I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Gardinetto. It’s a lovely, family run hotel with an ideal location between the train station and the lakeshore - both walking distance. There’s always someone around to greet you as you come in or to help if needed. The staff were kind enough to let me check in early with my heavy backpack- no questions asked! I don’t speak Italian but the language barrier wasn’t an issue. The breakfast was nice. The room was simple, but had everything you could need. The room and bathroom were kept very clean and you are given plenty of towels and the basic toiletries. It was a great price for the service provided.

It didn’t bother me but the hotel is located on a roundabout and some may find it a bit noisy. Earplugs would fix this.

There was a large wardrobe in the room. - Everything was clean and working as intended. - Nice, friendly staff. - Traditional, homely vibe of the hotel, enjoyed it a lot. - Great view from the window - could see the castle and some of the Garda lake in the distance. - Really good breakfast.

- Honestly, everything was great :) - This is not a complaint, but just take into account that the hotel is located at a rather busy intersection, therefore you can hear vehicles driving by all the time. Did not bother me too much though.

The receptionist treats her wonderfully, kindly, and welcoming, as well as the owner of the hotel, Mrs. Sarah, who is very kind and cheerful, and takes the initiative to help and provide any assistance to make your stay special and feel like you are at home.

Perfect location

There was a small window under the ceiling in my room so that it is impossible to look out of it. The walls in the room were completely empty, it would be nice to decorate them. I felt like I was in a basement, even though it was the first floor.

An old-school or even a quaint hotel. Great location. The room was spacious and clean. It seemed the windows have had an upgrade because there was no traffic noise from the streets. Tasty breakfast. Friendly staff. Free parking.

No fridge in the room.

The Hotel is a bit old school but the staff was very friendly and helpful. We onyl spent there 1 night driving through North-Italy. The breakast was also ok, and we got free parking. I would recommend to anyone to spend there a short stay.

Good value for money. Convenient location about 10 minutes walk down slight incline from railway station and just over 5 minutes walk to ferry terminal, so very well situated. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Allowed us to check in quite late (just before 22:00). Would stay again.

Great location in the city, close to the pedestrian zone and beach, available small parking, good breakfast, extremely helpful people.

It would help to have fridge in the room and if the A/C was more efficient.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel for a couple of nights while exploring the beautiful Lake Garda. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was good, and the cappuccinos were superb. A delightful experience all around.
