the hotel is amazing and view wonderful. if you dont like walking up and down stairs and gradients this hotel is not for you. There is a venicular 5 minutes walk either side of hotel but very hidden. If you want to buy snacks for your room do it when you are in the centre of town, there is nothing near the hotel.

The 7th floor was pretty much out of bounds due to constant weddings. No problem with that if you are actually told. I wandrered off upstairs and straight into a wedding reception and promptly escorted back to the lift! Reception staff offer no extra information, if you want to know anything ask or google it.

The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. Amazing views from room and terrace. The reception staff were very helpful; finding us an adapter for charging our phones. In fact, staff were lovely apart from one indifferent waiter.

The location was poor as the hotel is in a rundown area and not that easy to get to. We arrived hoping for lunch but it was very expensive and so we decided to find somewhere to eat but had to walk a long way in a neglected area and didn’t find anything. The pool looked lovely but was closed on the day we arrived and we didn’t get a chance to use the next day (there’s also a extra charge for using it).

The hotel is located above the city and it overlooks it towards the sea. There is a garden/ rooftop that has a magnificent view, a really nice garden, swimming pool and bar. it is however only open from 15 May onwards.

If you want to go into the city by foot, you have to take a lot of stairs and it’s not always easy to find the way back through the maze of alleys. I recommend to take a taxi after it is dark.

Perfect view over the Naples Bay and Mount Vesuvius! Fantastic roof garden terrace !!! Room was spotless clean !

Breakfast good could be more choice. Room media (e.g. new smart TV or speaker ) Bathroom need updating

Wonderful, quirky hotel. At the top of a hill, so the views over Napoli, the sea & Vesuvius were AMAZING. FAB chill out pool on the top floor, lovely bar/restaurant terrace on the 4th floor. Not sure the history of the building but there are tunnels & alleyways all over the place - easy to get lost!

We loved the fact that it was on high up over Napoli, but for those who dont like an uphill walk back home after a busy day/night, would probably need a taxi.

Breakfast was really good and the room and the hotel was excellent.Bed was incredibly comfy and I had a great nights sleep. Traditionally Italian and very historic.

The bath was so slow to fill that I tried the shower and almost flooded the bathroom.

The view was sensational, the pool refreshing, and the beds were very comfortable. Also a short walk or funicular up to the castle which is well worth seeing. Close to lots of public transport. Also an amazing converted monastery full of history and character.

Although the view from the terrace restaurant was not to be missed, the menu was somewhat limited. The breakfast buffet hot food wasn’t hot although it was a nice spread. It also would have been nice to have some options for food by the poolside.

Staff were constantly busy and stressed and abrupt we were given the wrong room told we had given them the wrong name despite handing over passports after moving into room asked to come to reception with luggage and move pool was only open until five everyone was moved off roof as an even was taking place e told we could go to bar only to find another event taking place there so could t go there No where else around to go for bar or restaurant

Attractively modernised and furnished former monastery on hillside overlooking the city and Bay of Naples. Long terrace in front of bright airy dining room with spectacular views. Excellent buffet breakfast; delicious reasonably priced dinner. Comfortable bedroom with spotless on-suite bathroom. 20 minute walk to waterfront, piazza, opera house and cafes and much else (but steep climb back). Short walk to nearest metro and funicular. Staff exceptionally charming and helpful.

Corridors quite dimly lit, which is atmospheric, but several steps easily missed.

All throughout the hotel and the room you are provided with a panoramic view of Napoli. The food is excellent, and the staff is helpful. The furnishings and are in the hotel are beautiful. The tree-lined swimming pool built into the rock of the mountain is lovely. We would definitely stay again.

It seems like the spaces are often booked for private parties and weddings and may not always be available to guests when an even is going on.
