Great location, 4 minute walk from the Duomo, it was on a quiet street, could not hear noise from the outside. Staff were helpful, had no issues, I could leave my suitcase after checking out since I had time before my flight. Room and bathroom were clean, bed was comfortable.

Walls were thin and you could hear noise from other rooms, there were teenagers staying on the same floor who made a lot of noise during the night. Breakfast had very limited options, only few things to choose from. Bed was comfortable but pillows were not great.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. I stayed here immediately after landing myself in the emergency room via ambulance. The lady at the front desk helped me to download an app for food delivery and brought me hot tea via room service. She was very helpful in explaining breakfast times and how to get around nearby locations. The room was beautiful and much bigger compared to other bookings I've had in Florence and other Italian cities.

I have zero complaints.

The location of Hotel California is perfect, right in the middle of the main tourist attractions. The Room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is amazing, plenty of food to choose from. The staffs were friendly as expected.

The Rooftop could be opened during the day for Hotel guests to sightseeing.

The location was perfect, very close to the main squere and there is a public parking next door to the hotel. The staff was friendly and we spent 3 real nice days. My room was in a good size for a family of 3 adults and a baby.

Unfortunatelly we were not lucky enough to get the room with a view. Parking was perfectly places next door but, as everywhere in Florencen price is a bit expensive.

Other visitors made lots of noise during nights and the shower was so tiny it was hard to use. The scrambled eggs on breakfast were so bad I couldn't eat them (dry and crazy salty).

Good location close to the Duomo. The reception were very helpful and moved me to a better room after I expressed disappointment about the single room I originally booked. The double room was great with a large bathroom and very tasteful old style furnishings. There was a minibar!

The original single room I booked was not good - poor wifi signal, only 1 electrical socket in the whole room, a noisy fuse board in the room left a permanent buzzing noise. There was cracks in the wall.

beautiful old building, typical antique florentine decor. Elevator. Nice courtyard. My single room was small but comfortable and impeccably clean. Excellent location a short walk from the Duomo, sights, restaurants and shopping. walking distance from the train station. Very friendly and helpful staff, kept my suitcase until the evening and called a taxi for me. Pay parking garage basically next door. Good value for the price.

Only minus would be that breakfast was only adequate for those who need an “excellent “ breakfast … but didn’t affect me since I only have a cappuccino for breakfast and that was on point.

It was central to the action in Florence. The hotel was pretty fancy looking, the bathroom was very clean and marble. The tv worked. the guy at the desk gave me a good recommendation for gelato late at night. the staff were nice. the breakfast was pretty good and there was a nice terrace to eat out on.

My room was particularly small, but I don’t mind much, but the toilet kept running. You had to turn your key in at the front desk every time you went out, but the front desk was manned 24/7, so it didn’t take long to get it when you came back.

Fantastic location between the Academia and Uffizi museums, and easy walking everywhere. The room was large and comfortable. It is a historic building so has wear and tear but a very nice feel. The staff are friendly and have some English and good communication. Breakfast included.

This was very close to the attractions in Florence. The complimentary breakfast was nice and the staff were so nice. We liked that we were able to put our luggage in the lobby after we checked out due to our later flight.

We didn’t like that you had to pay for wifi. For the price of the room, I would have thought you could include wifi.
