Superb stay at Il Cortile Di San Michele, the place has been beautifully restored with exquisite tastes! The location is close to Alba and convenient for wine tasting in the region. The breakfast was beyond our expectation, with fresh juices, baked cakes, eggs and else on demand… The team is charming, and we cannot wait to come back and big up to the restaurant Osteria Imperfetta near by.

Our stay was perfect, but we stayed only one night as we had booked another hotel closer to the Wineries as to avoid driving too much afterwards. Guarene is a little stretch by car if you’re tasting in Barolo and La Morra.

We loved our stay very much and tis is the first 10/10 I've given ever! - The ground floor room is PERFECT for travelling with a baby since it has a terrace in the front and you can leave your stroller outside. - Very good breakfast (a.o. fresh orange juice and pancakes) with delicious coffee - Staff wants to make you feel like kings and queens: they're super helpful and they give you lots of recommendations for discovering the area. They really go the extra mile to make your stay amazing (Thank you so much Rafaella!) - Exceptionally clean (which you can easily notice with a crawling baby) - Upon request, you can have a delicious fresh lunch in the hotel. - The room was very big and quiet: there was no noise from the street or from other rooms in the hotel

- An umbrella at the pool to provide some shadow would be a nice bonus

Of all the places we have stayed during our travels over the years, this is by far the most wonderful and memorable place! The interiors are tastefully designed and the courtyard and pool area are lovely and calm. These already by themselves would have been more than we could possibly have expected, but add to that the exceptional warmth and hospitality of Nadia and Raffaella and you have a place you'd want to rate far above 10/10!

The Junior Suite with Balcony is true to the photos, with a beautifully restored timber/brick ceiling, comfortable sitting area, desk and minibar. The balcony leads directly to the small but pleasant pool area, and everything is kept spotlessly clean. Breakfasts are generous and delicious, with pastries, bread, fresh fruit, juices, eggs and more. And most important, the service provided by owners Nadia and Viviana and their staff is unfailingly accommodating, helpful and kind.

An amazing place in a very beautiful village. this place is like heaven. the suite was big and well designed. breakfast was super tasty. Nadia the owner was the best. always try to help and gave us good recommendation on villages and resturant. you must go to the resturant in the village Osteria imperfetta

Great location, wonderfull staff, nice lunch upon arrival and a great breakfast! Rafaella (I hope I write this right) is a great host and understand the needs from customers! I will go again if i was in the area!

All is great, the only thing is that the pool area is somewhat small. What they might be able to do is offer diners?

This gorgeous and charming b&b is the best we ever stayed at! A fine and hidden treasure in the middle of an authentic Italian village Guarene. Nadia and her team were always there to help and gave us the best service you can imagine. Nothing was too much for them: yummy food for the kids (and us) , fruits and drinks at the pool, a great tasteful apero with topwines and bites,.. The only minor element was that we couldn’t stay in a family room with our 3 kids, although the youngest is only 2,5 yrs old which led us to sleep in 2 separate rooms with 1 on the other side of the hotel. But nevertheless we enjoyed our stay from beginning till end and will definitely recommend to friends & family! A true must-do when staying or looking for accommodation in Piemonte!

Fantastic junior suite with great view on the church/tower and surrounding area. Great hospitality and friendly staff. Good breakfast to start the day.

This is a beautiful hotel in Piedmonte. The rooms are modern, the staff is very welcoming, and the breakfast is delicious. We wish we spent more time at the hotel to enjoy the pool.

Note that the location is up a hill and it is most easily accessible with a car. There is however parking nearby.

Amazing stay, staff go above and beyond for their guests! Rooms are beautiful, breakfast is amazing and the surroundings are so peaceful and relaxing.

The air con wasn’t very strong/powerful so it was quite humid in the room during the august heatwave!
