the property was clean and very good value for money! good communication from staff on how to get there. breakfast was lovely and had lots of options. staff were friendly. great view from the breakfast area

didn’t like the walk from the bus stop! a lot of steps and very difficult with luggage. thought we would have a room with a nice view and balcony however didn’t have much of a view from the balcony we had. bit disappointed as it was our honeymoon

The staff were very helpful and always friendly. The property was clean, nice and we had a wonderful view. We had air-conditioning, which wasn’t always the case, as some places we stay did not have it. We had a huge veranda that allowed us to sit outside and enjoy a very nice view of the Med. The location was close enough to be able to walk to everything. I’ll be far enough away, not to be in the crush of tourist off the ferries.

If you are from the U.S. just understand that bathrooms can be very different from what we are used to and in some cases, a bit challenging. This usually arises from very small showers & bathrooms. Ours was no exception. My wife was a little put off that the sink was in the shower. It was clean and perfectly usable and just something you have to get used to when staying in almost any place that wasn’t a purpose built hotel. It’s part of the charm! The breakfast was a little bit more of a continental breakfast. It was nice, but we would’ve liked to have seen a little bit more in the way of proteins, i.e. eggs, bacon, sausage, and a wider variety of pastries. All in all it was still pretty good and the view was beautiful.

The location was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed the room. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. They gave us water when we arrived and went over a map with information about the area. They even let us check out a bit later than scheduled because of the timing of our transportation out of Positano. The breakfast buffet was great too! They had a lot of options and when you arrived they would offer to make you coffee. Wonderful service!

The balcony was a great size with an amazing view, but it was positioned across a walkway where other guest were staying so we didn't have much privacy. We heard multiple people talking about using our balcony as they walked past. We stayed in the Quadruple Room with Sea View, for reference.

A beautiful stay in a gorgeous room with terrace and partial sea view. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very relaxing. Clean and delightful. The breakfast is plentiful and there is a coffee machine in the room, and a kettle available if you need one. The mini market is very useful for water and drinks. The little orange bus drops you nearby (from Mulini Piazza). A quieter part of Positano, with local restaurants. The beach Fornillo is 400 steps. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you

There is nothing to dislike. Positano is very busy and there are a lots of steps to climb, but this is a peaceful cool sanctuary

The property is close to everything — including a bus stop that circles Positano. This is really important since Positano is truly a city of stairs. Some places can be over 150 stairs to get to them, but Casa Guadagno is only about 30. Our hosts were really lovely and super helpful. The room we had was clean, comfortable, and even had a little patio. The air conditioner worked really well. The views were amazing! The WiFi was good enough for video calls.

We really didn’t have any complaints.

The staff at this hotel were outstanding. Great communications - even prior to our arrival. They even helped us to arrange a private transfer from the airport in Naples to the hotel. Our view was amazing as well. We had a large balcony to sit and enjoy the view. We rented two rooms - one for us, and one for our adult children, and both rooms were great. We really enjoyed our stay here.

It was on the pricey side, but I think that the pricing was in line for Positano. I was pleased with the rooms, views and service for what we paid.

The location is great in the heart of positano. Customer service is exceptional all the staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is amazing with lots of varieties. The balcony with the view is very beautiful and relaxing. Room is very clean.

Just be aware of the stairs to arrive to the room it’s better to not bring heavy luggage but this is the Case for all positano rooms.

The room and all of the toiletries that came with it was really nice. WiFi speed was fast. Air conditioning worked great. Great view and backyard area as well.

Only downside was the walk from the closest bus stop with a 23kg/50lb bag. You have to follow the path after you get off the road which contains lots of stairs, but that's Positano in general.

We very much enjoyed our stay! First, the communication from the staff was impeccable. They reached out to us before our stay, informed us of all the options to arrive at the location, and booked our hotel transfer from Naples. They communicated throughout our stay about things like laundry service, restaurants and even the clocks turning back an hour. Second, the room was great value for money, good sized with a quite large bathroom and stocked minibar. It’s in a good location close to restaurants and a short walk from the main beach.

Nothing at all

The place exceeded our expectations. Positano is just magical, our room was at a great location and the breakfast buffet was super nice. We had a lovely cat visiting us at our balcony. It was very private and quiet.

Before arrival the communication with the host was a bit rough, they felt a little rude and unhelpful. They redeemed everything as soon as we arrived.
