We had the most magical stay at Antico Mondo in Polignano a Mare. Two friends and I had a room with an amazing balcony. The breakfast each morning was DELICIOUS, the rooms and bathrooms were beautifully decked out, the location is absolutely unbeatable, but the biggest stand out was our host Emio who went above and beyond during our stay and is the main reason I’m gushing so much in this review. He recommended all the best restaurants, beaches and activities, organised transfers and tours, was super responsive to any and every question. I’ve never felt so special and looked after! If you are coming to Puglia you MUST go out of your way to stay here.

Everything was absolutely beautiful from the service to the room to the view. We stayed in one of the luxury suites and it was amazing. Big, spacious room with the most beautiful view of Polignano beach. We had a big comfy bed and a steam room in the bathroom. Loved the big fluffy robes and the decor. We arrived for our honeymoon and they put petals everywhere and candles, it was so lovely. Emio our host was absolutely amazing throughout our whole stay. He helped us with everything from booking excursions to finding restaurants. If you are thinking of staying here then just do it - you will love it!

We liked everything a 10 score is not enough, very professional, kind, and accommodating staff from the initial contact to our departure. The breakfast was outstanding don’t even thing about making reservations ask Gisueppe orEmio for recommendations. Dinner reservations were fantastic. Don’t miss Meravigiloso Ristorante tasting menus for dinner. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff are very attentive to every detail. The location is central to the Centro Historico.

We should have stayed longer.

The location of this hotel is amazing in the old parts of the town. It is just beside the famous beach monachile and close to several good restaurants. We had a double room with two terasses which were both very spacious and the room was clean and had a great AC. The highlight of the stay was Emio in the staff that helped us with everything from booking restaurants to showing us the best beaches, the places to visit, what to do in polignare during our stay and much more. We could write him anytime with a question and always got a great answer. From start to finnish, he made our stay fantastic!

My husband and I are on our honeymoon, we are about half way through our trip and this was by far the best stop on our trip! We booked the room with are own terrace and were suprised by the location! We had the best view of the polignano a mare and the beach! The facilities were modern and clean! We had our own Turkish steam in our shower! The rooms were cleaned every day! The staff communicated with us via WhatsApp and were so helpful! When we arrived they recommended a restaurant and even made the booking for us! The breakfast was divine and we loved all of the fresh local products on offer! The hotel is only footsteps away from the old town!

We booked the terrace rooms on the top floor, there is no lift. We didn’t have a problem walking up but if you have a pram or wheelchair it could be difficult to get into. If you do not have to worry about this, It’s totally worth it!

Antico Mondo Room & Suites Wow. What an amazing stay we had here at the Antico Mondo Room & Suites. From the very beginning of the booking process, Emio and his colleagues made the whole experience a breeze. The communication was second to know: always clear and very helpful. We didn’t arrive into Brindisi Airport until late at night and we’re still an hour drive to Polignano A Mare, but Emio was so helpful in getting us in contact with a predicate airport transfer. Once we arrived in Polignano we were met by our host and went through a smooth check in process - even at 10:30pm at night!! Not many places would do that. Our room was really quite beautiful. We had two private terraces which allowed us to enjoy an amazing view of the famous bridge and a bit of people watching from the privacy of our own space. It was an incredible feature that we didn’t expect, but really enjoyed. All in all we had a fabulous trip with Emio and the staff at Antico Mondo Room & Suites and would HIGHLY recommend them for you stay in Polignano a Mare. We will certainly be back to them when we visit Puglia again

The property is so well-located just a few steps from the old town main entrance. Despite no parking (which is fully understood) Emio assisted us to move our luggages, his service-minded is unbeatable, that we've never experienced in our many years trip to EU. Our room is cute with large terrace, delicious breakfast, all meet our expectations. Emio showed us his new Grand Suite in nearby location, the room is so excellent with modern decor & on top amazing seaview that we would like to change room immediately, unfortunately not possible. Apart from the pleasant property, Emio is the main magnet to our impression. His top-rated service-minded is natural & incredible, he gave recommendations city info, restaurants, booked boat tour, communicated on pick up location to ensure our smooth experience. His service is just "BEYOND", no doubt why his property wins an awards. Strongly recommend.

THE VIEW from our room was unbelievable. Sunset on another level. We barely wanted to leave our balcony the whole time. The suite itself was large and beautifully designed. Bed was comfy. Our host, Emio, communicated well and was very helpful. He arranged a boat excursion for us which was one of the loveliest parts of our time in Polignano A Mare. He even gave us recommendations for nearby areas we would be visiting later in our trip. The location was perfect to walk everywhere, and they have reserved parking nearby.

The glass door in the bathroom. Why is this a new thing hotels are doing? It gives no privacy. While beautifully designed the bathroom wasn’t ideal functionally. The sink was set up so if you turn the water on all the way it would splash, and some more hooks or towel racks would help. Nothing that would discourage us from visiting again, just small things we’d change if we could.

The appartment has been the most stunning I have recently booked. The staff was extraordinarily nice, arranged for a boat trip (with a special skipper), booked restaurants, gave recommendation for coffee, parking,.. they were always to be reached by whats app and answered immediately and always nice. The apparment was better than expected. It was our last day of our vacation and this appartment made the vacation even better. the appartment was clean, air condition in every bed room and a huge terrase overlooking polignano and with a nice view of the sea. Whilst the appartment is in the middle of the historic center full with tourists, it was hidden in a small quite alley and the rooms and also the terasse was completely quite. Thanks again for this wonderful stay! we will certainly come back.

Everything was exellent!! Emio is a fantastic host and extremely helpful with great tip of restaurants and also helped us with a booking! Always attentive to make sure we had a great time!! The room was superb with attention to small details! The location was great in the old town just by the bridge to the famous Lama Monachile. Breakfast was amazing with many options to pick from!
