Very friendly host, simple and modest rooms, but clean. Okay to stay for a few nights, not a place to spend your honeymoon. Simple breakfast, but okay. The centre of the old town is just a few blocks away.

Very noisy environment, practically all night long. There is a market 7/7 just in front of the building. Entrance to the B&B through a shady alley within the block, very old elevator takes you alle the way up to the 6. Floor, , but it functions. The environment is fascinating in a way, you get the feeling your are in a scene in Morocco, or Egypt. But not for the ones that sleep lightly.

Wonderfully cordial and welcoming owner, Rosario, even took Care to take me to a pharmacy because I was doing poorly. Spectacular view from the balcony while we ate a delicious breakfast. Our time there was just too short but we got a teeny taste of Palermo and know we want to go back.

It was difficult for me to access the property by car because I have the sense of direction that could get me lost in a circular room. But Rosario helped us find a perfectly acceptable parking spot and once that was accomplished, we had no problems. He was incredibly kind even when I was feeling very crabby and not acting my best. Very colorful stay Both in terms of the amenities and decor as well as the vibrant environment and community surrounding the guesthouse. Very cool.

The views from the shared terrace and our sea view room were AMAZING! My 83-year old mother loved it and now wants to go back to Palermo for longer! Spacious & spotlessly clean room w/ piping hot water in the shower. The most delicious pistachio cream coronetti for breakfast. Perfect location right above the market just a few blocks from the train station. Rosario is very interesting and knowledgeable and a very kind host. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great place and location and spectacular view from the terrace. Breakfast was not only delicious, but the view vaw making it perfect. The room was clean , the bed - conformable, and the location ideal! Ros was a great host, told us a lot about Palermo, and answered all questions. We followed all his advice about places to eat or visit in the city of Palermo but also in Cefalu ! We highly recommend this place !

Rosario and Katarina are a bright, switched-on couple who share a wealth of information about the culture and history of both Palermo and Sicily. My wife and I found it a pleasure to get to know them. Their B & B is set in a chaotic multicultural neighborhood from which the sixth-floor rooms provide a secure refuge featuring a superb view

The neighborhood of the outdoor market gets very loud for much of the day and into the evening.

It's a good feeling when you enter a nicely decorated apartment from the chaos of the streets of Palermo. The host took some time to give us suggestions on what to visit, eat, etc... Breakfast is an "event" you shouldn't miss :)

The guitar in the reception area is a nice decoration, but it obviously invites "night owls" to play to the sounds from it in the middle of the night :)

Rosario was very welcoming and the room was great - comfortable and clean, and surprisingly quiet given how lively the market outside is.

Checking in was tricky as the instructions only apply once you’re inside the building, but the doors to inside are locked - we managed to get in when someone else unlocked it but could have been difficult otherwise especially if we didn’t have the ability to call.

Rosario and Caterina were absolutely great. Lot of information, help with parking... Super nice and clean rooms. Balcony and terrace were amazing. Views from there are stunning, specially rooftops and Ballaro market (if I could, I'd buy immediately this property from them). As we were commenting, we couldn't have more Palermo experience than this. Please look no further, book it immediately if it is available for your dates. Thanks!!!!

The place is in the middle of the chaotic market full of people. Really hard to drive there if you have the car. But it has it's charm to be able to get down from the room and get everything needed for fresh breakfast. Close to main attractions of the city. Very helpful owner of the establishment.

It would be nice to have a coffee maker available for morning coffee at the terrace with the interesting view of the city.

We had a really grate breakfast served by the friendly host Rosario. It was tasty food and spectacular views every morning. The room pretty plain, but we had everything what we needed.

It could be a little bit noisy sometimes because the market downstairs starts working very early. But I was prepared and took earplugs.
