We arrived late at the hotel but the receptionist (i.e. the daughter of the family-run hotel) assured us that this was OK and when we arrived she welcomed us with open arms and a wonderful smile. She even helped us with the parking which is on the street parallel to the hotel. In addition to this, she even went above and beyond and offered us tea or something else to drink before heading up to our room. We were there not even 5 minutes and the service was top notch! The hotel itself oozes old Italian style (it used to be an Italian villa) and you immediately feel comfortable there. The room was immaculately clean and extremely comfortable (I had an amazing night's sleep there) and, again, it was full of old Italian charm. We woke up and headed for breakfast and were greeted by the hotel owner (the father of the family-run hotel) and what a lovely, warm and funny character he was! We not only had a lovely breakfast but had free entertainment from him too! He could not have been more helpful and generous if he tried. He also made the best cappuccino I've tasted in a long time using an old coffee machine. It was also all intensely relaxed, easy and laid back and at no point did we feel under pressure to finish our food or check out on time. The price was very reasonable for such quality too! Quite simply one of the best hotels I've stayed in, to be honest. If I could give it more stars, then I would. Thank you for a wonderful (but short :( ) stay :)! Very highly recommended!

Very friendly staff, helpful and Nice people ! Hotel is very beautiful from outside. Also the reception and breakfast place looks very new and nice. Breakfast was very Good ! Near the hotel is beautiful park where you can have a drink.

The furniture is very old… it could look nice but indeed this really made me Feel uncomfortable. For families with children can be fine. The curtains would really need some washing, too. But these are really easily fixable things which would make the hotel even better!

All was nice and very comfortable, especially the family staff who were really doing everything to feel good.

It's not so much I didn't like, but this time of the year it can be cold and there was no heating on. But a minor point overall 😊

The staff is great, the receptionist made a parking space especially for us. Delicious, varied breakfast. The older gentleman who is the host is also very nice and speaks English well and makes drinks. I recommend it!

Very good for the amount I paid for one night. Very nice staff, specially the older man who served the breakfast the next morning.

The lobby was very nice. And the breakfast was good with plenty of choices to eat.

Staff was very pleasant, especially the old gentleman in the breakfast room. It was quiet at night. The room was warm. I paid a small amount of money, so couldn't complain much.

Door to the bathroom was 1,8 m in height, I had to bow everytime I used it. Very noisy group of Serbian or Croatian teenagers slammed the doors and shouted in the hallway until 23:00 (wouldn't be a problem with proper soundproofing).

Excellent family owned hotel, with extremely kind staff. Special thanks to Franco who took care of us during the breakfast.

I liked the welcoming of the staff, especially the boss, that also make a good coffee Location was nice and quiet Fridge in the room Bicycle safe inside Breakfast was more than packed cornetto and biscotti, there was fruit, yoghurt, eggs, cheese and also meat. Some jam and different juices Nice change after all these so called B&B places

Simple and clean room with mini fridge and air conditioning. Great value. Very nice family who runs the hotel. We were very impressed by the older gentleman who was running around to serve us at breakfast. Great breakfast.
