't going to walk there anyway and I don't suggest walking because it can be confusing if you don't know the waym Breakfast was decent and fairly simple. The staff was nice and the place was clean. We spent the night and weren't expecting much and that made us surprised for the good!

We had a very comfortable stay, the room was clean, the staff (Irina & Maria) were very helpful, the bed was very comfortable and breakfast included! Also within walking distance of both the train station and cruise port! We will definitely stay there again in the future!

The breakfast we had was croissants and pastries..they were really good. Our room was very clean. The bathroom was renovated and very nice. We stayed here before getting on our cruise ship. Perfect location.

Very clean & well maintained. The sisters were very kind & helpful too.

When the air-conditioning shut off at night. Made sleeping very uncomfortable in the extreme heat.
