The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was good. Close to the station and the city centre an easy 15 minute walk. The room was big and the bed was comfortable and it was very clean. I would stay again.

Nothing really. Some people have commented that the furniture is old, but I think this hotel has character.

So close to the station and a very short walk to the Centro storico. Bed was comfy and was nice to have a bath and not just a shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you want a gym Fit Active is a 20 minute walk away and is fantastic.

There was nothing not to like

Great size room with a separate room for the double bed (room 106). The room and all public areas were clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. We had a problem with ants in the bathroom and this was quickly sorted out. Breakfast was good - not the best ever but perfectly adequate and reasonable value. The hotel was well located, a 5 minute walk from the station and 5 minutes from the centre of town in a pleasant quiet road.

Breakfast could have been improved by offering a better range of bread and rolls rather than the fairly bland and dry white rolls. Also, being in the 'food capital of Italy' we would have liked higher quality meats and cheeses rather than the processed packet ham and cheese slices. We would gladly have paid a little more for local produce. However, overall we were satisfied and have no other complaints about any aspect of the hotel.

Great location near the centre of town, staff make this hotel they are fabulous, from the cleaning staff to the reception all.

The hotel is a bit dated it could do with a refurbishment.

I missed the fact that there was no bar. it would have been nice to sit down with a leisurely drink when we returned in the evening

Very good location near the train station and with good bus connections; Room was large and well decorated, with a lot of comodities e.g. air conditioning, hair drier, larde beds; diversified breakfast at an affordable price; friendly staff who happily stored our luggage after the check-out while we visited the city.

Our only complaint regards the air-conditioning which we think was malfunctioning and the room was too warm in the night, even though we set the air conditioning to only 18ºC. Note that this might also have been caused by us not knowing how to use the system properly.
