The breakfast is very nice, like a 5 star hotel, and you have a lake view from there. Is also has lactose free and gluten free options. And the ladies in the breakfast room are very nice and speak English. The hotel lets you rent bicycles (an activity I recommend in Garda). Even though the hotel is old, specially the common areas, it seemed cleaned and well maintained. The hotel is located right in front of the lake. There are large trees in front of it though, so it obstructs the view somewhat. There are mosquito nets on the windows. They have a garage. There is a mini mart next to the hotel. There's a nice pizzeria with outside tables and lake view right next to the hotel.

There is no complimentary water in the room. Each bottle is 2 euros. There was no trash bin in the room. The reception seems messy and disorganized. Most of the receptionists were friendly but barely spoke English. We'd planned on asking for tips but gave up because it seemed they wouldn't understand. We initially asked for the Garda Promotion Card (something you get for free for staying on the lake) and they didn't know about it, then later another receptionist did give it to us. The TV has several channels but none in English. Breakfast is mostly self-service but you can't help yourself to coffee, you need to ask the ladies to get you a coffee.

We loved everything about this charming hotel. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is in a fabulous location, right on the lake, close to town. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the view of the lake from the window was fabulous. I recommend paying a little extra for the view. The hotel has bikes for rent which was a great extra because biking around the lake is a treat. On Thursday there is a market on the lake front.

The hotel is small, but very cozy. The staff is very nice, friendly and kind. Location of the hotel is perfect and the view is amazing. I enjoyed the breakfast with the lake view. The breakfast is also more than good. Would recommend both for the short or longer stay.

The hotel has a great location. Staff excellent. Cleaning ladies work very hard. Rooms cleaned every day. Night porter, sorry, forgot his name. Attention to detail, he knew all guests who were staying there. If you are a single traveller, it is a very safe hotel to stay. Home from home. The beds are very comfortable. Good selection at breakfast.

The single rooms are very small and the shower is also very small.

This is quite a small hotel by Lago di Garda standards. It is family-owned and run and you can see new investment everywhere: bathrooms, elevator, Extensive breakfast dining rooms, a great selection of breakfast items. Not sure that Tiramisu qualifies as a 'breakfast item' but it was the best I've tasted for a long time and I had two portions one day to counterbalance my strict(?) diet. All staff are excellent: the reception desk manager Andres is a graduate of Milan University and spent a year in England polishing his skills. He is a doctor, but not of medicine - in the admirable European style he's a doctor of tourism. Ann oe Adriana is a partner in the business with other family members, although she' a working partner and askilful with Google translate. Most meals are served/supervised by Emma, who speaks Engish but is modest about it and Francesca

They were all so friendly and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice.

Ther could have been a kettle with tea and coffee in the room

stayed here for a few days last year. impressed enough to return this year. everything lived up to our memories from the amazing breakfasts to the splendid view from the room.

because we had to book later than usual, we had to have a larger room than necessary, at an increased cost. not the hotel's fault of course. my advice would be to book early if possible.

I will return any time! Andrea at the reception was most helpful and service minded. We got a beautiful room nr. 211 with a Beach view. Newly upgraded with a large and comfortable bed and a new bathroom. It is a family driven hotel in the center of Desenzano, and it has everything you need. They are all very helpful and service minded. Some of the rooms are quite small, so make sure you book for what you need. Great price and value for money. The breakfast is delicious. A great selection of bakery, egg, yogurth, fruit, juices, coffee and cold cuts. The service is amazing and they are so friendly. Breakfast time was very pleasant. When a taxi was no where to find, Andrea called on his nephew, who readily acted as a cabdriver to the local train station. Thank you! I can highly recommend this hotel. (I also stayed the week before in a small room 217, this is for single guests only as it is VERY small and the luggage need to be small. Comfortable bed and no view) Just make sure to book for the appropriate use.

The airconditioning does not work very well

Room was big and comfortable. Bathroom too. Restaurant had a beautiful view to the lake. Breakfast was wonderful and staff who served it were two very nice ladies.

The room didn't have a full view to the lake as advertised, the window was small, and was on a very noisy street. Staff didn't talk English well, and was not too helpful. The hotel needs to renovate some decorations like the pot with dead plants outside the restaurant.
