A lovely location in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. Our hostess was lovely and hospitable. Other reviews mention noise from the nearby Duomo (Cathedral) bells - this is unfair, as they did not ring overnight, stopping between 11pm and 7am. We both got lovely sleeps in a comfortable en-suite room with good airconditioning. Every morning we had a lovely cooked breakfast, from our balcony, overlooking a garden courtyard. There are nearby restaurants, including a very nice one literally beneath Casa Mariannina. The stay was great, and unlike Amalfi and Positano, there was a more authentic vibe without crowds and crowds of tourists. We would definately stay here again.
Googlemaps has the location of Casa Mariannina slightly incorrect, at the top of via Santa Scala (the stairs/road where it is located). This will take you to the Duomo entrance, instead. The best option is to search for Bar Il Quadrifoglio (which it sits directly above) and go up the stairs to the entrance.

First of all, let me say thank you to our hosts! They were expecting us and had the room ready. We had complementary water. The room was sparkling clean and had all we needed. Now let's talk about the breakfast, it was amazing. One morning we had a talk and the host said: "It's my job to make sure you have a great breakfast before you leave to explore".
Its not something bad, just something to keep in mind. Our room was somehow under the bell from the church and it's quite loud. We didn't mind because we were going to wake up early anyways. Not a deal breaker but something to keep in mind.

We've had an amazing stay at Casa Mariannina. The location is perfect - right at the main pedestrian street and in the same time there was no noise at all ( accept of the church bells of course :D ). If you follow the stairs, which lead you to the front door of Casa Mariannina you can take The Path of Lemons - a beautiful walk to the neighbouring city - Minori. The room was small but enough for us. It looks just like in the pictures. In the bathroom however is more than enough space. The best part were our private balcony, where every morning we enjoyed an excellent homemade breakfast!

Our stay at Casa Marianinni was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home thanks to the warm welcome from the hosts. The location is unbeatable, as it allowed us to easily connect to all the towns along the Amalfi Coast via the ferry, making exploring the region incredibly convenient. What truly made our stay memorable were the delicious homemade breakfasts prepared by Angela for us each morning. The fresh ingredients and attention to details made each breakfast a culinary delight. Furthermore, the personalized attention and local recommendations from the hosts made our experience even more special.
The only problem are the stairs when you have suitcases to lift up and are not young & strong any more 🤷🏼♀️

Our room was facing a small square with no balcony. But we found ourself to enjoy the common balcony facing a more quiet backyard. Here also breakfast was served. And just to repeat others here. It was amazing. Served by the mother of the one welcommed us. She also gave suggestions on what to do. We of cource did the lemon hike to Miniori. We think Maiori and Casa Mariannina is the best place to stay if you want to explore Amalfi. Frequent buses to every corner.
Even there was a common small fridge for all 5 rooms we could wish for a small private fridge in the room. Else nothing.

Casa Mariannina was amazing, the house is beautiful giving a very calm and fresh vibe, feels relaxing and comfy. The situation is very good and in a very cute point full of life. Angela, who is the Mamma Regent of the house is a very beautiful and welcome person, she makes the best breakfast I’ve ever seen, my friend is celiac and she was making the exact same amazing breakfast for both of us, just gluten free for her: croissant, crepes, toasts with tomato and mozzarella…and more! just wonderful! I felt very safe and comfortable there, If I go back to Maiori I definitely will go back here, thank you Angela, I wish you the best! Irene.
Nothing, everything fantastic

-very clean. - close to the beach -excellent service -very good breakfast -close to restaurants and shopping You can walk pretty much anywhere you need to go Keep in mind there’s about 20 steps uphill that you need to climb with your luggage when you arrive.
There’s a bell that rings from the church nearby that starts at 6am and goes until I believe it was around 11. So if you like to sleep in ask for a room away from the church.

Gorgeous place! The room and bathroom were large and spotless clean, had everything you could need. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Very centrally located, you step out and are on the main promenade street with terracess and restaurants. And the host was genuinely the nicest of people, very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this place and we would definitely go back!
Everything was perfect

The room was spacious, tastefully decorated to feel both homey and luxurious, and wonderfully clean! The location was great, dead center in the middle of main street near restaurants and shops, a five-minute walk from the boardwalk, beaches and ferry kiosk, and right at the beginning of the "Sentiero dei Limone", the famous lemon trail hike between Maiori and Minori. When I opened my window and looked out onto the main square, I felt like I was in a movie. I loved waking up every morning to a hot cappuccino and a homemade breakfast that included local pastries, which changed from day to day so it didn't get repetitive. One morning I had to leave too early to eat breakfast because I was catching a ferry to Capri, and Angela (the woman who runs the B&B) was waiting for me when I woke up with a little pastry in a paper bag for the road, so I didn't go off hungry--an unexpected kindness that I really appreciated ❤️
Honestly, I have zero complaints. If I was staying in town longer, a kitchen or bar fridge might have been nice, but it's a B&B and the description very clearly specifies that there is no kitchen, so I wasn't expecting one. People with mobility issues might want to note that the entrance is up a somewhat steep flight of stairs, which was not at all a problem for me, but might be tricky for someone with bad knees or who struggles going up and down stairs.

Everything was perfect. They let us check in early. The breakfasts were different every day and were very good. (we were even asked at the entrance if we were allergic to anything) The location is very central. 5 minutes walking distance to the sea. Outside of the contracted ztl zone, there is a parking lot within 3-5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. 25 euro per day for 2023. All in all, a place where you will definitely not regret your stay. thank you for everything. See you next time
