The hotel is exceptionally clean, in excellent location steps away from the old town. The owner and sister very pleasant and welcoming. It had all basic facilities. I left last the breakfast which was phenomenal for a three star hotel

Things to improve: 1. wifi range. Today is very inexpensive to cover the area, instead of having one router for the whole hotel. 2. Extend the breakfast time by half an hour... 09:30 is very pressing. 3. Allow the car owners to come and go as they please. The fact that you need to leave the car out if you happened to return after 21:30 does not sound good especially when you charge 18 euros per day.

Exceptional hotel. We loved staying in this friendly family run hotel which was perfectly located close to the lake and the attractions of Malcesine but set back on a quieter road. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had an amazing view. We looked forward to the breakfasts every morning - a delicious spread including a vast range of fresh fruit, spreads, homemade juices, eggs to order, sweet treats in addition to the usual continental offering. Erika and her family were excellent hosts. We hope to return.

We would have loved to stay for longer : )

We got upgraded to room with the view of the castle and it was beautiful! The breakfast was amazing as everyone else has mentioned - I would eat so much that it would last me until just before dinner. The place has a really homely feeling to it and that's down to the service and friendly nature of Erika and her staff. The location of the hotel was super convenient as it's 5 minutes from the cable cart and 3 minutes from the main areas that's super nice. We found that malcesine was much nicer than all the tourist spots like riva del garda or sermione. It's also a bus ride away from castelletto which was a great spot to have dinner by the lake - highly recommend!

The hotel is in an excellent location, in a quiet street but a few minutes walk from cafes, restaurants, bars and a supermarket. It's also a few minutes walk away from a stunning lakeside walk with amazing mountain views. Erika and her staff were welcoming hosts who made us feel at ease. Erika was friendly and helpful, giving us local information and offering to keep our luggage until we were ready to leave. Breakfast was nice with a good selection of fruit and freshly cooked eggs. The room was clean and comfortable. Thank you for a lovely stay, Erika!

Was all good.

We were delighted with the location and especially Erika the owner. The breakfast room is extra large and the buffet exceptional...everything from eggs cooked to order, fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, breads, baked goods and healthy smoothies. The location makes everything walkable to her recommended restaurants, the castle and the funicular to the mountaintop. Underground secure parking is also a plus. Erika being extra friendly and multi-lingual makes it relaxing even for English-speaking guests too. We will be back on our next trip to Italy.

Hotel Erika is perfectly positioned close to all main sights and the town. it has its own secure garage so we did not need to use the car as everything was within walking distance. It is extremely clean and very comfortable. it has a very warm welcoming family feel about it. Erika could not have been more friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a huge choice. Little touches like biscuits on arrival and a gift on leaving made all the difference. My visit coincided with my birthday and I was given a bottle of wine.

We love how clean and conveniently located this hotel is. Absolutely sparkling clean and meticulously maintained hotel with a very good breakfast. It is 2 minutes walk to the beach, to Malcesine castle and old cute streets with restaurants and bars. There is a parking right at the entrance of the hotel, also a garage spot can be reserved with the owner.

This place is awesome! The location can't be beat--easy walking distance to Old Town and the cable car, but with its own parking garage. The facilities were spotless, comfortable, and gorgeous. The staff was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful (Erika is amazing!) There also is a cute bar and courtyard serving drinks most of the day until 10pm. On top of all of that, the breakfast was incredible--really delicious, with a huge selection. We hope to stay here again!

A minor point given how great this place is, but the air-conditioning is on a timer and shuts off in the morning, even if you're still there in bed...we were there during a heat wave, so that woke us up each morning. It's understandable given the high costs of electricity/gas/utilities this year, but perhaps the morning shut-off time could be increased until check-out, or slightly later than right after sunrise. Nevertheless, we'd still choose Hotel Erika again...the many positives definitely outweigh this one small issue.

The Hotel Erika is in a perfect location on a quiet street in close proximity to everything Malcesine has to offer. It was an oasis in the middle of the city. Breakfast is very healthy with an array of fruits and cereals. Erika’s mom bakes and helps out at the hotel. She baked a very tasty lemon cake while we were there. You are also offered eggs in addition to cheeses and meats and really everything to get started in the morning. Best of all the hostess Erika made our stay very memorable. She is helpful without being intruding and truly loves her family business. The hotel is not luxurious but very comfortable with everything for a very enjoyable stay.

Everything was very enjoyable.

Location was great, basically across the street from entry to the old town, hotel and rooms were clean and maintained well, breakfast was presented in a very attractive way, in a beautiful room with a huge selection. Hotel hostess was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

Pillows were very hard and made it somewhat uncomfortable to sleep on. Also, the room we were in had no reading lamps. The lights that were meant to be reading lights directed their light straight out, but not towards the bed.
