Location, location and location. The location is perfect, just in the city center and close to everything. The check in and check out was good, the breakfast had a small selection but really tasty and the room was small but only for myself so didn´t need more. It was clean and had everything I needed.

The location is fantastic, only a few steps away from the "Duomo", close to the train station, and ideally situated for walking through the winding centuries-old Florentine streets. The options for dining and wine are too numerous to count - I found quiet, side-street trattorias with great food, less expensive, and with terrific wines by the glass as opposed to the noisier and crowded restaurants located where being seen is more important than enjoying a fabulous dining experience.

My only issue: no iron in the room nor available by request. I am not clear why this is so but the desk has been instructed to say it is a matter of "security". Balderdash. Sending clothing out for cleaning and ironing was not only a challenge but ridiculously expensive. In my 42 years as a manager in the hospitality industry, I never worked for a property that did not have irons at least available for guests to use, even at a remote fishing lodge in Alaska.

The location of the hotel is perfect! You stay in the heart of the city and every highlight is only a short walk away.. It is especially advantageous for solo female travellers. The staff is very friendly and helpful about all the recommendations.

There is not any vegetable in the breakfast. People who like eating tomatoes, green leaf vegetables or olives in the morning would be unsatisfied. Especially heads up for Turkish people :)

I had an amazing stay at Hotel De Lanzi in Florence! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the major attractions. Whether it’s the Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, or Ponte Vecchio, everything is just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, making it a great place to unwind after a day of exploring. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Florence!

Great location, a few steps to Duomo. Some rooms face the spectacular sight of Duomo. Ponte Vecchio and other attractions are all very close and easily walkable. The hotel is great. It's comfortable and clean, also very reasonably priced. We occupied 2 rooms, double and single for our son. The single was very small, however, clean and perfectly adequate. Hopefully in a place such as beautiful Florence - little time to be spent in room due to the sightseeing. Breakfast is simple again, perfectly fine. The hotel could do with a good lick of paint and the dark traditional woods add to a old fashioned look. It's not the most beautiful hotel by far but we found v comfy beds and clean everywhere. Coupled with location and price, it's a good place to stay.

Would have loved tea and coffee making facilities in rooms. There are none. You can go to reception 24hr though and they will make a hot drink for a fee. Cup of tea 2.5 euro. Lady who worked in breakfast room was a little grumpy with us but all other staff were great.

Best possible location just near to Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. Even we have view of it from our window. 20 minutes walk from the train station. Clean well maintained hotel with friendly and helpful personal. Very sweet lady work in restaurant. Room was big enough with comforable beds. There is a kettle also there. Hotel has special atmosphere that keep you feel in middle centuries the same as Florence itself.

Location of this hotel is amazing! You can see Basilica Santa Maria del Fiore from your window and reach it for 2 minutes walk. There are lots of cafes and restaurant around. The center of Florence is not big so you can walk to Galleria degli Uffizi or Galleria Academia for 5 - 10 minutes. The Hotel is clean. Very polite and attentive stuff. Breakfast is really good: coffee, juices, sandwiches, yougurt, fruit, etc.

The room was too cold

The location was fantastic. We had a view of the bell tower. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was not a bad size and clean. Breakfast was good.

If you like a VERY firm mattress, this room is for you. I think the bar was for looks and to say they had a bar rather than an actual place to get a drink, or ice, the ice machine was broken for our entire stay.

Communication with hotel was great as I contacted them prior to my stay about upgrading the room, were able to provide options for my stay, breakfast was great and staff were friendly and approachable throughout my stay in Firenze. Also as a little note my room had a great view of the Duomo!

You literally couldn’t beat the view from our room. We were one block from the duomo. You didn’t need to worry about losing your key because you left it at the desk when you left. Breakfast was nice. There was a little outdoor area off the lobby. The staff was fantastic! It had elevators! AC!

Leaving the key also meant we had to ask for it back which wasn’t bad but we felt like a bother. Elevators were tiny and always felt like they would break but hey it worked! The beds weren’t the best and really needs at least one extra pillow. Breakfast could have had more options, one time i for a hard boiled egg and the next was soft boiled and cracked on the table.
