The room and bathroom both looked beautiful and the bed was really comfortable. Quick and easy walk to both of the city gates that lead into the historical city center. But the absolute highlight was the breakfast each day: freshly prepared by the most friendly couple of owners that you could wish for, it was by far the best breakfast we had on our trip, or maybe even on any trip.

Just a couple of minor points. The accommodation is on the second floor (as is clearly stated on Booking.com) and there is no elevator, so it was a bit of a climb each time in the middle of the heatwave. The airconditioning could just barely keep up with the extreme temperature outside, something we experienced in other accommodations as well. And having to go through the communal hallway to get from bedroom to bathroom each time was a last minor inconvenience. Didn’t spoil our happy stay here!

I liked staying in this B&B because it was clean, pleasant and had very friendly and relaxed hosts. Coming from w busy city like mine ( London), where I work pretty hard, I needed to unwind and be surrounded by friendly people and lots of Sun. The breakfast were superb- served everyday with something new and very much of the local Italian style! I ate new cheese, drank great Italian coffee and ate lots of nice pastries! The bathroom was of a great size and bed was comfy! All very clean and close to the town where I found myself everyday and never was bored of Lecce where I stayed for 9 days!

This is a fantastic independent bed and breakfast for a single person or a couple. The rooms were clean, and it’s really close to the old town. The breakfast was the highlight of the stay. It’s freshly prepared by Salvio and his partner (the kindest people) and it’s the most delicious healthy breakfast I’ve had for a very long time. I note that there are quite a few stairs to get to the apartment, so it’s not suitable for disabled, and newborns with prams.

Salvio and Monica are such a nice hosts. Honestly one of the best b&b experience I've ever had. Fresh breakfast prepared and served right in front of us, Salvio even made a delicious bread which was still hot while served. This is the kind of treatment every guest wish for while booking a holiday. They went even further with my request for a flower bouquet for my mom's 60th birthday. It was a beautiful memory which will stay with us forever. The location is perfect, close to the train station and even closer to the center. Walkable distance everywhere. You can tell that the place is created with love as every detail is stunning. We stayed in the sea themed room, and it was beautiful.

The stay was awesome. The hosts were highlx responsive and absolut adorable. The breakfast was prepared fresh everyday (you could choose between sweet and salty, different stuff everyday) incl. an introduction what the regional peoducts served. The room was nicely furnitured with an eye for details. It was clean and quiet. The distance to the city center ws appr. 10min by foot. We can highly recommend to stay there and would come back everytime.

We stayed in HABITARE for 4 nights and we are very satisfied! We had the chance to have an amazing breakfast every morning, by the host - Salvio, prepared with so much passion and attention to details! The room was very cozy and had a very good balcony view of Lecce. Everything was kept clean. Salvio and his wife were very polite and helpful. The location was great. So much love for this place 🌻

good location for the historical city, about 10 mins walk away. Parking n the area was free of charge. salvio ( owner) was very helpful, friendly & prepared an amazing breakfast each day.Promt response to messages too.to messages. excellent wifi.

the clothes rail was placed too high in the room. Although the room was a good size there was nothing to place a suitcase on. two floors up in an old building, so lots of stairs tho Salvio carried our luggage up & down.

This is a fabulous property . as others have said the photos almost don’t do it justice . it is a place that you can see the owner Salvio really cares about . The thought that has gone into the design the high quality of the furnishing and the bedding just wonderful . The water pressure in the bathroom fantastic and air con and wifi perfect. The breakfast is the best breakfast you could possibly have in the whole of Italy . There is a choose of Sweet or the savory Salento breakfast . Both prepared by Salvio every morning and served in the beautiful dining area . We did not eat again until the evening it was so good . This stay has been the highlight of our visit to Italy both due to the service and quality . Yes as the information says there are stairs but so worth the climb . Location to the main sites and the station also perfect .

As most reviews already said, the breakfast is amazing. Everyday it was one of the things we looked forward to. The host are amazing. The room has everything you need. We liked the bed, it was very comfortable. I really liked the blinds, so the room could stay dark till we woke up. It could not have been better.

Only on one side of the bed is a socket present, but that is a small detail
