The location was superb as was the lady at the front desk. We did not have breakfast with our stay, but it was so easy to find a suitable breakfast place in the piazza. The lady at the front was ever so helpful even though she didn't speak a word of English we got by with a few laughs,

Nothing really as far as the accommodation went BUT we arrived at around 4pm on Saturday evening with driving within the main square closed and to find which way to go and where to go was a bit stressful - but we did it and didn't have any other problems for the rest of the time. I suggest - try and arrive a bit earlier if possible - we tried but were held up with an incident on the road, just couldn't be helped.

Location is perfect, right in the heart of the city, with a view over the local piazza. the staff are really helpful and friendly. They saved me getting my car towed away. Although there was no breakfast, there are plenty of choices near by. The room has been recently renovated but has kept its charm. The novelty of being woken by bird song rather than cars was refreshing. As with all old cities, you will be lucky to find parking near by, but 5 mins walk was no problem (just remember to park in the blue bays)! If you are here on a Thursday the is a huge local market.

brilliant location near everything I wanted to see. lovely big room. very clean and comfortable. staff helpful and efficient.

I would have liked to have reception desk, especially at night time. I hadn’t realised that in Italy two star means no reception. but I realise this wouldn’t bother other people.

Room lovely and very clean. Bottled water and fresh towels every day. Excellent location for city centre. As vegans breakfast was lovely as they catered for us to have vegan croissants and soya milk. Lovely staff. Very helpful.

Only downside was bed was a bit hard might be just us .

The hotel is so close to Palazzo Ducale, practically on the doorstep of the Rotunda and not too long a walk away from Palazzo Te either. We spent very little time in the room but it was a super comfy spot to come back to at the end of the day. The room was very spacious and the air conditioning saved us in the summer heat.

The hotel in Mantua was very central. We booked 3 rooms for 6 people and we were all happy. room was clean and personal was very friendly and helpful :) The breakfast was good price-value in my opinion :) If I come back I would book the same hotel :)

The hotel didn’t have much natural light. Might be because of the central location in the city Center as it’s surrounded by other buildings

All was more than perfect. Room, staff, breakfast. And you are a few meters from the city center. Practically when you go down on the street you are in the middle of the old town. There is a small problem when you arrive with the car but we found a place place somewhere nearby.

The only thing that could be better is an extended check in time....

A bathtub would have been helpful but the room advert said shower. It's the only think I can think of to improve the room.

As the hotel is in the city centre and windows of my room were from the side of a nice old market, I heard noises from the restaurants there at night, but still was able to sleep, so it is a minor flaw.

Everything was lovely. The staff very pleasant and helpful, a pretty and clean room, a beautiful, spotless bathroom.

For people who mind noise at night, not the best choice. But noise is expected in the centre of any town. No hooks in the bathroom.
