This hotel surpassed my expectation. Location was great for the train station from which I travelled to local cities I wasn’t expecting to visit in the three days I was there. Staff brilliant breakfast a little quirky but that was the best surprise. The hotel decor looks like it is going through some renovation but retained the character of the place. It really is a blend of modern and vintage. I can’t fault the cleanliness of the place.

At first due to the location of the hotel entrance I was a bit concerned but all good and should not put anyone off. In room coffee machine would have been nice but understand not expected for a three star.

We stayed here as part of an organized tour. We arrived a day early for our tour and the staff accommodated us by keeping our room for both nights instead of making us change rooms (one night on our own booking and the second night under the tour booking). This hotel is very close to the train station Pisa Centrale (a 5 min walk), we had a very large double bed (as requested), very effective air conditioning, helpful staff, clean room, lots of wardrobe storage, and an excellent breakfast buffet. It's also in a great location to walk to the historic areas, shopping, restaurants, and the Tower of Pisa. We found a decent laundromat about a 15 minute walk away so we could do a bit of mid-trip laundry. Our guides tell us it is a family-run hotel that has been run for several generations. Updates to rooms are done a little each year but even with slightly dated furnishings it was very comfortable, welcoming and we slept well. They do ask for the room key to be left at reception when you leave the hotel to go sightsee/dine out/etc so it cannot be lost.

Shower drain was slow and we worried we would overflow the shower floor into the bathroom floor. Compensated for this by reducing the flow of water from the faucet a bit. Shower was still very good with decent water pressure even at a reduced flow.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely with lots to choose from. - The location is a 22 minute walk from Pisa Airport, with Pisa Centrale train station right next to the hotel! - From the hotel to the Leaning Tower of Pisa it’s a 24 minute walk - after lunch in Pisa we jumped on a train to spend the afternoon in Florence for dinner before heading back to hotel (train to Florence is only a 1hr journey, so no time at all!) - The hotel is clean and convenient. I went there with my 10 year old son and we had a lovely two day stay whilst visiting Pisa & Florence. *Highly Recommend*.

Nothing major, just a few points: There was no kettle or coffees/tea making facility in the room. - The Reception area has a strange smell which needs sorting. Decor is a little dated, but still pleasant enough for an economical and convenient stay. The walls are quite thin and I was woken up at midnight to loud (adult) noises from the room nextdoor. Luckily, my 10 Year old was fast asleep and it didn’t last for long!

This hotel is right across the street from the train station and perfect if you need to catch an early flight elsewhere in the morning. If you are instead looking to really experience Pisa, the nightlife etc then keep this in mind. I arrived on a Saturday night and there was literally nobody around other than some small groups of teenagers listening to music/eating which may be intimidating to some but I found them to be harmless. While there are some comments about the pictures not being true to the hotel I would disagree with that. The lobby and the hallways are pretty dated however the room I stayed in was modern with new furniture and a very comfortable bed.

The water in my shower never got hot. It got to be warm but that was about it. I didn't mention this to the staff because it was near midnight and I was leaving in the morning anyway. I would like a more secure lock as well. They had the kind where you walk the door but can't properly check it as when you pull the handle down it unlocks. Some other guests have mentioned this. I did sleep with a suitcase in a chair up against the door, being a solo female traveler. Also the wifi 100% did not work in my room on the 6th floor.

The location is great, very close to the Pisa Centrale train station. The staff were very nice, a free coffee on arrival was greatly appreciated, and the option to choose breakfast each day was very flexible. The breakfast itself was delicious with lots of choices to cater for surely every taste. The room was comfortable and clean, value for money was really excellent - highly recommend!

If I'm really picky, the old fashioned room key and handing it in at reception was a bit surprising but not a problem as such, I would prefer to keep hold of my room card but given the reception is 24/7 this wasn't an issue at all.

Terrific location - bang opposite the Pisa Centrale train station, 2 mins walk. A nice 20 mins walk through town to the leaning tower of Pisa or bus and taxi options. The quadruple room for my family of 4 was very spacious with a large balcony, comfortable beds and everything was clean. Plenty of pizzeria joints within walking distance. There is a McDonald's at the train station as well. The Pisa airport is a 10 mins Pisamover shuttle from the train station (the platform and tickets are at the end of the station after platform 13, costing 6.5 Euro each). Perfect for an overnight stay.

Hotel shows it age and needs upgrading throughout.

Very friendly and helpful check-in staff and manager. Room clean, well maintained. Lift works well. Location close to train station is very convenient. Would like to try their excellent looking breakfast next time.

I had issues with their WiFi and in travel being connected is especially important. I could not connect with their instructions. The receptionist was able to on my iphone, but with seemingly specialist methods. After going out and returning, it was the same thing each time, an annoyance. She claimed it only happened with iphones. Could do with better lighting in the passage leading to the hotel entrance. That may be a municipal issue, but it would help.

The staff were all exceptionally nice and helpful. Had no issue fulfilling a number of requests including late check in, providing an iron, and allowing me to leave my backpack there after check out while I explored the city. Cool quirky reception area with some interesting features like an old Macintosh in the corner. The room was small but fine for a solo traveller. Clean room with a comfy bed. Enough plugs to charge multiple devices. Halfway between the airport and the city centre - a quick walk to both. Quite close to a McDonalds too if that's your thing.

Room was a little small. The TV was a bit small, and the cables at the back weren't fully attached, I had to fiddle with them a bit to get the TV working. The area of town isn't particularly nice, and the hotel is in off an alley that feels a bit dangerous. Although it is a short walk from the airport, the walk seems a bit rough. I assume this can be avoided by taking taxi or bus.

The buffet breakfast was really delicious and good value for money. I like that the the hotel is only 2 mins walk away from train station which makes my travel very easy. The staff were very friendly whenever we approached them for information.

The room was tiny bit too small for 2 people as we both have 2 medium luggages which was hard to keep open at the same time but we managed. The shower room was really small therefore it makes my shower time a lot longer than usual as manoeuvring in the shower can be a bit difficult.

I'm so thankful I stayed here! Very professional front desk clerks. I was super stressed bc my luggage was lost by the airline. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I wanted to hug them! Check-in was effortless after a looonnng day of traveling. My room was affordable, clean, and comfortable. I like that I had my OWN bathroom. Many other hotels at this price point had shared bathrooms. I was able to take the PisaMover from the airport to the train station, then walk across the street to the hotel. Once settled, it was a really pleasant 20 min walk to the Tower at Pisa. I will stay here again.

A really tiny shower! But I didn't care. It was really cute!
