We were expecting to have a beautiful accomodation, but when we arrived and saw the property and the room we remained speechless. It was exactly like you see in movies. The room had bedsheets and towels changed everyday, the breakfast was delicious, the pool area was very nice, the room was stunning, and the serenity and the peace you feel here gives you the whole package. Also, easy access by car to main cities, such as Arezzo, Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza, Cortona is just 10 minutes away by car and it is a lovely city. We will definitely come back here because we loved everything

What a pleasant experience we had staying at Villa Borgo San Pietro! On the day of our arrival, we got to the hotel at 10PM after a long drive. Upon entering the building, we were greeted by Mr. Alessandro Faralli who, in addition tu being very nice and courteous, took his time to properly explain to us where everything was, how everything worked and even walked us to our room. Then, we were offered water and a glass of wine in order to allow us to unwind after that long trip, which we happily drank on the front patio, watching the beautiful scenery. In addition to the great first impression, Alessandro was able to provide many excellent recommendations for visiting the area, which were all very practical. We travel fairly often and this kind of service seems to be becoming a rare commodity. However, this was only a sample of what the rest of the staff had to offer, as everyone we met was great and made us feel right at home. With regards to the premises and their location, again, we were quite impressed by them. The proximity to Cortona kept the drives short and simple and the well maintained 17th century villa exceeded our expectations. In our opinion, the photos that we found online while booking this hotel did not do justice to its charm and beauty. All in all, we were quite delighted by the 6 days we spent at Villa Borgo San Pietro. Thanks for everything; we will be back again in the future.

The grounds and building itself were lovely. It was very nice to have a pool to relax by. Our room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately there weren’t many options for food, especially later in the day as there wasn’t a restaurant. A vending machine could be useful. Also our power adapters didn’t work due to the age of the building so maybe this needs to be mentioned so people are aware. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in our room for use throughout the day.

Lovely service. Lillian came outside to meet us when we arrived. This was a really nice touch compared with someone standing behind a reception desk. This level of friendly and efficient service continued throughout our two day stay. The buildings, the grounds and the swimming pool area are all beautiful and there are fantastic views to Cortona and over the vines. In a lovely, quiet setting but with Cortona only a five minute drive away (and free to park). Cortona is less touristy than many other places in Tuscany and this adds to its charm. Apartment was spacious and immaculately clean.

A couple of minor things which I hope wouldn’t put anyone off: The apartment was a little basic and the bed a bit soft and bouncy for our liking. I never usually get bitten but got a number of mosquito bites at the pool.

The location was stunning, the hotel was beautiful, the staff were lovely people, cannot fault this hotel, fantastic value for money, we were there for our daughters wedding so we needed a base to stay at and WOW what a base we picked. Trust me villa borgo san pietro will exceed your expectations. We will definately return one day, it was so peaceful but within easy reach of everything should you want to explore more. My score would be 15/10 a super gem of a hotel.

There is nothing i did not like, everything was perfect. You cannot complain if there is nothing to complain about.

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout stay. Paul was exceptionally relaxing, very large and great for families. The setting was great, around a 10 minute drive to Cortana. The apartment we stayed in was very clean and overall comfortable.

The apartment we stayed in, could do with some more utensils, such as a decent, cutting knife and a lot of chopping board. But these are minor quibbles. Nothing to do with the accommodation, but we were unfortunate to encounter a very rude Polish woman, who asked my daughter of six years old to keep the noise down so she can relax! Fortunately, the woman left after a few more days

The property is absolutely beautiful and very close to Cortona. Pool views are amazing! All of the staff were outstanding and provided us with excellent dinner options. Alessandro went above and beyond to help us find a hot air balloon ride which unfortunately was not available. They were also able to book us an amazing massage in our room. Nice morning breakfast was served daily.

The only complaint was the uncomfortable beds which could use updating.

This was truly a magnificent break for myself and my partner! stunning hotel, location and staff! The breakfasts were fabulous! the location for breakfast in the garden was simply perfect! I cannot praise this hotel enough! it was just how I imagined it! very typically Tuscan rooms! spotlessly clean! the staff throughout our stay couldn’t do enough for us! The pool and location was beautiful!! manicured gardens! nothing was to much trouble for the staff! We will definitely be back !!! The surrounding countryside was amazing!! Cortona especially!!!

No complaints whatsoever !!

The villa is situated in the most picturesque location I've ever come across. While it may be tricky to get there by car, it is certainly worthwhile. Just a few minutes from Cortona, yet far removed enough to enjoy the countryside, you couldn't ask for anything better. The staff were absolutely amazing with high energy, great and personalised recommendations and always avaliable. If you are considering booking this location don't hesitate to do so, you won't be disappointed!

There aren't really any downsides or big areas of improvements, everything was great! The only thing coming to mind was the breakfast buffet. While the selection of foods was okay, sometimes the breads could be a bit stale and the warm food (such as the bacon or scrambled eggs) weren't always entirely warm. However, the taste of the breakfast was great and the home-baked cookies were certainly appreciated!

This was second time we visited Villa Borgo San Pietro. We can only recommend this lovely place near to Cortona. Staff is really kind and helpful. Breakfast is great!

All good, if we need to mention something, then rooms are a bit small, but still OK. And in case you are coming with family, then they have apartment houses. And you need good legs to climb to your rooms, however also not too hard.
