We cannot say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful Palazzo. We were welcomed in person by our host, shown around the home we shared for five days (which had been built over 200 years before by a great great great grandfather), and treated like family throughout our stay. Our room was magnificent with a fresco’ed ceiling, large (soundproof) French doors leading to our balcony, and a large, well equipped bath. Breakfast was an enhanced traditional Sicilian meal, fresh and tasty every morning.

We did not find anything that did not meet our needs.

Friendly host Gianpiero whose family has owned this beautiful home for 4 generations...he let me have early check in and greeted me with good knowledge of tourist sites and a map. Beautiful room in old Palazzo environment which I enjoyed...No modern IKEA or plastic. Location very central 10 minutes from bus station. Single bed booked and paid for but room was big and bed was more like a double which I really enjoyed. Excellent value for money.

I loved everything about this property, from the staff, to the location, to the decor that made us feel like we were living in the history books! Modica is a VERY hilly town, and we had a group of 9 whose ages ranges from 8 to 78 years old. Since the hotel is on the main road, we did not need to climb any hills unless we wanted to! It was located close to everything we needed. We will 100% be back to this beautiful town and amazing hotel!

Everything! The view from this location is mind-blowing. Gianpiero was SO helpful and accommodating, and we cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. The family have owned and lived in this beautiful Palazzi for many generations and the property history is beautiful. The Palazzi is amazing and close to everything you could wish for. Modica is an extraordinary place, and you must go. Just Book!

Nothing not to LOVE 💕 We absolutely LOVED it!

Stunning B&B full of charm and character. The building is gorgeous, with a beautiful salon to relax and have breakfast in. The room was spacious and comfortable. It's family-owned, and Gianpiero and his girlfriend were wonderful and very friendly. They were able to accommodate me when I had to spend an extra night. Would absolutely recommend for everyone!

I didn't mind but the only comment is that the WiFi didn't work very well inside my room so I just stepped outside (literally out the door) or sat in the courtyard if I needed it.

We love the beautiful Baroness room with a nice view of the Duomo. The host Gianpiero was most kind and thoughtful. We had trouble getting to Modica from Ragusa by train because or a hailstorm. He allowed us to change the reservation and helped us get a cab the next day. He gave us a warm welcome and took really good care of us. We would certainly stay here again if we come back to Modica

The experience of staying in the family home of former Nobles was a great experience. This place is charming, historical and VERY spacious. LOVED the family feel and beautiful antique furniture as well as those incredible painted ceilings.

It’s not that I didn’t like this yet if you are looking for new and modern, this isn’t but it has definitely been updated.

Our host was great at communicating before our arrival and was friendly, efficient and helpful once we arrived. He supplied a very nice breakfast each morning, with lots of variety. The room was spacious and comfortable. The Palazzo was beautiful and full of family history. Modica is central to all the Val di Noto sites, an easy location to visit the coast, and much easier to access and park in than some other towns. Also plenty of good places to eat. We found it to be the perfect base for the area.

The hotel sitting at the main street Corso Umberto I, so we can park at the opposite for free. The hotel is the old Palazzo with family-run. The decoration is so beautiful and charming with the old historic details. I stay in the Barones Room with the view on Modica’s most famous church. it was spacious and comfortable room.

Very good location close to all attractions and Restaurants. We were also offered discounts to restaurants. Gianpiero was very polite and was always there ready to assist in all that was needed where he also went the extra mile to accommodate us. Hospitality at its best. Rooms was very spacious and equipped with all necessities. Highly recommended in Modica. Next time to visit we will definitely book there again. A big thanks to the hosts.
