My stay here was perfect. I stayed in a room with two beds and a private bathroom. I had two balconies, from one you could see Vesuvius, which is beautiful, and from the other, Vesuvius and part of the city. Accommodation extremely tidy, bed comfortable. Wifi is great. You have self check in, which I also liked, the owner helped me with that. The owner is very accommodating and extremely considerate. I would especially like to praise the housekeeper who made sure that I had clean towels, a clean floor and bathroom, and that I had enough coffee, sugar and tea during all seven days of my stay here. And location is great, you have like 10 minutes to the center of the city. I would recommend this accommodation to everyone because it really is value for money.

The location is very good, with the metro very close. The accommodation was pretty clean. Fridge and microwave available. Marco is kind and always accessible.

Unfortunately, disappointed that in the kitchen/dining area, the sink, cooking plate and what it comes with, was missing (I guess it will be built later), so a bit expensive for that. Only 1 day cleaning on our overall 5 nights.

Communication with Marc was excellent and regular. Prior to checking in, Marco informed us that there was a problem with the hot water, but he was working on a solution. Upon arrival, although he was still addressing the situation, he had resolved the problem. Due to the problems and missing curtains he offered us a room of a higher standard. The next day there was a problem with the hot water in this room as well, but he addressed and solved the problem immediately. It may seem like a lot of problems, but Marco communicated everything openly and resolved the situation. The room was great and overall we were completely satisfied with the accommodation.

If someone is used to not travelling by public transport, it may be slightly far for them. However, the accommodation was right on the metro, so there was no problem getting to and from the city.

The property is on the excelent location. The apartment is clean and cozy. One of the most comfortable beds 👌🏻 Also the big plus for my wife is that there was coffee in the jar. Great communication with the property owner. Everything is like it is said on the Booking page. If I ever come back to this city, I’ll book it again for sure!

Nothing negative about the property. Maybe just as a note to the future users of this apartment that are from foreign countris (because of the roaming prices): internet is needed so that you can unlock the building and the apartment section doors through the app and the link which the property owner will provide to you.

three bedrooms in the apartment we inhabited two and the people inhabiting the third room were great. I’m not sure how it would work if you were do accommodated with people who were noisy

The location of the hotel is excellent right next to a metro station. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is also large. TV and wifi work very well. Check-in was fast and easy. The owner replies fast if there is any issue and is very helpful.

Some minor issues with towel replacements and room cleaning, but the issue was resolved after communicating with the owner. If you choose this property, just notify the owner if you need additional towels during the weekend since they will not be changed until monday. Other than that all was perfect.

The best part about Materday 24 is the location. It is only a 2 minute walk to the Metro. There are places to eat and shop for groceries nearby. As others have mentioned, Café Doris is great for your morning cappuccino. The building has an elevator (don’t forget to close both sets of doors or else the other tenants in the building won’t be able to use the elevator). However, if you have mobility impairment, please know that there are 9 steps to go up to get into the building (there is a handrail). Materday 24 is in a residential neighbourhood, so it is relatively quiet - other than the swarms of Vespas that are everywhere in Naples. The rooms have electric shutters, so it is easy enough to block out noise by just putting the shutters down at night. The common areas are cleaned daily. Our rooms were spacious. There is a lovely little pizza place nearby (can’t remember the name of it). To get to it, instead of making a right turn to get to the Metro entrance, the pizza place is on the other side of the intersection to the left. Good pizza for 6 euros! If you are a first time visitor to Naples, familiarize yourself with the Metro system first. You can get to most places you want to go, and save a great deal by not having to take taxis. Vomero is 2 Metro stops away. To get to the Capri ferry, just go to the Toledo stop and you are a 10 minute walk from the ferry.

For me, the thing about Materday 24 that I did not like (but expected), is that there is no reception desk. Although the listing says: “Front Desk Services - Invoice provided, Lockers, Private check-in/out, Baggage storage, Tour desk and 24-hour front desk,” there was no reception desk. Other than the cleaning lady who was there in the morning, who did not speak English, one could not get help with simple things. Not a big problem, but I really missed a reception desk. The proprietor would quickly respond to questions via WhatsApp, and he kindly arranged for our transport to the airport at the end of our stay.

The location is just the best! Everything is next to you, piazza Bellini, Dante - 15 min on foot. Marco is very helpful, nice and is always available. The room is also quite nice, but the best thing is the ability to work on a terrace + there is a kitchen, washing machine and a big table in the area. I will definitely go back one more time!

Marco's apartment is very clean. I liked the room, it was very spacious. The cleaning lady made our bed daily apart from the weekend and made sure that the room and bathroom were clean. Location is superb, a short walk to the metro, Linea 1, a few stops away from the centre. We found a lovely cafeteria, Cafeteria Madonna on the way to the metro, and had our breakfast there every morning. Best cappuccino in town, we had a 2 weeks Italian trip, and most of the time, cappuccinos or Caffè lattes were served cold, so I did appreciate a good one. Nice pizza places nearby, Starita and Olive on via Sanita, for example. Be aware that most places are charging for the table for tourists, 1.5 or 2 Eur per head, treat as service charge. Prices usually go up suddenly if you are a tourist, so check the bill always, especially in town. There are 2 supermarkets on the street behind the apartment, and there is a fridge available. I think for the money we paid for 6 nights it was very reasonable.

The bed and the pillows were not too comfortable. Would worth to invest to proper hard pillows. We had noisy neighbours upstairs for 2 nights, and I could not sleep properly. Make sure that you shut the inside doors of the lift. Otherwise, others in the house can not use it. Someone left a note on the door to remind us for this calling us fucking tourists. Even though I knew it was not us who left the door open, there were 2 other rooms in the apartment. It was quite a shock arriving back at night for this. Felt like locals, and Napoli does not welcome tourists, just want to loot them, and they want to make sure that they will never come back. Would I go back to Napoli and to this apartment? Probably not. Would stay in Sorrento instead and make a trip to Napoli for a day or max 2.

good location and transportation (really glad that stayed not in centre since this is more clean and quite area) - helpful owner - clean in the apartment and bathroom - good design - owner’s recommendations - so beautiful terrace - comfortable bed we had really good experience staying in Materdays 24. definitely place to come back and stay in Naples, recommend!
