An Ibis is an Ibis; it was clean, comfortable and pretty much what we expected. The location is great and we had a balcony, which I loved. There’s also a cute courtyard and the breakfast is worth the €10 if you don’t have time to go elsewhere. It’s also in a fairly quiet area which meant we had a very good night’s sleep (our first on the trip!).

The only downside was the room smelled a little weird but that may have been from outside as we noticed it was worse at night with the balcony door open. We also got a room for two people with two single beds but the other bed was very much a children’s cot; my friend couldn’t fit on it so we ended up pulling the bigger bed apart and sleeping that way.

Very friendly staff, room very clean and quiet, nicely decorated, possibility to leave luggage in secured area, close to the station... We enjoyed having breakfast there.

On day of (late) arrival, the person at reception did not know that I had paid for my daughter and informed I would need to pay (again) for her then! This was promptly cleared as I had my booking.com reservation with me, but I was just surprised by this unusual situation.

Good location near the railway station/metro station. Very good breakfast and friendly staff.

This is no complaint about the hotel. I arrived quite late and looked for a restaurant. The only one that was open in Piazza Garibaldi was called Attanasio …lit up in bright blue lights…. Its my own fault but I ordered fresh fish (Dorada) without checking the per kilo price properly. It was ok but when the bill came the fish cost €52.00. I travel the world and have never paid so much no matter what country. So my advice is to always check the price beforehand especially when ordering something that is priced per kg.

All good! The hotel is situated close to raillinks with Pompeii and Herculaneum, and both metro lines start from the central station. The rooms are clean, with lots of light in the rooms. Modern bathroom facilities. Triple glazing.

Triple glazing is essential, to lock out the noise from trains over the tracks. That's a drawback from being very close to the main railway lines. Also, I wasn't very impressed with the airco facilities. Not a problem in early spring, and maybe they work fine in summer. I definitely hope so.

Room was fresh and had good sound proofing. Some minor sounds if someone was loud in the corridor, but didn't hear anything from other rooms. Don't worry about the local train station behind the hotel, the trains stop running at about 10.30pm. Breakfast had more than enough diversity for us, we were very satisfied. Near to the city center and good connections to local traffic and trips.

Great location, clean, small rooms. 2 minute walk and you’re facing Napoli Centrale station with restaurants and cafes. €12 breakfast is offered. Great front desk and breakfast staff.

In-room safe required a room card or other card to swipe for opening and closing. The safe didn’t open or close properly so I was unable to use it.

it’s close to the train station and the metro station so it was convenient for me to use the transportation and as well to be able to take the Alibus(the bus to and from airport) from the train station.

-noisy during the night -the neighborhood isn’t too safe( if you are a solo traveler I will advise you to be back at the hotel before dawn(be aware of the balconies because people throw things and you can get hurt)-that isn’t the fault of the hotel, but I had to mention it -poor breakfast, not too many options -beds aren’t as comfortable as I honestly expected, neither the pillows -I had to call the reception to get an iron as it wasn’t in the room, no water in the room, no fridge. -overall I felt was overpriced for what you get, you pay more for the brand itself.

My cell phone had been stolen and I had problems with my bank card getting cash from ATM. The front desk staff volunteered and were able to contact my bank in Canada and I was able to resolve the problem. That service saved our vacation. Theu also went out onto the street and showed us which direction and which street to take to get to where we were going.

Great location just one min from Garibaldi train bus and metro station. Urban style, clean, friendly. Good value for money.

The mattress was apparently comfy but the frame was unbelievably noisy and really made our nights a nightmare. The air conditioning was noisy too so we switched it off and opened windows. Then mosquitoes came (4th floor) and the trains woke us up at 6 when they start to go again. Two of us are vegan and apart from fruit there was no specific option for them. Soy milk was there though. But for 9 euros each I would expect at least some industrial veg snack, if not proper prefrozen croissants which are to be found everywhere nowadays.

Very clean Excellent amenities, great breakfast. Had a coffee machine with nice coffee. Very good AC. Beds were comfortable, if a little hard but I like that. Beds also had light feather duvets which i love because it's light enough for when it's warm but good to snuggle into. Staff were excellent, very accommodating and hospitable and always had a smile on their face. They let me work in the lobby after checking out because i had a late flight and that was very appreciated.

Not all rooms have balconies so you should request one if you want one
