The garden is an amazingly tranquil piece of nature in a busy town. Despite initial problems with transfer and checking in, waking up to birds singing and the scent of blooming trees was an incredible and relaxing experience. The foods offered for breakfast were fresh and genuine. We enjoyed a variety of freshly baked breads, homemade jams, and cake in a room decorated with owner's art. The property is good for relaxation and will be perfect for an off-grid holiday.

There were problems with communication and late check-in. One must keep in mind that self-check-in service is unavailable at the property which I found to be unusual being a frequent traveller. We paid an extra 50 EUR in addition to the daily rate for someone to let us in. One mosquito net was broken and the bathroom in our cottage badly needed renovation but overall our experience was a positive one.

How does one describe three nights accommodation in a place that felt like home. An exceptional place has been created here by the owners Marina and Salvatore. I am a solo female traveller, at 68 yrs meeting people is not the same as at 20 yrs. I was treated so wonderfully. Each booking has their own place, a small house with a kitchen, a large bedroom with a tv and aircon. The bathroom was a good size, toilet flush excellent 🙂it's important. Everything was simple, neat, clean and comfortable. The gardens are the highlight and there are paths that meander everywhere. There is a large swimming pool, lots of sculptures, peacocks which sadly now don't roam the property, chooks, a gorgeous dog and exceptional staff who were part of the family. The breakfast, a freshly baked cake, warm bread, homemade jams from the orange orchards, endless coffee, eggs, cheese, meat and much more.. If you want a reprieve from travelling and excessive crowds this is the place to be. Thank you Etna Botanic Gardens and Marina, Salvatore, Maria, Schara, Mordi it was memorable.

The location was very beautiful and its very nice to walk around the gardens even in winter, however I think it is probably much nicer during the Spring and Summer. The rooms were very nice and clean, including traditional Sicilian features. We had a little issue as something kept rattling on top of the roof and we couldn't sleep, however we told the staff in the morning and they were very helpful and got it sorted by the same evening.

The staff were very nice and helpful, however one small thing that could be improved is if they could give more information about amenities on site upon arrival.

We picked and travelled to Etna Botanic gardens because we have a 18 month year old and we wanted a gated location the was both shaded and somewhere for him to happily explore without danger of him escaping. this location was perfect for what we wanted. The apartment was small but had all the modern facilities that a small family would need (fridge, TV, bath & shower, air conditioning). The pool was covered by trees so was great for keeping our child in the shade whilst he played and explored pool the gardens, which themselves were beautiful. There we peacocks freely walking about the place which fascinated our child and also a koi carp pond with fish in. Everything about the place was perfect for a young child with excellent breakfasts, and meals for dinner if you booked in the morning. With the local town centre located 5 minutes walk away it was all we needed for a short stay away.

The owners and staff are really welcoming and helpful. Our youngest had her birthday whilst there and the owner was so nice to bake her a cake specially for her which our daughter was amazed with. The place is so beautiful that the photos are not justifiable enough. The place is very quite, peaceful and the peacocks roaming around with 3 cute dogs makes it even better. The pool area is very relaxing and beautiful. Just keep in mind that being surrounded by nature you might need to ask to get it cleaned from leaves etc. Just before you take a swim. We totally recommend this place. Close to many places by car like Taormina, Aci Castello, Nicolosi, Centro Sicila. Will surely visit again with more family members.

Some of the cottages have been renovated and they are just amazing. Will surely book those next time round. With the other cottages getting modernized as well it will make this place 10 out of 10 without any doubt. Just look into getting a mosquito repellent with you as a precaution but this is expected being that you will be surrounded by nature.

So glad we found this place, a real hidden gem in a busy area. Garden is beautiful and we really enjoyed walking through the grounds to spot the peacocks. The pool area was great with plenty of shade and the junior suite gorgeous.

Breakfast was a little disappointing, no fruit at all and only a limited selection on offer. Was disappointed to see plastic disposible cups for juice and not reusable ones. Storage in the room was also lacking and not well thought out.

As I wrote already ... if we would be again in area of Catania we would stay here again ... and we did. We liked the place and quality of the accomodation very much. You are in botanical garden, behind private gate in very calm and quiet environment. Staff is very kind and helpfull. Fireplace at breakfast room is just cherry on the pie. (it was November)

What I didn't like? I din't like I can't stay longer :-)

The place is lovely it reminded me of the secret garden. The hosts were all helpful. The gardens are very large and are lovely to walk around. We really enjoyed our night stay.

The gardens could be a little more kept up, the rooms were very comfortable but the floor is not very comfortable to walk on and the breakfast was quite minimal but still very good and enough for us who don't eat a large breakfast. On the whole it was lovely

The garden is massive and so relaxing. Room was lovely with a very nice shower and comfortable bed. Hosts were very accommodating and tended to our needs very efficiently.

The utensils in the kitchenette were not clean. Room should have a couple of clothes hooks for more convenience and a surface where one can use a laptop inside room would be a plus. Missed Fresh vegetables and fruit in breakfast.

Marina and Salvator are very nice people. They organized a transfer upon request, showed the sights and told where to spend time and leisure including Catania. Arranged the best trip to Taormina including the interesting boat trip and back to Garden. The apartments were as described. Very nice view of Etna. Very beautiful and old clean garden. Big pool. Good breakfast and quick feedback from the staff. Many birds and funny dog inside)).Crazy pleasant smell of blossoming orange and lemon trees!! Very satisfied with the reception and recommend to visit Botanic Garden.
