The rooms are incredible. The son of the owner is super welcoming and helpful Lots of space, beautiful views, luxurious rooms, position is 2’ away from the dome

A true gem in the heart of Florence. We loved everything about this hotel. The building is a historical structure that has been beautifully renovated while maintaining its old architecture, it gives you surreal feeling. The room was fully equipped with every amenity we could think of and more. The location is just perfect, it is a walking distance from all the touristic sites and has breathtaking views of the Duomo, which is a 1-minute walk away. The service was flawless, especially Francesco who was extremely helpful and welcoming. He gave us great recommendations for lunch and dinner and our kids loved him. We stayed in the machiavelli suite, which had a comfortable sofa bed in the living room for the kids and a gorgeous master bedroom. The hotel is pure luxury, we will always choose this hotel when visiting Florence.

Beautiful building, amazing location! The facilities were extremely clean and the building was historic yet appointed with modern amenities. Leonardo was an excellent host and went above and beyond.

There could have been a phone in the room to contact the front desk, but this is a minor gripe.

we booked a suite and the view of the duomo was breathtaking. it was right at the center but at the same time very safe and quiet. the staff were super helpful and kind. getting to the hotel i would recommend getting a taxi because driving in the streets of florance can be challenging.

the shower is very small and there was a smell from the bathroom at the end of our stay.

The Tower Suites are indeed a luxury. Right in the centre of Florence but in a quiet corner. I must say this exceeded my expectations. Everything and more a 5-star experience offers. Not sure we wanted to leave, kept coming back to chill in between sightseeing. I loved seeing the odd tour group gazing up at our tower as the guide explained the age and significance of the building, felt like I was immersed in Florences history.

location was fantastic. Staying home n one of the old towers was really cool. The staff were exceptional. and the fact that they have no room service capabilities allows them to keep the price down. There are plants of restaurants within seconds and minutes.

The beds were too firm for my taste.

We stayed at Donati Luxury Tower in mid May and I cannot give enough praises on the experience. For anyone looking into booking this place I cannot recommend this enough. I doubt anyone booking will get many other opportunities in staying on a property with almost a millennium of history like Donati Luxury Tower. Overall a 5+ star experience, from the friendliness and attention of the staff, to the quality and finishes of the rooms are all top notch. Plus, the location is unbeatable, within walking distance to Florence historical staple locations. I am excited for staying at Donati Luxury Tower during a future opportunity on my next visit to Florence.

Everything about the stay was exceptional. Location was fantastic

We were offered valet parking for our car. Unfortunately the valet isn’t at the hotel. It took over an hour for our car to be retrieved at which point we were late for our flight. If it wasn’t for this issue it would have been one of our best stays

What a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Florence. The suite is located in a renovated old building in Florence. The suite was massive, clean, had all the amenities, a beautiful and well stocked bathroom, and was brand new. Our host Irene was fantastic. She made sure that we felt at home and knew how to use everything. Irene gave us wonderful ideas about things to do in Florence. There is also a fantastic terrace at the top of the Luxury Tower that overlooks the beautiful skyline of Florence. Make sure you take a look. Overall, a wonderful stay and we cannot wait to come back!!!
