Staff of this accomodation was extremely helpful and kind, the age limit guarantees a great opportunity to meet fellow travelers. I loved spending dinners on the balcony watching the buzz in Via Roma and also meeting people from all over the world. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The dorm room was clean, comfortable, with decent amount of storage for my belongings. The beds were cozy, plus, the bathrooms were adequately clean, which I really appreciated.

Sometimes some minor things were broken (like the door of one shower, tho there were 6 others) and also for the first dew days I had only half the closet since there were 7 closets for 8 beds, however the overall exprerience was delightful and would deffinitely recommend this hostel to other travelers.

I loved the shared space with couches etc. where you could meet other young people, I appreciate the age limit and the female-only room option. The bedroom was clean and well kept - I liked the bathroom a lot, it allowed enough privacy despite being shared. There were also all the extra things travellers would need which is great (shampoos, blow dryers…) The staff was very young and friendly too. I felt safe and welcomed there from the moment I stepped in. And the location of this hostel? Absolutely perfect!

My biggest problem was that the lockers are extremely small (and most of them are broken). I texted the staff the meassurements of my suitcase prior to my trip to make sure it will fit and they told me it would - it absolutely did not. Fortunately I had my own lock to lock my suitcase but if someone took my whole suitcase I would lose everything. That was very upsetting. There was also a problem with water pressure which as I am finding out is pretty common in this hostel.

The kitchen closing at 11,30 .. In my personal opinion it has no much sense .. You may just need to close the bar and that's it.. Above all, if someone needs to cook late in night, as often happens in these places, or wants to go out to smoke, considering inside is forbidden, or has a late pc job to do, well it's a pity, people has to eat, work or even smoke outside in front of the building in an area like the one the hostel is ubicated. Is not safe, if you know what I mean ... At least for people who need to smoke . create a dedicate area and leave open overnight .. and create private rooms for someone who needs more privacy.. That's all.. everything else is Perfectly fine !!

The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, and the common areas are cozy, making it easy to meet other travelers. I felt safe and at ease throughout my stay. Community Vibes: PALARM Hostel has a fantastic communal atmosphere. I had the opportunity to connect with fellow travelers from around the world, sharing stories and experiences over a delicious breakfast or evening drink. Helpful Recommendations: HACHAN and his wife, Catalina and Alejandro were always ready with local insights and recommendations, which helped me make the most of my time in Palermo. From hidden gems to the best local eateries, their advice was invaluable. Long-Stay Perks: The hostel offered various amenities and services that made my extended stay even more enjoyable. From laundry facilities to a well-equipped kitchen, everything was catered to long-term guests. In summary, my 29-night stay at PALARM Hostel was an absolute delight. I departed with a heavy heart, knowing I had to leave this charming place and its wonderful staff.

One thing is in the gray room was kind of light that shared between the outside and the room, I Suggested separate the room light

The workers are really friendly and nice. My room felt very clean and had some AC which was necessary for the heat outside. I had lots of space for storage and could use the lockers to store my laptop and other small valuables. The location is perfect, close the the train station and the historic part of town which was very convenient. I felt like it was a really good value for money and would definitely stay there again.

The showers are definitely a bit smelly, but i think it’s more because of the type of plumbing and they clean them every morning.

The location is perfect near many sights, bus station for mondello, central trainstation, lidl is 2 min away, they offer Tupperware boxes which is also very helpful haha, very clean for a hostel, bathrooms and toilets were cleaned twice a day, there's AC and a big van in the rooms, you can have breakfast freshly brought in the morning on the cute little terraces, there's also a bar with drinks and I was very lucky with the volunteers, especially Emma <3 they really made this experience enjoyable for me as a alone traveling girl! I had so much fun, thank you guys! Only young people! Definitely recommend

That there's nothing to dry my hands after doing the dishes and at the toilets, you literally have to bring your towel :D

I slept in a huge room with the ladies. Everyone was kind and respectful. It was a good experience. The temperature can variate (through window) and I recommend earplugs. LOVED that it is very central, easy to reach and the co-space. Had amazing conversations as it is easy to meet people.

Kitchen could be more clean although it had everything I needed to cook.

water supply often cut off wifi can be intermittent, but generally ok sometimes noise can be heard in the sleeping area

Very friendly staff. Comfortable stay in the heart of the center. Would recommend it.

I didn’t like much the fact that the kitchen is closed between 23.30 and 7.30 am, because I wake up early and could not make myself some coffee. Also, at times there was a strange smell coming from the toilet, which was not the best toilet nevertheless (it could be renovated)
