Our stay at this bed & breakfast in Lipari, Italy, was an absolute delight. The charming ambiance and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The room was cozy and well-appointed, providing us with all the comforts we needed for a relaxing stay. The daily breakfast spread was a delightful surprise, with a variety of delicious local treats that fueled us for our island adventures. The location was ideal, just a short stroll away from the town center and the stunning beaches. The hosts were incredibly attentive and accommodating, offering excellent recommendations for exploring Lipari's hidden gems. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to unwind and explore. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Italian experience!

The facilities at Diana Brown seemed brand new. Everything was spotless and there was a great atmosphere. Our room was very comfortable, we even cooked at home twice, breakfast was a great start to the day and we were within walking distance of the town's main sites. When we booked in the receptionist, Jasmine, gave us lots of details about island cruises, beach clubs, and taxi tours of the island. She was a fantastic receptionist.

This is a lovely property. It is very convenient to everything. We liked the staff they were very professional helpful and friendly. The shuttle bus to the beach was greatly appreciated. The breakfast area was very nice and had a good variety of food to choose from. The staff were bright and friendly every morning. We also really enjoyed our own private kitchen and terrace where we enjoyed many meals.

Generous and well prepared breakfast served in a part-covered terrace on the 2nd floor. Bit of an effort to get up there, but well worthwhile. Especially valued the home made marmalade. Everyone seemed determined to be helpful. For instance, it seemed that it was no trouble that we missed our ferry and arrived an hour late. Excellent bathroom, comfy bed and reliable wifi - they do the basics well.

Flights of stone steps a bit hard for ageing bones with heavy cases.

Perfectly located B&B at the heart of Lipari, very charming atmosphere. Rich breakfast buffet and nice clean rooms. We had the opportunity to choose two rooms on the second floor (one with a nice terrace and a kitchenette) which we enjoyed very much, not least because of the panoramic view. But in any case, there is also a terrace for common use of all guests. Having been on the Eolian Islands for more than ten times, in our view this is a highly recommended place to stay in Lipari, offering very good value for money. If we come back to the Eolie (which we very much hope...), we will certainly book again.

The excellent location, the good-sized rooms, the comfortable beds, the satisfying breakfasts, the good showers, and the clean and well-maintained property were all reasons for this high rating, but the helpful and welcoming staff made the weekend we stayed truly memorable.

There are some steep stairs which might prove difficult for some, especially if you have very heavy suitcases, but there are rooms on the ground floor also. But this is Sicily, not noted for its flatland.

great location! very clean and well appointed (thoughtful touches like a wine opener, wash bin and clothesline - so helpful to have while traveling). excellent breakfast. warm and helpful staff. They provided a packed breakfast to accommodate our early morning departure and went above and beyond in helping us arrange a late night water taxi

Diana Brown was a highlight of our trip to the Aeolian Islands - its reputation is well earned. Christina was a fabulous host who provided many helpful recommendations upon arrival. The property is extremely clean and well kept and our first floor bedroom was large, clean with many helpful additions such as a fridge, balcony with clothes hanger, cups, glasses and tableware. The shower was also excellent. The breakfast is superb with wonderful coffee and homemade cakes and biscuits.

Excellent customer service! Christina, who checked us in, was really nice and even made us fresh orange juice for breakfast on our last day. She also helped us in finding a rental car and gave us a couple restaurant recommendations which we really enjoyed. The bed was also comfortable and the shower head was great. Clean room and excellent location in the center.

Aesthetically, the room could definitely use some updates. Although the room had a balcony, we didn't use it because the view wasn't so nice. We weren't in the room much anyway so it didn't bother us at the end. The key was also a little difficult when opening the door, but again didn't detract from our stay.

Comfy bed, good shower, useful kitchenette, quiet street, lovely communal rooftop. Super friendly helpful staff :) Went as a couple in Feb 2023, good heating, beautiful weather. Incredibly beautiful island, some of the most stunning views we've ever seen, especially of the surrounding volcano islands as we scootered and hiked around. Thank you! 100% recommend
