We had a room with a sea view + a balcony. The beach was just below and we could go there any time. The swimming pool was also nice, but the weather wasn't that warm that we would have liked to sit by the pool, we just swam. The bathroom was nice, a lot of warm water. Beds were good, pillows a bit hard for us. The cleaning ladies came every morning to make to beds and clean the room +++ The breakfast was good, one could get for scrambled eggs&bacon if needed. I even got a hot tea pot to our table when I asked. The personal was very frendly and helpful and thoughtful as well. The receptionist, Philippo, was great!

There were quite much mosquitos and we couldn't keep the balcony door open in the evenings.

The hotel was exactly what we were looking for to experience Ischia, the location straight on the beach was perfect and a very short walk to all the exceptional restaurants and great access to the bus terminal and port for exploring other parts of the island and nearby Prochida. For us the price was great value, the staff were exceptionally helpful and the cleaning staff were fantastic I don’t think I’ve stayed anywhere before where the room has been cleaned and towels changed daily.

While there was always sun beds available at the pool, a number were broken (but still usable) and often it was noticeable other guests took up multiple sun beds in excess of the number of people using them - but we were always able to find one for ourselves.

The hotel is a great value. The location is perfect. Close to the port and Ischia Ponte (both walking distance), and right on the beach. The staff at the hotel are really lovely. I am gluten and lactose intolerant and they had a whole breakfast for me ready every day after learning that on day 1. The manager is also really great and helpful. It has a very homey vibe. The room itself is pretty basic but large and the AC was the best I had all trip in Italy, and I got a seaside room which had a cute balcony overlooking pool and beach, def worth it to upgrade to that. Cleaning services were great, there is a fridge in the room.

The bed was a bit hard and only a sheet as cover (no additional duvet bedding available in closet)

Wonderful, friendly, and helpful staff from front desk, to breakfast servers, to cleaning ladies for our room. Breakfast was extensive and very good with many options. Eggs and bacon offered most mornings. Breakfast served in a pretty dining room with inside and outside seating. Pool area is nice. Front desk staff helped us reserve a scooter and were very helpful with area suggestions. The hotel does own part of the beach, but no chairs or chair rental available at that area. There is chair rental available at other parts of the beach. Room and bathroom were up to date and cleaned daily.

Only complaint was location of air conditioner blew cold air on your head all night even when turned up to a higher temperature. It would run blowing harder as it cooled, but even when it shut off it still blew air. It was too warm to have off completely. Im not sure how this could be resolved.

We loved Hotel Ambasciatori. Our welcome from Mario was so warm and friendly. Our room was lovely and breakfast was superb. Philippe arranged a car hire for us which was so easy and excellent value for money. All hotel staff were very friendly. close (but not too close) to the main facilities in Ischia Port. A wonderful base for touring this lovely Island. Cant wait to go back and will use this hotel as a base for touring the whole island. spa area was a lovely surprise!

Nothing - its a delight to stay in!

We enjoyed the lovely warm clean pool which had plenty of sunbeds around it. I also had a fantastic and fairly priced massage with the resident masseur. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was comfortable. We also enjoyed eating breakfast on the terrace with the sound of of the sea as background.

We ate dinner in the restaurant one evening, and while the food was good, the restaurant was brightly lit and and lacked atmosphere. It would have been nice to have the option to eat outside.

The staff at the hotel is exceptional, and truly went out of their way to guide us to maximize our stay for value, and by organizing bus and boat tickets. Philippe was fantastic! The breakfast was excellent, and the spa facilities great at the end of eventful days to regain our energy.

As it was still early April and at the beginning of the travel season, the pool facilities and sundeck were not in function yet, and we could not reach the beach directly from the hotel. That was a bit of a disappointment, but next time we will make sure to visit later in the calendar year and make use of the wonderful beach and pool!

Service level is 5 star. Very attentive and friendly staff. Nice smaller pool area, from there you are right at the beach. Good breakfast, amazing coffee and can choose eggs etc as you like, made to order. Very good location, as I came by ferry as most people, i just walked up to the hotel and then the same all over the city to various restaurants, boat trips etc. If you have bigger bags you may want to take a cab as it takes you 15 min and its a few hills to get there.

All the staff wonderful. Everyone treated me with great kindness. On the first day they told us what to see and how to get there. Even the smallest problem was approached with great commitment. The whole reception and the owner of the hotel have created a wonderful atmosphere, so I know that I will definitely return to this place. Wonderful crew! As for the hotel - very nice and well maintained. You can feel at home in it. The location is wonderful. On the one hand very close a beautiful beach, and on the other a lively street. I recommend to also try the food at the restaurant at the hotel. I was positively surprised. The croissant's served for breakfast are insane! The best ones I've ever eaten.
