The breakfast was good and the woman who works there to bring it to your room was wonderful and we ate on the balcony with a view of Ragusa Ibla which was great. There were church bells outside in the later morning. You can walk down some steps to the lower city of Ragusa Ibla and that was great with attractions, restaurants, things to see and it is very historical. It is a locally owned property.

It is very difficult to find this property when drving by car. Google maps doesn't work great, and many of the streets do not have street signs. The streets are narrow, many are one way and we were lost. The owner had to help us get there and the instructions were difficult for us to follow so we had to guide with him on our phone. There should be maps in the room so we can find attractions. There are steps to get inside which wasn't a problem for us but could be a problem for some.

The view is the best part of the property! It is close to this exact view as seen in the review as well as another view just around the corner. You’re right in the middle of Ragusa and Ragusa Ibla so it’s a quick walk to either one. Breakfast on the terrace is everything your instagram dreams are made of. And tasty. If you want more there is also a cafe right at the bottom of the hill headed to Ibla. Parking and access are easy. The price is a great value for what you get.

There are a lot of stairs to get between here and Ibla. Not a problem for me but it might be a challenge for someone with a stroller or someone with limited mobility. You can get straight to this BNB by driving but you would then have to drive around to get to other parts if you need to go in a car. Just know if you visit Ragusa in general you’ll need to prepare for stairs.

The loction was good, Simone's mother makes great cappuccino in the morning. The building is nicely renovated and secure entry worked really well. The spartment is very clean.

We arrived late after 8.30pm by bus and we left slightly away from the train station. which was in darkness. We could not see any taxi numbers and there were no shops open or people to ask. We strongly suggest Simone provided this information in future as it is an isolated location. Lucky for us, we noticed a bakery open. The customer turned out to be the taxi driver!! He was very helpful with eating suggestions. All our previous hosts have provided some cafe/ restaurant suggestions previously. There was no town map. No information inside our apartment. Unfortunately, my room was street view, not the lovely view from one of the two rooms facing the Duomo. Towels were not good quality.

Simone was an amazing host. There was a slight confusion on our arrival about room allocations, however he handled this timely and professionally. The rooms were modern with glimpses of character. The view was absolutely stunning and so close to the old town, very accessible transport. Every morning Simone would make us breakfast in the shared kitchen, with a choice of sweet or savoury. It was such a personable touch and lovely time to catch up with him and ask for reccomendations. Simone was so helpful from start to finish, a hard-working and amazing host.

I couldnt name a thing for improvement. It was fit for purpose.

Best view apartment in Ragusa. I had stayed 3 nights and I can tell one of the best place to stayed on my many years travelling.Panoramic view took my breath away.Host made a beautiful breakfast every morning. Bed was very comfortable the place was very clean.In the barfridge had a beautiful vine what I really enjoyed.Highly recomended to stay here when you visiting Ragusa.

Everything was perfect.

The rooms had a view of the bell tower and down over the old town. Whilst small the balcony allowed us to enjoy this view whilst enjoying our breakfast each morning. The generous breakfast featured delicious local produce beautifully prepared by the host's mother each morning. It was a bonus to be able to obtain free parking in the street.

Whilst it wasn't a problem for us, for some people the number of steps to access the old town would be prohibitive.

The view!! Absolutely amazing from our balcony room. Perfect location in quiet area between Ragusa Ibla and Rugusa Superior so a quick walk in either direction. Renovated room was well-equipped - refrigerator and power sockets by nightstands. Easy check-in with codes and electronic key card - convenient for coming and going every day. We didn't meet Simone (was told he was away on a business trip) but his mother fixed us a Sicilian breakfast served in our room every morning. The day of our departure it was pouring down rain and the gentleman helping Simone's mother with breakfast insisted on driving us to the bus station to catch our bus back to Palermo. How sweet and kind - now that's hospitality!

Nicely furnished room overlooking Ragusa Ibla. The property has a great location, with easy access to both parts of old Ragusa. Near the building is a shortcut (steeps) which enables convenient transfer between different levels of the city. The breakfast is sumptuous and includes Italian pastry, fruits, and toast-sandwich.

I haven't observed any cons.

Booked it for the views and boy did the views deliver! Just incredible. Perfect for our family of four to have two rooms opening up onto the most stunning shared balcony. Rooms really comfortable and classy. Great value mini bar to toast the amazing vistas. Ideal location between old and new towns. Owner great to communicate with on WhatsApp and his lovely parents arrived in the morning with a fantastic breakfast. 10 out of 10.

We loved everything here, especially the little balcony and pretty view across to Ibla. Simone was an absolutely fantastic host providing our breakfast of choice each morning with a beautiful smile out on the sunny balcony. His desire to please his guests was undeniably honest.
