It's exactly what you want from a historic old town location. The staff couldn't be more helpful and it's worth popping up onto the roof for a pre dinner drink and snack to take in the sunset. Offering parkings is a great plus and the car is very safe for your stay. Helpful guidance when parking is a blessing...you'll see what I mean when you get there.

There's nothing to complain about

A gracious building located in the heart of the city, the location really couldn't be better. You enter through large impressive gates which when they are closed at night make the hotel really quiet and peaceful. All the staff were kind and helpful. The reception personnel gave us some very good recommendations of where to eat and were obliging. Breakfast is taken in a beautiful room with a crystal chandelier .....all very impressive, matched by a delicious breakfast. The roof garden open to only residents has the most spectacular views and is a perfect place to end your day.

Palazzo Rollo is a magical place! The building, service, staff, rooms and especially the rooftop are all amazing! The location inside Centro Storico is fantastic—right in the middle of the lively evening passegiatta, walking distance to everything you want to see. The rooftop is stunning—so lush with flowers and plants, with multiple seating areas and gorgeous sunset views. In the morning we brought our cappuccino and Pasticiotto from Bar Matinica up to the roof and enjoyed aperitifs and snacks in the evening. Palazzo Rollo is an exceptional experience!

This place is a gem. A beautiful manor house filled with soul, culture and character. The large garden roof is impressive. Like being in a botanical garden. To sit there in the warm evening with a glass of wine, watching the sunset above the roof tops and the birds circling to find a night spot to rest. Wow. And in the middle of Lecce old town! Rooms are beautiful and immaculate. Look at the exquisite Italian floor tiles! Books you can look at or even read (I did!). The detailed work that has been put into making this a beautiful and comfortable place to stay is outstanding.

Parking. This location has a small courtyard which can take a few cars. When you make a reservation there is no way to know if you really can park there unless you contact the location ahead of time. If there is no space you will have to park on the street 600 meters away. That is a 1.2 kilometer walk back and forth from the location- if you find a parking space there. In our case there was no parking available despite my understanding that there was. No fault whatsoever of this b&b. They responded nicely to my frustration in stride, and I appreciate that.

It really felt like we were staying in a Palazzo. 3) On-site parking in a secured courtyard … excellent 4) room was very spacious and decorated with old world charm 5) bathroom was very spacious and included a bathtub! 6) balcony overlooking the courtyard 7) entire property (room and common areas) were kept immaculately clean 8) staff was outstanding throughout, especially when my wife had a medical issue after office hours. They looked after her and ensured she received proper medical treatment …. even drove her to the care clinic and stayed with her until she was released!

Beautiful little Palazzo. Lots of nice furniture and family heirloom (paintings, objects etc) Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Beautiful rooftop. Well situated.

The first room we had was terrible!! An old kitchen with a Kitchen sink and hardly no windows, DO NOT get this room. We managed to upgrade and we got a beautiful room but since it was on the street side it was a bit noisy.

The property was exceptional. An historic villa that was lovingly restored and full of beautiful furniture and historic items. Ivy growing on the walls of the interior courtyard and the wonderful rooftop garden added to the ambience. The staff were extremely warm and Natia was exceptionally helpful when I had to send a parcel to Australia. The room was large and beautifully furnished and tea and coffee making facilities in the adjoining lounge were appreciated. I have no hesitation in recommending this Palazzo as a superb place to stay when visiting Lecce.

The magnificent rooftop terrace. Every afternoon we would spend time there with a few aperitifs and exceptional views. The location was perfect, everything is available on foot and there are so many restaurants and places for food & drink around. Everyone we encountered from the staff were amazing and so polite, couldn't be more pleased.

Unfortunately our first impression was so disappointing. As I approached the entrance of the hotel, we were welcomed by a screaming lady (the owner) shouting at us to get out! She didn't appreciate the size of my rental car and after I told her that we had a reservation there, she let us come in. This was the only negative thing about our stay, the rudeness of this woman. Once again, I have to mention that everyone else on the staff were amazing and we thank them.

Right in the centre of the Old Town of Lecce. The inner courtyard was beautiful as you drive into the private entry. The rooftop terrace was filled with succulents & plants looking over the rooftops, you can even see the Bell Tower of the main Piazza. Lots of restaurants closeby. Apertivo between 5-7pm was most enjoyable taking in the Lecce sunset.

The beds & pillows need replacing. Most uncomfortable.
