Secure convent in a ghetto-type area. Parking is excellent across from the police station (but you need to walk around to the parallel street to the entrance). The nuns are fabulous and helpful. A limited breakfast is provided: fruits, breads, boiled eggs, yogurt. 15-min walk to the metro/trains (only 2 stops to Garibaldi or 4 stops to Montesanto).

No air conditioning, but the walls are thick, so perhaps it doesn't heat up too much inside. Fortunately, we traveled in October. Street noise, but if you close the window fully, you sleep well

The convent is in a back street two metro stops from the city centre train station. St. Giovanni Barra is the metro stop. It's in a great location to get to Pompeii, Ergolando and other sightseeing destinations. It's a simple, no frills, cheap place to stay. It's very clean and the nuns (when you see them) are friendly and speak Spanish and Italian. The breakfast offered is very basic but as you are spoilt for places to eat in the city and around other tourist areas you won't go hungry.

The showers lack power and the water gets cold quickly but this is an observation not a criticism of the convent. This is not an affluent area and it reminded me how lucky I am to have hot water, on demand, at home! Another general issue is mosquitoes - it's hot and humid this time of year with occasional heavy rain and the odd thunderstorm so perfect for them and not so perfect for us! Most of all, as two female friends travelling together we felt safe staying here.

It was an excellent and very unique experience - it's an actual convent! The nuns were very sweet, kind, accommodating and helpful. My son had a stomach issue while we were there and one of the nuns was kind enough to make him chamomile tea! The breakfast was abundant, and there was a great variety of food to choose from.

There was nothing I didn't like - everything was as I expected. The only thing I would mention to fellow travelers is that this area is outside the city boundaries of Naples and therefore taxis might charge a higher rate.

Property run by a group of wonderful nuns. Very friendly. Even though they didn't speak English they did try to communicate, were kind and patient. Property is comfortable and very clean. Room was cleaned daily with a change of towels. A great breakfast included in the price along with fresh coffee, fruits, fresh breads, cheeses, cold meats, cereal, milk, boiled eggs, and various spreads. Beautiful quiet environment. Although this is a monastery, you don't need to be Catholic or Christian to stay here. They hold a Catholic Mass and you are welcome to but not expected to attend. Transport is OK within the area. Bus to Naples within a 10min walk. Circumvesvusiana (local train) stop within 15min walk. Large local supermarket within 10min walk.

Location is a little far (6km?) from Central Naples You're not given a front door key and need to buzz their doorbell for somebody to let you in. There may be restrictions on when you must return to the monastery (*possible curfew) Shower head has poor water flow (possibly needs cleaning of lime buildup or changing)

Unusual place away from the center of Napoli. Don't expect a standard hotel because it isn't one. Room was quite spacious, decent breakfast. About 15 minutes by foot away from the nearest train station (metro M2) which has frequent connections into Napoli.

No AC in the room, although a fan was provided. It was quite hot when I stayed so that would've been nice. You don't get a key to the main door, you have to ring to get in. Makes it less flexible to go in and out when you want (there's also a curfew related to that) Breakfast didn't have much vegan options (really only bread rolls, jam and juice)

The hospitality was amazing, the sisters couldn't do enough for me and my friend. They were always on hand despite the language barrier, as they only spoke iltalian and Spanish, however google translate and my broken Italian did the job. They allowed me and my friend to use their kitchen facilities to cook and even stepped in to help us cook our food. The place was very clean and spotless, plenty of towels and toiletries on hand, they even changed our linen when we weere out. Many places dont replace towels and linen unless stay is over 3 days. However, these sisters went out their way. Furthermore, breakfast was included, a selection of yoghurt, bread, tea, chocolates and biscuits. They even offered us wine, although we declined as we don't drink however, it's the thought that counted. The price you pay too its a real steal, if you want cheat, clean, amazing hospitality ! Then check this place out. P.s there's free parking behind the property which is opposite a police station which made us feel more safe leaving our car in public.

Nothing.

This place is truly with an amazing atmosphere. You feel very welcome and the sisters make your stay very comfortable. We were taken care of like dear guests. Sisters are very helpful, they will show you around and recommend best places to visit. My mom missed the step and accidentally fell down on the street and the sisters took care of her, offered ice and an ointment to reduce the pain. Thank you so much for your hospitality and attention! Grazie mille!

-The sisters are very nice but they don’t speak english. -The location is in a quiet area, 40 mins to Napoli city center(20 by foot+20 by train). -They change your towels everyday. Overall I think is a very nice, different experience than you find in a normal accommodation and it was nice to try it for 2 nights.

-The cleaning can be improved a bit. -No wi-fi in room 6. -Beds are not so comfortable.

+ Staff: three pleasant nuns. You'd better use all your Duolingo Italian skills, coz they don't speak English (but one of them speak Spanish). + Breakfast: awesome variety, choose what you want. Unlimited tea access.

- Staff: I would like to explain to nuns that my wife didn't have COVID-19, she just had a very strong bronchitis, because I remember their faces of fear (or even disgust) when we were making check out. Sorry of her cough bothered you so much.
