Of course, you don't expect to stay at the Hilton, but the location and the ability to check in late were important to us. The reservation included breakfast with a wide variety, the nicest woman who made us coffee, the receptionist who opened the elevator doors to bring in the luggage. After check out we were given the opportunity to leave our luggage and allow more time for Naples. The room is clean, the bathroom too.

Poor Internet connection

The location is very convenient (centre of the city, very close to trains, metro and buses to the airport), there is a number of good restaurants nearby (e.g. Mimì alla ferrovia, Trattoria da Giovanni), the staff is amazing (always friendly and helpful, they even booked a table at a restaurant for us), the room was large and comfortable (perfect for our long stay) and we could see Vesuvio from our window.

We couldn't always get the lift to work. Piazza Garibaldi doesn't feel like the safest area (doesn't look like a particularly wealthy neighbourhood, lots of street vendors selling things on pavements, people hanging about in the square for no obvious reason). Having said that, we spotted local families with kids walking round the area in the evening, so it can't be too bad. I only walked there alone in the evening once and some random men tried starting a conversation (I ignored them and continued walking), so it might not be the most pleasant place for a female tourist travelling alone, but otherwise, it seemed fine, not unlike near a train station in any other large city.

Fantastic location. Easy short walk to central station, from where you can go to other tourist destination. The restaurants the staffs recommended are fantastic!

Please be aware that this hotel has changed its name to be Hotel Sayonara!! When you arrive at the front of the building, make sure you are looking for Hotel Sayonara. And if you can choose, choose a room with view to the square with a balcony will be the best choice.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The location is perfect - just 2 min walk from the station/bus from airport and about 10 min to the start of the old town. (Be aware though that, like many station areas, you do need to be a bit careful after dark.) It is located in an old building but it has all been recently renovated (or looks like it has) and everything is modern and clean. Good security after hours as you need a key for the main building and floor as well as room. The people running it are super friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and very clean. Plenty of hot water. The breakfast was a big, fancy and delicious spread.

It would have been great to have a safe/security box in the room.

Young guy from reception was really kind and nice. Location was great, and also accomodation was fine. Breakfast was very good. I recommend this place!

It wasnt cleaned 100% but its okay!

The property is very well located, as it is close to the central station, a subway station, and an area where a lot of shops and restaurants are. The staff was really nice, we had to leave very early in the morning to catch our flight and they let us take breakfast to go. The room was clean and everything worked perfectly for the price.

The only thing that could have made our stay better was to have a mini fridge in the room. Other than that, our stay was wonderful.

room was Large and bed very comfortable. the location was good to get the train to Pompeii and Herculaneum.

Toilet needed fixing and sink plug wouldn’t pop up. Details that need addressing.

Good location of the hotel. Nice personel.

Clean room with a view over the square, you can see Vesuvius volcano from the balcony. Breakfast is very good. Very near the train station and metro, in a lively area. Plenty of trattorias around. For an early breakfast, they offer a continental option in a near cafeteria.

Price during the weekend is very high. Reception is closed from 20:00 to 8:00.

Location was top. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Very affordable.
