What a find! Such a beautifully renovated property in a fantastic location. The owners were so welcoming and helpful. The property is exquisitely appointed with exceptional quality furnishings. The property has an arrangement with the cafe next door for a beautiful filling breakfast - either sweet or savoury - which overlooks the carhedral. Even the parking was taken care of with spaces directly opposite the property. Cannot recommend highly enough.

There was nothing to dislike. The property is very high, situated next door to the cathedral high up in the town with many steps between the main part of town leading up to the property, so be prepared for a steep walk to restaurants and bars each evening.

It is a fabulous and beautiful house. Emanuele is so nice and helpful! He has renovated the house he was born in. Plenty of history there! And loads of character. From The terrace the view is spectacular !! Breakfast at the cafe next door in the shadow of st Giorgio was great! Run by Chocolate makers and nice people! Thanks to them For a delicious americano! Would recommend 100% . Easy and free parking in the street. We went to Rappa (6 min up the stairs) for a bite and a glass of wine, it was fab!! City not friendly for people with mobility issues! But doable . Just need to go by car and miss a bit of what makes the city beautiful … flights of stairs made of stone. We were delighted!! The house had a well equipped kitchen. The location was wonderful and it was one of the very rare cases where the actual room was nicer than the pictures that are online. The host was wonderful. He was always available if we had any questions. It is a bit difficult parking in Modica and he met us outside on the street and, directed us to his private parking garage, which was just a few feet from our room. I would definitely recommend Casa Sipione Papa, and we plan on staying here again in the future.

There is nothing I didn’t like. Everything was perfect except for the weather.

The room was large, very good ensuite, and access to a terrace with wonderful views over Modica old town. There is so much to see, but be aware of the many stairs needed to get around (a good workout after the wonderful food and spritz). The location was superb, very near to San Giorgio Duomo - do the walk up the bell tower - it is worth the vista. There is a great bar located near the duomo, The Sabadi Bar. The entrance is near the street level of the stairs to San Giorgio, worth a visit at night. They do food, which looked good, but we didn't have any, so I can't comment. The Casa Sipone host was extremely helpful, giving suggestions of where to eat and sights to see. There is a resident tortoise on the terrace - Giorgio!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Only negative, we had to ask that the bins in the kitchen, which was also used by the other room guest, get cleaned out as they were full and smelly.

A bit of walk to the central.

Manuele was very kind from the beginning. Ancient decoration and very art ceilings give the impression that you are in the museum. Comfortable antic bed and pillows. It has a nice terrace with a beautiful view of the whole town and a good location about 10- 15 min from the main street. The breakfast is very delicious and typical Sicilian provided in the Bar de Duomo has a very kind owner Fabio. Recommended if you want to have a nice and tranquil stay :)

This is a unique place in a wonderful town. We stayed here for 4 nights and used Modica as a base for exploring the towns nearby and enjoying Sempieri beach. As it turned out, it was really Modica that we enjoyed the most. There is so much to discover here. We enjoyed our welcoming hostess and the breakfast spot (Bar del Duomo) nearby. Excellent cappuccino, best cannoli and chocolate granita of our trip. And the views!!

This would be a challenge without a car. With a car it was in an ideal location to get in and out of town with parking on the street right outside the door.

Our stay at Casa Sipione Papa was exceptional. Centrally located, it is a perfect base to explore the old town. This place combines picturesque views from the terrace, elegant decor, and outstanding service (the hosts were incredibly accommodating, waiting for us with the keys at 1 am because of our delayed flight)- we were very happy with the place

Excellent place, excellent host, excellent suite, fantastic views over hidden treasure- town of Modica! Excellent location -next to the San Giorgio Duomo, a stunning cathedral, you must see, also very near to the chocolate shop Sabadi in Corso San Giorgio 103. Excellent breakfast in the nice bar near. Free street parking is available to guests. Emanuele is a very helpful and very kind

The room was spotless and absolutely amazing. The balcony was very large. It even had a lemon tree in it and the view from it eas spectacular. The owner and his wife were lovely. Really friendly and helpful. Parking was easy outside on the road. The breakfast at the nearby cafe was perfect. The price eas super good value. I cannot fault this accommodation in any way. It was perfect.
